I knew it's hard. I knew it, but damn! Didn't know it's that hard, to be honest. I watched the other guy trying to cover one of the Band-Maid song, but not as good as yours. It was worth watching though, because I could see all the details of what Misa is doing. Well done!
Not sure if you saw, but Misa just posted on Twitter that they were recording a new song where her part consists of switching between pick and slap every other measure for the entire song. Her remark was something like "what was I thinking?"

Youre one of few people who are brave enough to take the challenge of trying to cover one of MISA'S most crazy bass lines. Seeing you work the bass but tell us that it aint easy and you made mistakes and it was too fast makes me respect MISA as a bassist more. It would be nice if she ever released a vid on BM prime covering I Still Seek Revenge so i can get a good look at everything shes doing

As a non musician, hearing a musician like you say that parts of MISA's playing is hard to get down correctly is just cool to hear. It really shows that we all have room for growth and improvement.

Amazing that you were at TGT! I'll look for you in the video 😉. I was fortunate to see them on the US tour last fall - we didn't get the awesome set list that you did, but it was still something special. Yes, MISA's tone can't be overstated - it's a beautiful thing!
I don't think so. The "fills" that MISA plays immediately before the choruses may use some lower notes (I couldn't really discern exactly what she plays there), otherwise there's nothing lower than the low open D string. I actually think there's an advantage to having the open D because you'd have to fret those notes on a 5-string. I love having open strings as options - they're good opportunities to change positions (or push up your glasses....). The biggest difficulty for me was the tempo.
