Your Muddy Miner saruccas did a great job isolating the garnets.
Great video, Solomon! You looked like you were having a lot of fun out there. :)
It was a great time! Camping by a small lake was relaxing too!
I would LOVE to find some garnets and have a necklace or earrings made from garnets to honor my Mom. The Garnet was my Mom's birthstone. She passed away at the age of 74 on September 3, 2020.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for watching! I am sorry for the loss of your Mom.
There is a farmer that has kimberlite on his place in the Lawrence area, and they've found diamonds there.
I have heard about a couple pipes nearby I believe. I was not aware of the diamond finds but I hope to visit again soon, maybe I will be in the creeks again😂!
Kirby is a good dude! Glad you enjoyed it.
For sure! Thanks for watching!!
Nice finds!
Thanks! It was fun finding them!!
enjoyed the video
Thanks for watching!!
at a headwater to that creek, you should be able to find 100 - 200 pounds of gold. as garnet is a very common gem found with AU.
That would be awesome! I wish I lived near this location, we had loads of fun on this trip. Thanks for watching!!
Is this out west? The only garnets I know of are around the Tuttle creek area and unless you're talking about the fine glacial gold in the region, the only other gold would be placer gold from the rockies.
@@darcyk5548 this was in the glaciated region of Kansas.
i live about 20 miles from stockdale ive collected rocks a long time .. 👍
Sure is a nice area!
Great job, Solomon! You did find a lot of great garnets! Were you in Riley County, Kansas? If so, the black was ilmenite from kimberlite, and that was the source of the garnets as well. I found all of those intrusions 30 years ago when I lived in Knasas. I searched The Stockdale Intrusion and found a lot of garnet and ilmenites. But, of course, no diamonds. Which intrusions were you at? Was it the Winkler?
We were just outside of Holton KS, I cannot remember the name of the creek.
@@TheArkansasDiamondMiner Okay, that's not where I thought you were. I didn't know before that there were garnets in that area. I'm glad you found some.
@@genuinediamondsinar3253 we were in glacial till finding gold as well. It was a heck of a lot of fun! Have you been to the stateline district and north to prospect?
@@TheArkansasDiamondMiner Yes, but there are a lot of locked gates and anti-mining ranchers. We couldn't get close to where we wanted to be.
Does any of this have value? I obviously know nothing
There really isnt much value unless you find one large enough to cut. Aside from that, spending a day in a creek with several good friends has a bit of value😂. Thanks for watching!
@@TheArkansasDiamondMiner that one in the jar at the beginning of the video seemed decent sized i thought it would be worth some good money and i was about to go start shovelin a creek😂
@@shakinbottlesmay as well grab a Muddy Miner Saruca and do some prospecting😂
@@TheArkansasDiamondMiner im looking into it rn😂 thanks man great video
