      @Lino Andrade you have a point, bro. Honestly, that's how society works. Giving new laws only make those gurus come up with more sophisticated tactics.
      For me, I would aim for a world that not revolve around money. My dream job is that a job that I would gladly work my best regardless how much I get paid. That is still a dream though cuz people are still stuck with a martialism life style. On a world where how much you make is a standard. People will have to do jobs they hate to survive. And that is depressing.
      People will always find a way out, religions and politic dont seem to work so these gurus promises became some kind of stairway to heaven. It's not until we deal with the issue as humanity that these Guru stuff would be solved.
      That just my thoughts though. I'm currently going through a hard time in my life so I reckon that I could relate to though who buy stupid courses. It hard to think straight when you are under depression.
      That's why coffeezilla works is noble to me. Even Though I see them as entertainment.

Those people are just too lazy to find alternatives. For those of you interested watch the 'documentary' Kumare.

    As a Hindu, I feel disheartened when I see the western world hijacked our sacred symbols and meaning. The swastika was stolen and the meaning was distorted. Shiva is apparently 'demonic' because he's 'the destroyer', while we Hindus consider him to be the destroyer of evil and illusion(Maya). Sri is a title that we the people give to a being who we honor, and it is not to be used lightly or casually to just anyone. And so Eric Ho one day just decided to give himself the title? Dear fellow Hindus, Do we even love or respect ourselves anymore? how long will we allow people to take our religious values lightly? India is the only natural home to Hinduism and if we don't preserve it, it will be taken in the wrong direction! this is coming from a American of Indian origin who is proud of her Hindu faith and culture.

      Just a note: Swastika wasn't stolen. The earliest known swastika symbol was found in Mezine, Ukraine. A lot of cultures have used the symbol throughout history. Obviously it is a much more divine symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Even in the west, it was a symbol of good until the Nazis gave the symbol a whole other meaning. That's how evil operates. The nazis had an inverted version of swastika as their symbol just like satanists use the inverted cross and inverted pentagram as their symbol.

    • @MoonLight-sd6fk
      @MoonLight-sd6fk 4 роки тому +26

      @@highwaystar7145 You are correct, however the name "swastika" which means good luck in Sanskrit and we Hindus use it as a religious symbol. It shouldn't have been misused like that. It would have been better if they had chosen another name for it. Why steal ours?
      One time on Diwali, I drew a swastika on my backyard and decorated it with flowers . After I took a photo and showed my friend, she said I was a Nazi. It's not her fault though because our textbooks didn't elaborate where Hitler stolen the name and symbol from originally. I hope you understand the disappointment of my community regarding this. Peace.

However, one thing that did make me feel uncomfortable was his whole ''Think negative and you'll get negative'' because that sounded similar to a faith healer blaming a victim for not having enough faith. By this logic, if I can manifest negativity instantly then shouldn't I be able to manifest prosperity instantly just by thinking about it also? The gurus will say you have blockages etc. if the positive intentions don't work but there never seems to be blockages when it comes to manifesting negatively.

    The only “guru” who is worth a damn is Zig Ziglar. Keep in mind, he has never claimed to be a guru and is technically a motivational speaker. You can look him up for free and listen on UA-cam for FREE. I paid for his cassette tapes (he unfortunately passed away and was popular before the digital age. I lost 100+lbs thanks to listening to him regularly and even became #1 in sales at the company I worked for without having to lie or over sell. If you actually believe in what you sell, it’s easy. Anyone looking for a mentor, life coach, etc should look into him; I swear by him!

