Getting in to 40k was no accident! Really it all began at school when a friend of mine brought in his 40k Rule Book and I was inspired by what I saw! I've been into the wargames hobby in general now for years and really enjoy it! I guess the good thing about wargames is the fact you can fight it out with your opponent on the wargames table without the worry of personal injury to yourself - well most of the time anyway! (I'm not exactly a body builder size wise)!
For my video camera is use a Canon EOS 60D DSLR Camera (Canon Digital Camera) with Image Stabilization lenses (Macro Lens, and Telephoto Lens - just the original kit lenses that came with the camera, and a 50mm F 1.4 Lens). For my camera tripod I use a lightweight Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod, and for sound capture / sound recording I use a Rhode Directional Condenser Video Microphone (Rhode VideoMic) which I think does a great job!
Enjoy the content and hope this channel is an inspiration to all you painters and players out there on the web!

Best point is to build it slowly!
If you want a new model or squad buy it as a reward for finishing the ones you have.
I have 3000pts of Eldar which was my first army (a mountain of models to paint) and I'm still not done.
gotta agree the worst mistake is to buy a large part or whole army at one go as even if you get it all built it looks horrifyingly daunting and that holds true regardless of how experienced you become
The biggest mistake I ever made was years ago (2000 or so) I got a huge tax return when I was still living with my parents and brothers (I was 19, and just about to head off to college). I took my brothers to the local game shop and dropped like 1200 dollars on me and my three brothers. Matt wanted this for his space marine army, then Jake needed a Basalisk to counter that, Chris wanted Khorne Berserkers and it just turned into a little arms race in the hobby shop. My point is that at the end of it all we had dropped significant money, and most of these models can still be found in my basement and most are unpainted.
Tips for Beginning 40k(Solely for beginners)
1. Take your time deciding which army you want to play. Ignore any nerd rage on what is best and chose purely on fluff and looks alone. As all armies can perform well on the table.
2. Once you've chosen your army just buy the codex. This way of you feel you made a mistake it didnt cost much so chaning armies is easy and if you like the army you chose you can begin designing and building a list.
3. Only buy around 500-600 pts. I recently bought 600 pts of eldar and it was a nice manageable amount. Dont buy a huge army as its extremely intimidating and is very easy to be put off; not to mention costly. If u want to save money bartertown and ebay are a great place where you save money. This will save you easily 40-50% of your money when compared to buying direct from GW.
4. When you begin painting dont worry if your not happy with your initial work.UA-cam has numerous turtorials for painting techniques and more than likely will have guides on models you will own and remember painting is a skill that will develop over time and as you can see from SS's vids it can look phenomenal at a high level.
5. Enjoy the hobby! There are numerous clubs and stores across the country( they're all over the place in the UK) who will be more than happy to have someone starting out in the hobby and will help you with your first few matches and getting comfortable with the game in general. Also getting your friends involved is a great way for you to learn together and have someone your comfortable with as an opponent!
Happy wargaming!
thats all good advice:)
Callam664 Hello, im 16 years old, and I quite simply find Warhammer40k to look like an amazingly fun game. Do you have any advice on where to buy supplies, also (this may sound stupid) but is the "codex", the rule book for the game? I live by a comic store that has Warhammer 40k games hosted there all the time, and i'll take your advice and check it out.
Game Raven A codex is a book containing all the details of a particular factions units. I don't know if it contains the rules for the game as a whole as well though, I don't own one and am currently too broke to start the game.
For point 1.
I currently love Eldar fluff among all other races, but im having a hard time choosing between Dark Eldar & Eldar mainly cause they look cool af. Really in a pickle here haha
Dark Eldar are glass cannons, Eldar are well rounded, and the codex presents all the rules of the individual faction, you need to get the actual separate rule book.
Great tips! I've been trying to get my friends into 40k but it's quite difficult to convince someone to dedicate so much time to something they aren't sure they will enjoy. I just wish I had more friends who played 40k...
+Cerberusarms Maybe start really small...or get in to one of the board games first like Space Hulk!:)
I think I might know who your friends are, D...
When you’re scrolling through two year old comments and realize one of em is D...
I have loved warhammer 40k since i got Dawn of War when it came out I was only 12 years old 5 years ago so I fell in love to the lore and the war (TAU FOR LIFE)
Another thing that got me hooked on the hobby was the background and the story behind the games. So I would recommend getting into a narrative for your army, not just the look. You can see that in your armies SS with the marines on the base, "fire spears" and the brothers leading the Dark Eldar.
