Well, at least you used the vastly superior Ghostbusters 2 chiptune version of the theme instead of the first game's 3 second loop. Great job on this one, I was giggling and laughing with joy the entire time.
Major props for sneaking in the Blades of Steel "AHHHH!" sound right when Peter gets slimed. And as others have noted, the Castlevania "Holy Water" sound right when Slimer drops the dinner plate is a great touch, too. Part of what makes these videos work so well is that you aren't entirely handcuffed to using only the original game's tunes or sound effects. I was wondering how much mileage you'd be able to get out of using exclusively Ghosts 'n Goblins music and SFX, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear the other effects snuck in there at certain points. Great work, as always! Also, as others have noted, the hard edits between scenes, with the screen going straight black after "losing a life" then starting again with the "next stage" theme was such a nice touch. Anyone who's played G'nG for hours on end knows the frustration of staring at that second or two of a plain black screen between lives, over and over again. And over and over. Again. It's the details that make the difference, something you have clearly realized since day one, retroSFX!
R.I.P. Harold Ramis "Well. Let's say this Twinkie represents the normal amount of psychokinetic energy in the New York area. According to this morning's sample, it would be a Twinkie thirty-five feet long, weighing approximately six hundred pounds."
Great montage of the video, it's very good. Also, there's two ideas for future videos: -A dubbed of a Godzilla movie (one from the Showa era for example), with the Godzilla game for the NES. -A dubbed of a WW2 movie (i don't know which one), with Wolfenstein 3D.
Thank u. Hunter will be loving this tonight during are indoor camping trip. We are watching this movie, playing this game, eating smores n watching this video 3 or 4 times

Please, make one with Sunset Riders, or I will! (I'd prefer if you made haha! And may I sugest Back to the Future 3?)Thank you very, very much! Big fan!! (sorry for the poor english)
It's from the Ghostbusters 2 NES game. There's a longer version here: ua-cam.com/video/cY8zuaFVYRs/v-deo.html As 8-Bit rips of songs go, this is definitely one of the better ones from that era.
Again the movie's visual with the game's audio matches perfectly! Also i like each time the heroes failed or screwed their duty to fight ghosts, the game audio's death/player miss sounds is played. Probably the best part in here!
I didn't think I remembered that being from Ghosts 'n' Goblins, but I was also terrible at GnG so I never got very far and thought I'd missed it. Then again, I never used Holy Water in the OG Castlevania games either, preferring the knife or boomerang cross so my brain didn't immediately make that connection. Now that you've pointed it out, it's pretty obvious yea.

It's incredible how an 1984 movie can fit with some nes music and sfx. Great Work!
Ghostbusters is in my top 3 favorite films of all time...you absolutely did it justice in every single way! Terrific edit here!
That’s high praise! Thanks!
Nicely done blending 8-bit GhostBusters music with Ghosts N' Goblins!
Never realized the opening tune and ghostbusters main theme share that many notes.
No, it doesn't. They used the Nes Version of Ghostbusters 2 Main Theme.
Great work, as always! The bonus for making this video: you got to watch one of the most entertaining and funniest movies of all time.
Excellent job as always. Ghostbusters N Goblins
Great job! I really liked this one. And the Ghostbusters music at the end was the icing on the cake!
