One thing you forgot to mention was the difference between Candace and Vanessa's relationship with their parents worked! Yeah, sure, at the beginning of the series, Candace and Vanessa weren't all that different from one another, and yet, as the series progressed, Vanessa ended up becoming much closer to her divorced parents whereas Candace remained the exact same person she was at the beginning of the series, always trying to get Phineas and Ferb in trouble, whereas throughout the series, Vanessa matured and discovered how much her dad cared about her at the same time. Phineas and Ferb only cared about trying to make Candace happy on two occasions, once when it was Candace's birthday, then in the movie Candace Against The Universe, where Phineas and Ferb showed her a mug of all the great adventures they had! Vanessa was able to see that her father, even though he was a mad scientist and a divorced father, still could care quite a lot about what kind of path his daughter took! Every time Candace showed her mother, Linda Flynn Fletcher, what the boys were doing, it would always be destroyed by Perry, creating a very unhealthy relationship with her mother and causing her to go more insane each time! I think the major difference between the Flynn-Fletchers and the Doofenshmirtzes is that, despite living under different roofs, Heinz and Charlene were able to have a healthy relationship and no one was left out, whereas Candace was always left out of her family dynamic in a lot of instances!