Ever considered doing a narrative or map-based campaign to link a few of the battle reports together? It would be great to see how a campaign develops, get us into the characters and bring us back to watch the videos over and over. What do you think?
Are you under some sort of contract with GW? I just wonder because;
1- You own like 3-4 different armies.
2- They are VERY well painted.
3- You are british.
4- You do GREAT narrative videos on GREAT looking boards.
5- You do not go for the forum "Win at all cost"- lists.(The way GW intended this hobby to be)
6- You also have commercials every 2 minutes.
I would not be surprised if you were. Your UA-cam page is some of the best advertising for GW and how fun it can be.
You're giving GW too much credit.
Not disagreeing or agreeing but isn't that just a bit extreme?
Super shill detected. I saw a video this guy did where he advised new people to buy the huge $170 Shadowspear set. I don;t think it comes with the full hardcover rulebook like the Dark Imperium set, and it's a bad idea for someone new to get a massive pile of plastic for their first time assembling/painting minis. That way makes it easy to get super discouraged and quit. But it makes GW a ton of money, so I assume that's why it's in the video.
I had my suspicions after he recommended using Ceramite White in a basing tutorial. Nobody would do that for free.
But then I saw his harlequins up close in the 10 Tips to Win video. No way GW paints for him.
another thing to do is if you are starting warhammer 40k ignore all of the nerd rage from people telling you not to do it cause they are going down hill, Its super fun to paint and battle, the casts are great and the background of some armies is very interesting.
Some best advice in that.
TheDeadEyeWolf Well, what's NOT nerd rage is that WH is currently severely overpriced, and getting worse every year, because GW is stupid and greedy. And I'm normally one who doesn't like using the word greedy because of how many people misapply it, but... well, when you're slowly strangling your faithful customer, who basically keep you afloat with their plastic crack addictions, you're really not thinking ahead.
Should have watched this video before i started collecting. I wasn't sure what army to start collecting and now i have five armies between 200 to 1000 points in size :p
I started with Blood Angels back in year 6 of Primary School .. I was introduced by a friend to an after school club and it was brilliant, kept the hobby up for about 5 years, building, painting and fighting. Good Times.
I'm going to start it up again .. 10 years on, think ill stick with one of the classics, space wolves I'm thinking this time round, and maybe some Tyranids later on after that.. I cant wait to get started again!!
Cool...enjoy collecting. Keep an eye out for the new 8th edition of Warhammer 40K coming out very soon. I would hold off buying any rules or codexes for now until the new edition comes out. But by all means paint up some minis in the mean time!:)
Yeah absolutely, I've seen on the games workshop site, do you have a release date in mind for the update?
Go to France, get alot of cheese... put it in your list.
which cheese?
@@johnwotek3816 The space macheeses
I don't play Warhammer but I buy them to create joy while I'm painting them and for others to look at them
With your first army it is always hard to not buy quite a lot to begin with, The first army I painted and collected properly was Necrons and I did it because I was not confident with painting at all. I did it by buying the battleforce first and a charecter to go with it.
If the painting seems like something that might intimidate you, do try and get something quite basic to begin with.
- I doubt something as silly big as a complicated huge character (that you want to look better than everything else) is a good place to start. Some sort of captain/lord model is a great place to begin.
- Like my Necrons, get something that is similar too and almost as basic as your Core troops so you practice similar techniques before moving onto the charecter.
I used to paint with so few colours on things, and I think now I am at a good enough stage to say I am a semi decent painter. Like everyone is saying though, try and start out small and reward yourself with new units! Anyone wishing for some inspiration, feel free to check my models out on Imgur (mostly fantasy based)!!! :D
nubgan.imgur.com/all/
i am 12 and i relly like war hammer and collect my models and paint them. i have paid for all my figures and i have a decent army
+Phil Niemi
What army did you choose?
Noice, I am also 12 right now, how is your army going?
Your doing miles better than me. Good on you, don't give up.
Sorry about the essay just before, also l just wanted to say how much both myself and my son learn from your painting tip videos they are fantastic thank you.
No problem...glad the videos help:)
Very good advice, mate, and applicable to any wargame. Cheers for all the effort.
Awesome basic info for someone starting this!
