I don't know. I would think Luffy would be totally uninterested rather he is or not. Luffy kind of shares Whitebeard's philosophy that blood relations don't matter.
With Ace and Sabo the fact that they aren't blood related is completely irrelevant to Luffy. He also isn't all that interested in his own biological father, I mean dragon was never there when he was growing up so in Luffy's mind he's no father of him.

I think the Moria and Hogback theory is actually true. I find that the most believable. Plus, it is JUST LIKE MORIA to use someone elses name to gain money. I mean, he IS rather lazy. And we know he's alive and possibly in the New World with Absalom and Hogback.

Kenon Brinkley Yeah, I just mean if we are to speak on a more sensual pick. Just... Can't see Weevil being a serious asset towards Big Moms goal. I mean its a better idea than a giant or something. But also to think that if Weevil and Lola did marry. Weevil would not be a warlord right now.
Insignia He's really strong. If he's Whitebeards son, maybe whitebeard wouldn't want to fight him and that's why Big Mam would beat him. If Big Mam and Kaido have crews about the same level, a big asset like Weevil could tip the scale in her favor just enough to win. Besides, big mams devil fruit is probably one of Kaidos few weaknesses. If she can beat Kaido, she can probably beat Shanks too. Do you see how it could fit? I know it's a stretch, but I don't think it's responsible to say that Weevil being the one Lola rejected to not make any sense.

But to be a bit more real... and probably to somewhat show why im skeptical beyond a doubt. its a stretch to say one single marriage would tip the balance for Big Mam to such a degree. When she said that she could have became the pirate king already is somewhat absurd. It also seems more likely that it feels like Weevil was brought up in popularity more recently than not. So for Big Mam to just have the idea of having someone who isn't even really seen as the son of white beard entirely just yet, kinda seems a bit off. Also less of how Oda would write in this seemingly large plot device from nowhere. Just doesn't hit as many connections as it should. Sorry my words feel a bit jumbled from what I was getting at. I didn't mean it as the thought you had made no sense, just more of how it would fit into the plot. Weevil, from what I took it as, is a character who popped up in popularity mostly in recent events following whitebeards death. So for an event such as Lola's marriage decline being at a time before thriller arc. ... kinda just a bit of a stretch in that manner. Something that would be unlike Oda to write in suddenly.
Plot twist: Weevil is just a failed cloning experiment that was made by the scientist who calls herself his "mother". She took WB's genes(probably one of his nurses gave a sample to her) and made Weevil, however since she is neither Vegapunk nor Judge she did not know how to programm the clone and he somehow ended up having WB's strength, but not really much of a brain... That would be my explanation^^
Now that's going to be a most twisted part in One Piece if that happens and reveals Ms. Baki as a Scientist.
Whitebeard's extended family is his "Treasure" and it was shown Newgate don't give a shit about gold and jewels (reason why he had no interest in the One Piece)

Well in all honesty, Whitebeard's original japanese version is Shirohige, which translates to White Facial hair, so it makes sense.
Also, I have a feeling Shanks might be way stronger then Whitebeard was, simply because we don't know, and he has never tried to cause problems, which probably means he's stronger then even Kaido and Big Mom.
I think Shanks is gonna turn out to immensely powerful.

Lucas Franke Shanks is pretty much around in his 30s. It's possible to make Shanks as the father since we still don't know much what Shanks is doing in the Timeskip other than helping making Graves for Whitebeard and Ace.

I don't know when I saw weevil the first time the first thought that came to me was thriller bark. He has all the stitches like the zombies.
No doubt out of the Yanko, that Whitebeard would be among the most BADASS ones ever. Probably outside of Gol D. Roger, Newgate was among the strongest in his prime much like Garp. Hell, it took almost everything the Navy had to finally take him down.
CWDTrixie to be exact the Navy's full force couldn't do it. Blackbeard and his crew did him in.
CWDTrixie And hell he was already at death's door before the whole war... he couldnt use perfectly his haki and his kings haki was totally unusable (when he tried to use it he got heart attacks...). And if Blackbeard didnt come i think Whitebeard wouldnt won but still he would destroy the whole island and maybe even kill one of the Admirals.
And even when everything was shot at him he refused to die a cowards death. Whitebeard was severely weakened due to his age.....Even then the navy could not fight against him on even ground. Blackbeard and his crew of devastatingly legendary pirates did him in, he was worn down then but still he dealt blackbeard such a sweet blow.

