Hi Mike, great selection in this one. Love that tiny tram like unit going to and from Stourbridge Town. Very respectable double thrash from the Class 50s - so good I watched them twice. HNY and fingers crossed for a better 2021 than 2020
They look like a modern version of the 1950s railbuses; a shame they're so ugly though. Would look better if they were like a double ended Optare Solo / Versa!
Happy new year to you also Brian, I go to one shop a week with my wife, and go mostly in the countryside to film trains, so that's what I do to keep safe.
@@antman09ful1 all we can hope for is that by Easter or May at the latest we can get some sort of normality back in our lives. Have a great day and Happy 2021. 🤓 💙💖
So... a) Is it possible to social-distance in a Parry People Mover? b) Does someone say "Mind the gap" when the doors of the class 230 open? c) Don't the class 50's sound like son-of-37 when they thrash? Excellent mix BTW.
Hi Jon, here is what I think and know, A. in the class 139 they have cut the amount of people they carry, but when I was there it ran mostly empty. B. Don't know but I don't think so. C. sorry Jon I disagree with the comment about 50/37 sound. Thanks for watching my videos Jon this year, and Happy New Year to you. Mike.
It was okay I guess, tyseley to derby test train on a Wednesday which was weird and most of the usual workings like the cement and ballast didn't run but I got some good shots 👍🏻
Well the one's which have been delivered are working Wrexham to Bidston service, and I believe others up the valley lines but I could be wrong about the valleys.
Never tire from hearing that sound. All the best. Bryan.
Same with me Bryan, but you probably know that.
Nice mix Mike. Lovely thrash from the 50s......Even a bit of mini thrash from the 230!😋🤣
Oh yeah there was, cheers Paul, have a good one tomorrow evening.
Regards Mike.

Charming short, very well put together. Loved the latest branding on the 139.
Pleased you enjoyed Bear.

Would look better if they were like a double ended Optare Solo / Versa!
Great footage, especially the 50’s. Not sure what I think of the converted ex underground units.
Well It gives someone a job I suppose.
Interesting video Mike, like the 50s, cheers .

Great Video Mike, Happy New Year :)
Thank you Blake, lets hope in six month we can get back to a sort of normal life, HNY.
Excellent, love the sound of a class 50. Quite a comparison between the 50's and the class 230, there nearly silent. Well done 🤓 stay safe 💙
Bit like Chalk and Cheese Tony, so I've joined your tier, but no one is saying for how long.?

@@antman09ful1 same to u Mike.
Antman: Proving that two fifties don't always equal a hundred.....
If you say so Julian.
Great video.
Great Jonathan.
That 139 looks bouncier than a Pacer. Great vid
It is Ben, they used a bubble car unit before these 139s
Modern equivalent of 1950s railbus.
Would look better if they were like a double ended Optare Solo/ Versa bus on rails!

They certainly sounded good Mike, will have a 5 minute vide up tomorrow of what I filmed today 👍🏻
Sounds good, you must of had a good day then.
It was okay I guess, tyseley to derby test train on a Wednesday which was weird and most of the usual workings like the cement and ballast didn't run but I got some good shots 👍🏻
Very nice video everything look fine
Thanks so much for watching.
Where abouts in Wales are they heading? Happy new year.