Start collecting box and kill Team rule book gets you started fast. For example Thousend sons, Necron and Tyranids give you 200+ point teams in just a box, and Tyranids Broodlord with Genestealers can be played same way in a GS-Cult army as Patriarch+Genestealers ... the teams are painted fast and can get you into matches to practice game basics before taking on the larger scale WH40k battles.
To agree with advice 5, I personaly find smaller games more fun to play and more interesting because you can play them whenever you want. One Day, me and my friend woke up at 9 am and we decided to play a 500 point game and without even noticing, my chaos space marines were beated in one hour (damm the Eldar trickery :D) and we had so much fun that morning. So yeah, small scale games can be very fun.
Another great video on great tips thank you so much, I decided to buy a Tau starter set as my first
Ok great! Enjoy collecting:)
My brother and I just started 40k, got a few tau units, and the stormclaw orks are on the way from ebay. hopefully that won't be a slaughter.
Anyway, you got me into 40k (IG vs Tyranids apocalypse game specifically). Thank you!
Lot of good advice from here too. we do plan to keep it small.
great...gald the videos were helpful and an inspiration:) Tau vs Orks should be fun:)
I first got into 40k one day when I was looking for models to paint cause I liked to paint planes and I saw the 40k stuff one day I decided to buy a box of good old fashioned space marines because they looked cool and I was some what familiar with table top games like d&d. Afew months later and boom I had my little army
Hey SS and fellow helpful players! I'm brand new to 40k and some of my friends are joining the game with me. We all have small armies and we are interested in playing team games, but are trying to come up with a solution for turn order. I've been watching your videos for weeks now. The batreps and tip videos are all wonderful and super helpful! Anyways, after seeing how many people play teams where one team moves first and then the other team moves second I thought this would be the obvious way to play and I feel like it keeps turns moving smoothly.
However, some of my friends disagree and think team games should be played with Team A's first player's turn then Team B's first player's turn. Followed by Team A's second player's turn, then Team B's second player's turn.
Their argument for this being that it seems unfair for the whole team to go against the other team... To which I brought up the point that that seems to be exactly how a game is played with only two people.
I honestly don't mind playing either way, but was wondering if there is a good explanation for either side. I understand we could probably play both ways and roll off to decide which way to play or whatever... But was just looking for some assistance.
This is probably a question for a blog... but I'm not too fancy to blogging. :p whoopsie
Thanks!!!~
+James Williams Maybe try it both ways and see what works best:) Totally up to you guys really...
Thanks for the advice for a potential newbie. I will have a look at the small starter sets to see if there is something I like and then have a go.
Ian
Warmahordes and Privateer Press is also Self Contained, and has some amazing models.. Granted more customization with GW which is fun for the modeling enthusiast!
Eldar is a cool army I have about 8,000 points of elder and you can get really artistic and get fancy with the paint designs and I got my bro into space marines and my dad is starting necromancy and my mum sisters of battle cause she thinks females with big guns and cool stuff is brill
that's pretty cool
Your dads starting necromancy?
Tabletop Terrainer it’s pretty easy to resurrect the dead man, it’s a side hobby on scale with 40k
This really is excellent advice. I've finally figured this all out for myself but it would have been really helpful to have someone tell me all this years ago.
Ya know, I've been thinking about getting either Tyranids or Tau for years now. I've always loved the models, especially Warriors and XV88s, but I've never been able to acquire them. First time I tried buying a Hive Tyrant, I was at the local hobby shop with my dad. He looked at the price, took it out of my hands and told me to spend my money elsewhere. Very discouraging when he used to be an avid model collector and painter.
Firstly look at game reports choose which type you want stealth ,ranged or rush inkill but get killed its up to you but tactics wise eldar dark eldar is harder but definetly pays off space marines tau and space wolves easy chaos space marines or demons are good but hard enemies
Buy a 3D printer and game by proxy. Who needs expensive models. Make tokens for all your friends for any model they want! Want an Imperial Titan, no problem just use that 3D printer to make a big base token!
***** Really?
A Titan now, not a Knight...
www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/mars-pattern-warlord-titan-body
You can also use the printer for other things and print out a labelled token for any unit. I've gamed by proxy. It is just as much fun and you don't feel like you've been ripped off.
Pretty sure that hurts the business.
It is a temprary thing that you are supposed to get out of. Besides, you stille have to buy the rules and the codex. You also wouldn't be able to take it anywhere but your firend's houses.
