- This city has some really special healing powers. You feel it especially when you walk around Old Town in the evening. Lublin stole my heart. Sitting for hours at the fountains. Watching the colours. Listening to the sounds of water and kids being joyful. Around me many others wil just sit, listen and breath. And just be ❤🇵🇱

This city is of great importance for the history of Poland and Lithuania, as well as Ukraine and Belarus. It was here that the act of the Union of Lublin was signed(1569). The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was established. It was the largest territorially country in Europe.

The last time I was in Lublin was over 30 years ago. I attended a month long folklore course at UMCS on 3 consecutive summers. The first one was before the fall of communism in Poland. I was 16 for the first one. That's where I learned to drink!
Lublin has changed a lot since then.

@@thewritingtraveler if you still in Lublin you need to stop by and visit 2nd oldest pastry coffee shop in Poland and definitely go upstairs, that place has some crazy unbelievable history. Place is called "chmielewski pastry" 6 min. Walk from the fountains, cheers from Tennessee, US.