Weevil is not whitebeard's son, he is actually the son of one of big mama's husbands called "Pound" if you actually look online for a picture of Pound he looks exactly like weevil with the snot nose and the body features. I think weevil is a son that big mama doesn't know about because Pound cheated on her with weevil so called mother Bakkin. I could be wrong but if u look at pound you will think exactly the same.

Can you talk about how Shanks is supposedly one of the strongest characters in the series and yet lost to a sea king? A sea king that Luffy in his weakest form defeated with a single punch?
This has been covered multiple times, i even covered this once in my Haki video. Shanks LET the seaking take his arm. He told Whitebeard he "made a bet on the new era" giving up his arm to hopefully inspire Luffy to fulfill his dream to become pirate king, Luffy really reminded Shanks a lot of Roger.

Well just like whitebeard family is very important to him how he always listens to his mother and wants to avenge his father.
A big shirtless guy with braids, a mustache and a childlike personality... Weevil is Obelix.
Here is the plot twist i believe Oda will use. Weevil is actually, Whitebeard's son.
But it is discovered the reason why Whitebeards dream was to have a proper family was because his wife didn't really love him. And pretty much just married him for the money and renown.
Now One Piece has a very interesting way of portraying old women. They usually are hot when they are young. Hell, even Big Mom herself was hot back when she was young.
So this woman that claims she is Whitebeard's wife was good looking i am sure. But a horrible human being.
Also Oda has stated several times that he is a huge fan of game of thrones. And which Game of Thrones character is known to have married the wrong woman, a beautiful woman sure, but a woman only interested in luxury and money? Jorah Mormont.
Edward Newgate is the same. He loved the wrong woman. She used him, disappointed he leaves to the sea, with a dream of making his own family.
But he never realizes, that the woman she married actually got pregnant. And so Weevil is born outside of Whitebeard's knowledge.
Would be far more interesting plotwise to actually make Weevil the legitimate son of Whitebeard. Will give you more Whitebeard past backstory, and also will show you that no matter how strong or powerful you are, everyone can make mistakes and everyone can have their dreams crushed.
Whitebeard probably got so disillusioned in love that he gave up on it, and decided to create his own type of family.
And Weevil would become a more interesting character. He is just an idiot being manipulated by his mom. But that deep down he truly cares about who his father was. He just needs the right guidance. Something Luffy can help him out by beating some sense into his head.

Combining this "Weevil is Whitebeards son but she is not his mum" and "Crocodile was a woman and Ivankov made Crocodile into a man" to get Crocodile is Edward Weevils mum. Crocodile thinks Weevil died when the island Crocodile was waiting for Whitebeard to come back to got attacked even tho it was under Whitebeards protection after Crocodile woke up missing the arm that was holding her baby and blames Whitebeard for the attack that took their son
i mean shirahoshi's mom somehow plopped out a baby that was like more than 5 times her own mass at birth sooooooo. And we know that shirahoshi didn't just grow a lot, from like a regular sized baby to a f**kin giant. We actually see shirahoshi as a baby and her mom is smaller than shirahoshi's head alone

To be fair Tekking, Shirahoshi was MUCH bigger than her mother too, even as a baby, but yeah I have no idea how the frig that worked either. But I do agree that her not being Weevil's mom would be a wonderful twist.
What if Weevil is Whitebeard's biological son, and also part Fishman. It would go explain his strength and the fact that he can take down fleets single-handedly since many New World crews can't fight well over water(devil fruit).
When he talks about the mom not being Weevil's real mom due to how big he is, but doesn't talk about Otohime, the King and Shirahoshi
I heard somewhere that the Japanese language doesn't have separate words for "beard" and "moustache". It's all the same word, meaning "facial hair", which is why Whitebeard's beard is just a moustache.