A good 3d printer isnt cheap
Great vid as always, im thinking about starting 40k so this was very helpful. Beautiful wraith lords by the way :)
I picked Blood angels to paint because they look badass
Yo man, I am exactly thesame! I don't even play the game
check cmon to see different painted figures and see what suits you as well as pinterest
Great vid . Full of good advice . Do you plan on doing any painting tutorials for space marines . Specifically flesh tearers cos I'd love to see your take on that colour scheme .
thanks:) I have a Blood Angels one already and Imperial Fists coming soon:)
Great advice.
great vid as always SS keep up the good work
Are these some kind of Fire Dragon inspired Shining Spears? They're really nicely painted. Maybe just a little more picture variety in the next video; I could look at cool eldar all day.
I want to play 40k with my uncle. I haven't asked him, but he likes simplicity so orks may be the way to go.
+Ryan Bright What makes orks simpler than space marines?
Less units, simple strategy, fun to play. There are a fair amount of ork units, but not as much as Space Marines(which I play myself).
Really good advice, tho i'm one of those players that gets a hole army at once (or 2 army's). >.<
I normally work on the projects until they are done and don't sell them, but it may take over a year to get it ready for battle.
Btw the sound was a bit low when you was speaking, otherwise great video :)
Wise up
i's like to ask when your painting tutorial for Imperial Fists is going to be released? I'm quite fond of them and i think of starting collecting that army and i really like yoyr paint work.
I plan to get it done soon:) In about a month all being well:)
Is there anyone out there making Warhammer Fantasy Bat Reps of Striking Scorpion82's quality? I think 40K is excellent & fun to watch, but my heart lies with Warhammer Fantasy in terms of building my own army. Great information in this video, a lot of which crosses over to the other product line.
The Mid North Coast of New South Wales has very few gaming clubs, so any one in that area looking for one try T.A.G.S. in Taree at Mal's Toy shop.
I am just trying to help, as their are very few clubs in the area...
Good video, StrikingScorpion82. Though it just not the same to watch a video from you and not hear, "It's good-goings, so far." :P
I really like the look of the Tau (I used to play Dawn of War a whole lot) and I like playing from range and somewhat defensive.
Is the Tau a good faction for that? If so, then I would like to know if the Tau starter set is a good place to start.
(3 Crisis Suits, 10 Fire Warriors, a Ethereal, a bunch a drones and a rule sheet)
Hey all, aside from the video which is great and has a lot of tips that I find very useful, I was wondering if somebody here could tell me what kind of differences there are between Skitarii (or Adeptus Mechanicus, I don't know what they're supposed to be called) and Tau, as I'm torn heavily between the two.
Getting back into 40K. Actually had started again with 6th edition. I just got a bit miffed about having just bought the 6th edition rulebook 7th came out not less than six months later. However having seen your channel and your clip on how to save money tips I've now sold the old book(Not really old still bloody brand new) and looking forward to purchasing the new book. Ive decided I want to go Grey Knights so am seriously taking your advice and starting slow and steady. Waiting on the new Codex this coming weekend I believe. I just had a quick question based on your advice of not going nuts at the beginning and buying too much. Would you say going with a Grand Master (The Drago or Stern Model), Terminator Librarian, box of Paladins, 1 new Strike squad and a DreadKnight is an ok start or still too much? Great Channel and keep up the good work. I'm totally in awe of the painted armies I see in your battle reports.
thanks for the comments:) I would say that seems ok...I would maybe just get 1 HQ for now....I think (but could be wrong) that Draigo won't be a standard codex HQ anymore....so for now I'd leave him out:) Yes....slow and steady is much much better...and get in to the habit early of painting and finishing what you buy before getting more:)
***** A single HQ choice to start with sounds good. Add that to the new Grey Knights starter box i think will work as a good start
Well, this advice I'd pretty much the exact opposite of everything I've done...
And would you say buying a tactical squad for £25 and then jump packs for £6 (for 10) is a better idea than buying 2 assault marine packs. +strikingscorpion82
It would be but u won't hv the chains words and all the other melee weapons but if u hv spare ones then probs
Hey, did you know that warhammer 40k seventh edition has been announced and is coming on the 24th may!?
***** then you u don't use the Internet the new editions is released 24th of may confirmed by white dwarf this week pre oder is this friday and there is a video on gamesworkshop youtube on about it ]
***** yeah they failed so bad with 6th ed, they have to make 7th, expect your armies to no longer work.
i watched this whole vid and found it really helpful thank you??
