Why do we have 6 car 7000 series trains rolling around? These trains were supposed to be designed for 4 or 8 car trains only. Anyway the 8000 series trains will be designed to support 6 and 8 car trains but with open gangway A-B married pairs.

To make it easier to retire the 2000 series, they are over 40 years old now