I think a great shock would be that Weevil is actually Whitebeard's son, just to get everyone's actions extremely shocked.
you should address the "shanks is evil" theory for some reason that as always peaked my interest.
Apart from the colour of his hair, the white mustache and the fact that he's tall, he does not look like Whitebeard.
Whitebeard's hair was much more wavy and smooth, while Weevil's hair is spiky and dull-coloured. Whitebeards mustache, apart from being much smaller and broader, was also round-ish with shadows and such, while Weevil's literally looks like it was pasted on his face (can imagine his mother doing that during his sleep and he just believed it grew naturally). He also has very different eyesockets and a different mouth, which are usually the things mangaka are the most consistent on when it comes to blood-ties. I mean he has a different build altogether, but that can be accounted to the fact that he is also quite fat.
I would love it if your theory about his 'fake mom' were true, but I would personally be genuinely disappointed if he is related to Whitebeard by blood.
What I would like to see is an arc where the Strawhats go to Weevil's territory (or actually his mom's) and confront him there to redeem Whitebeard's name, Luffy knocks off the fake mustache, the crew reveals that Weevil's mom has been lying to him and they form an alliance of some sorts.
And Shanks, I believe that he has quite possibly the strongest haki in the series; a haki so strong that even intimidated Akainu by just looking him in the eye. The power of injecting pure fear into your opponents to the point they just rather not fight you, that sounds like a power worthy of a Yonkou.
Whitebeard, a man so powerful, no one question why his name was Whitebeard even though he didn't have a beard.
I have 2 theories about Edward Weevil:
1. Fake son. Brainwashed to think that he's actually Whitebeard's son by his mom or another person(s) of higher authority for some reason.
2. Real son. Young Whitebeard in his flashback right before he died desired a family and eventually had one. He had a son but was either murdered by an enemy or was captured by the marines and executed(note the stitches on Weevil's face and neck and this also explains why Whitebeard would do everything to stop Ace's execution). Whitebeard was devastated by his son's death so he began treating his crew and his allies(Squard, Whitey Bay, etc.) like his own children. Although his son was brought back to life by some means, perhaps revived by a devil fruit user or experimented on by the world government(or another powerful group) and was kept secret this whole time until now to do their bidding.
3. An abomination created by some unknown group in an attempt to create another Whitebeard. May or may not possess Whitebeard's DNA(via blood, hair, toenail?, etc.), procured after his death, or even beforehand.

1. I think it would be intresting if lufy meet marco so he would help him against kaido (they said after bringing back sanji htey will meet with him) and then weevil will come and declair to be whitbeard son, and then marco reveal that he is actualy whitbeard son.
2. whitbeard dosent have mustache , its a bone. he has a dog, and he is allways throw the bone when he gos with his dog to walks, so his dog will catch the bone and bring back.
Crazy idea after watching all the Warlord videos in a row. IRL the Weevil is an insect that lays it's eggs inside of it's food source. Example being Cotton. If you look at him he looks like he has been stitched together much like Moria's Zombies. 1st idea would be his "mother" has a devil fruit that she used on him. 2nd would be that Moria is "wearing" a Zombie similar to how he operated Oars. Crazy but how would Moria hide anyway.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Weevil IS Whitebeards biological son, though I think it would be really funny if he wasn't. Regarding Shanks, talk about how he's Kidd's and his allies target. Maybe we'll get a fight between them. Or, he could go to Baltigo, or wherever there're located, and help the R. A. fight Blackbeard.

In japaneese "hige" translates like hair on the face :) so this can meen mustache or beard. It's eng dub translate like withebeard, because it's sounds like Blackbeard(real pirate), but in russian they transtale it like "white mustache" because on russian it sound cool "Белоус", just 1 word.