Great. Glad it helped:)
lol i think i did every single mistakes you just mentioned :P
Space communists got you back into the game?
Also good advice... but I would have made the same mistake of throwing over a thousand dollars at it up front without having a playable core had I watched this video first.
+ChampionMarauder For the Greater good.
what age do you reccomemd to play? my son really likes this game and is 13
Gavin Nelson I started at 14 so no problem:) Just start small and don't 'splash out' as I talk about in the video. And going to a local wargames club is a great idea. I joined a local club at 14 and am still going:)
Awesome he cant wait to start! He loves the Eldar and he thinks the rangers look the coolest so im going to start by buying those for him as a b-day gift. And we have dark tower games neaer by. Keep up the videos you inspire him as a wargamer so keep up the good work :)
Gavin Nelson ok great sounds good. Also I would really encourage him to paint everything and not get anything new until everything else is painted. It's a good habit to get in to and more rewarding:)
+StrikingScorpion82 i had that i bought 3 tatical marine squads and a land speeder just finished the marines but stil got the speeder to do
There is a Boy in our store he is 11 years old, he is super smart and already competing, we bought him the rulebook for 60 euro with all the art and stuff, the smile on his face was awesome 🤙🤙🤙
I am only 13 and I really want to start collecting Warhammer 40k but none of my family play it. I was introduced to it by my best friend and have already had a 500 points nids vs salamanders battle. Any tips on how to tell my parents what it is and how to afford the models (I want to play imperial guard ).my friend has show me most of the codex's and I have looked at the lore. Please answer as I think I may have found a hobby for me.
Best thing to do is play with your friends and a good way to build a force is to get models for your birthday and Christmas:)
Of internet cheaper
Question; I am someone who has about the same artistic talent as a half-dead walrus on a good day, should I even consider getting into 40k, since it seems that the painting/art is about 45% of the game itself (please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.).
Don't get me wrong, I love to paint and make things, but I am objectively terrible at it.
Also, thinking about starting a White Scars army for the first one, since Space Mongols are hilarious to me, is that a good choice or should I stick with something more simple like Ultrabluebarries?
@Nathan Marcano You should start with whatever army you like the most, if you like the look of the models, like their colour scheme, their backstory or play style, that'd be the army you would be best to choose. Don't forget you can paint any model whatever scheme you want, there are heaps of choices you can make to paint your models and you can even make your own colour scheme and give your army their own backstory. And also you said you are bad at painting, that doesn't matter, by the time you have about 10 infantry done they'll all just blend in and the bad looking ones will look nearly identical to the good ones from 5 ft away. Hope you enjoy getting into 40K man, best of luck to you :) (P.S. I'd recommend using the black spray primer as brush priming is a b*tch, also don't forget to buy all the tools necessary, if you want any more advice or tips email me at facistgold@gmail.com)
Try following one of the channel painting tutorials along step by step...alot of people who are new to painting have tried it and it has helped them:) And maybe start with an easier army to paint...I would recomend Necrons:)
Cheers, the both of you.
That's funny you mention that, SS, because a friend of mine and I are going to build two very basic 500 point armies, one of which is Necrons.
thats a good way to start:)
Alright. Thanks for your time.
I'd like to start playing but it just looks too expensive. Plus I live in a small town and would have no were to play it.
What about buying a army of Ebay or from a friend?
Getting an army off ebay as a starting point can be quite a poor choice, the glueing isn't always great and stripping a large amount of models can be a chore. Would only recommend this for someone who has been doing the hobby for a while, someone with the modelling experience to be able to rectify things that may not be to your liking.
Could you do a tau army showcase please?
coming soon!:)
I started collecting space marine but I feel like painting takes ages how do I make that more enjoyable
Imperial guard VS tau
here a question is the 7th edition rulebook atleast compatible with the 6th edition space marine codex i mean like does it have the info that is needed for the 6th edition space marine codex like the weapons
What do you recommend for a blood angles army +strikingscorpion82
I would say just pick units you like. Maybe check out the Blood Angels codex review on the channel and the Complete Army videos for Blood Angels to get some ideas:)
Can the Rulebook be bought without the other books, but are the other books needed to play the game or is it just lore and art. I wanna save money and I am thinking to sell some of my Space Marines to like start over on a clear board but I dont know where to sell them? Should I sell them just on EBay or some other site btw I have not painted over half of the army yet only the base coat. I might sell them in a low price because they are a bit damanged and the details are blocked in some cases but I just need the money to buy the rulebook and other needs to play the basic game. I didnt go with this list so that is why I wanna start over even though I am pretty new.