    The 2 gurus Sunny talks about in the video is Baghwan Shree Rajneesh, I actually came across him in the University library on a book he had written about mystic yoga stuff, the third eye, and all that jazz.
    The other guru is Sri Sathya Sai Baba (indian looking dude with afro hair in orange robes, not the other Sai Baba from an older era);
    I gave him the benefit of the doubt regarding his claims (or his followers' claim) that he was God incarnate - until I saw him sing at one of his mass gatherings. Said to myself, if GOD can sing this BAD, surely he ain't no God, Britney Spears does a better job...
    Carlos Santana also had a long time guru, called Sri Chinmoy, who turned out to be a fraud.
    The Beatles also had a guru, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi; the Beatles went to India so he could teach them to walk on water, but John Lennon later found out all the guru really wanted to do was "screw white woman" literally.
    These were some of the famous pre-youtube, pre-internet "gurus", who probably had to work harder at attracting followers.
    But this dude "Master Eric Ho AKA Sri Whateva" gotta take the cake. "People in the Himalayas are thousands of years old" LOL WTF ?
    These days, anyone can (attempt to) become a guru, just turn on your mobile phone, talk some shit, and sell hope.
    Well, dudes and dudettes, I am the real deal. I won't even attempt to sell you any shit, please take out your credit cards and donate to me, because you just want to spend it as therapy on yourself :-) Subscribe to my channel, which does not have any content (so I am not even trying to scam you), because, really, I just saved you spending on Master Sri Eric Ho's courses. My advice to people, be smart no matter how desperate you feel. You just don't go on investing money on something, no matter how desperate you are feeling. There are lot free meditation videos on youtube, watch that to calm your mind get some stability, to lessen your pain. I used eric's video for meditation and for meditation they are good, untill they started putting ads inbetween.
    Rest assured, all of them are scammers. No master roams around calling themselves master and doing courses. Those who are real yogi and masters of meditation, why they need to change their name to "yogi", "guru"... ,the first thing, after they get enlightenment.Is it like a certification now? Change your name as soon as you have seen light? If you are legit you don't need a fancy name to attract people.
    I disagree with the anchor on that, "Eric" doesn't sound like a guru's name.That is the whole point, name shouldn't define.People like you are giving these scammers points to adapt when duping people.
    Also as long as money is involved, you know they are fake. As simple as as that.
    Yeah some people may say they need the money to reach out to more people and help them. That is bullshit. In today's world if you really want to reach out and help people through meditation, then all you need is a videocam, internet and youtube account. You need not charge hundreds thousands to people for that.
    So as long as you don't behave smartly there will be always one Eric lurking behind.

  • @ladybird491
    @ladybird491 4 роки тому +26

    I am actually a real coach in this and I never ever charge people all kinds of money...etc. The bottom line is you need to live a very positive life regardless of others behavior, and you need to do visualization and meditation and affirmation early morning and before bed. You also need to eat super healthy. There are others things as well, but the main thing is that you got to have the energy of being the person, who has the thing you want, and you need to believe truly in spirit.
    I manifest all the time, even things people would consider big. Again, I do not demand money nor scam. I have a channel for teaching it.

    The Law of Attraction often gets hijacked by these gurus. It's not the only law in the universe and it's only a school of thought that should lift your mood and help you work on your issues. The LoA is not supposed to switch off rational thinking.
    If you have to go into debt for a "guru" you have been gaslighted, this is NOT positive thinking/LoA. It actually is the opposite, desperation: you are still waiting for someone else to fix you instead of fixing yourself. Real LoA is long-term inside work and about figuring out your emotional habits and issues. And you should not ruin yourself to get healing, no real teacher will ask that from you.
    "Wild Wild Country" is about Osho and his followers. But other than most gurus he always was very open about enjoying wealth and money. There are still communities following his teachings today.

Apart from that, excellent interview and you have to feel for the victims of these gurus.

    I am a little angry at finding this out, I never invested in his programs but was subscribed(now UNsubscribed) to his channel. The first thing that struck me as funny is yes, MASTER-(call no man master).Foolishly I thought nothing of it. Second was a birthday video he put up recently and somewhere there (in the description possibly?) he said something about the audience donating money for his kids. Uh, what? 'scuse me? Then after reading more on cults and mind control Steven Hassan writes great material(it's in more places than you'd ever want to know, (P.U.A.,P.O.T.U.S. religions, internet, video games) I'm wondering if many of his videos especially the Eye energy transfer aren't a form of hypnosis. Steve uses a model called B.I.T.E. to look for undue influence. That is Behavior Information Thought Emotional(control) and describes the techniques used by manipulative groups and people.

    As someone who got swept up in Eric’s sell for about 2 months, I can say we all need to be wary of people who claim to be spiritual leaders and sell information for profit.
    The biggest issue I have is the spiritual cover up. The “you know in your heart this program is right. And if you can get into vibrational alignment you can manifest the money to pay for it.” It’s a bit immoral to prey on the spiritually vulnerable for profit.
    The biggest red flag was went individuals made product orders and Eric’s company failed to deliver the products in a timely fashion and failed to communicate with those customers directly. Their team literally told people “we are creators. Not complainers” when customers where upset for it getting their deliverables.
    People just need to be careful. Thank you for this video. I wish I saw this before investing myself.

    Coffee, you are doing such a good cause. I think what you are doing is extremely important. Is there a site where people can legitimately donate to you?

    I've been to Eric Ho's sales event one evening with my wife and he was gaslighting the audience to buy some bullshit water filters. He's a scam artist like no other. He's not spiritual in any way and is a pure narcissist. Shame about the guy in this video that he is laughing about how other people in Osho's retreat got conned and he this guy got conned too for $26000. He's as stoopid as everyone else. It's not funny. These kinds of things ought to be outlawed and these kinds of people (like Eric Ho) banned from public speaking gigs.