+Anduin Aulio yes ebay is best:)
which army do you recommend starting with like space marine or orks or eldar ect
+ThomasOliver Landry Totally up to you. Check out the battle reports and see which army you like the look of:)
i would go with space marines even tho i prefer orks id go with space marine because they seem the most beginner friendly
+ThomasOliver Landry Space Marines are considered the "easiest" to learn as far as I know. They're all 4's.
chaos it is
Great advice, thank you. l have a question for you though as l am currently torn with which way to go. l currently have close to 4,000 points worth of Chaos. My dilemma is half of me wants to continue with Chaos as there are still quite a few different units l would like to get and bring it up to 10,000 points, the other half of me wants to start a new army something completely different. Which direction do you think l should go and why? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated StrickingScorpion82 as l have not too long ago started watching videos and feel you would be a great candidate to point me in the right direction. Also while I'm here, is it possible for you to do more 40k lore videos please as l really enjoyed watching the one's you have done so far. Cheers and keep up the great work 👍
thanks for the comments:) Hmmmm....well I'd maybe finish the Chaos and get them up to 5k points...all painted based and ready to fight. Then whilst you finish them...check out some bat reps and videos and see which other army you like the look of. Hope this helps:)
Tyson Gardner start another army, and still stick with chaos. That way you'd have two armies and if your like me who only knows one person. Who likes 40k, then another srmy will drastically change the games.
DEATH TO THE TAU!....that said, brilliant video mate:D
unkeljerk or... he's a dedicated hobbyist
Eldar or Dark Eldar army to start with ? Newbie here, Love Eldar fluff but the models and colour scheme doesn't really stick for DE however its the opposite of Eldar lol help!
My advice...just go with what army you really like. You could even do both...a lot of people do ally these two armies in games:)
awesome, thx man! cheers!
I'm thinking of a Tau army, should I get the starter pack?
yeah that is a good way to start:)
Should I also get the codex?
oh yes you will need that:)
my problem is i just like the model making
First Comment! Awesome!
Wow man. You're on it lol.
Except you had nothing to say.
Yeah just how I do I guess. Never been first and I had a little bit of self pride I guess! awkward...... GO WARHAMMER GO!!
Pretty sure saying first comment is saying something :) well done mate. Not easy getting first comment.
I appreciate it FairmeadGaming! ! It's nice to get some recognition once in a while!
i really like space marines and stuff but i dont like the chapters that exist now. so i was thinking about making my own chapter but i dont know how i do that. Can someone please explain me?
Ole Stoppelenburg basically paint it your own colour scheme, base it mainly around one thing (like white scars are based around bikes) get a standard hq and customise him and give him rules from a primarch. Then add rules from other chapters to make it unique, buy models that you want your army to be based around and then give up with a name.
I like model making, but I just don't have time to paint
is there a big difference gereden 40k and aos
well one is futuristic, the other one medieval fantasy so yeah
Best advice on where to start? Make a video and read the comments section lol. Tells me all I need to know.
I dont know which to go for, tyranids or space marines
Lol
Giz PvP i'v had trouble deciding between chaos space marines and tyranids
Totally tyranid then necron then elder then space marines , play the games on pc first
Where you buy this figures
Jean Diaz go to gamesworkshop
Jasper Wills Better yet, go somewhere else. GW overcharges everything and most distributors will actually give you a discount.Yeah, it's completely ass-backwards, but welcome to 40k. Personally, I'd wait for the inevitable price drop when either GW gets their head on straight or goes bankrupt and someone more sane buys the license.
very true
Quality is no longer something hat GW has thats heads and shoulders above the competition. Quality is excellent across the board and anybody who tries to claim that GW still has the best in the world is living under a rock. There are some beautiful miniatures offered up by many companies these days. GW over prices all of their stuff and their products are no longer so much better in quality that they can justify it.
I play 40k but I recognize that GW is bullshit and there are other wargames that offer models that are just as nice and are offered at a much cheaper price tag.
banana man infinity it's a little cheaper and bigger models
Looks like cheese on their heads!
