Knocked Loose performing in Louisville, KY. at LDB Fest 2020 day 2.
Edited by 197 media
Audio recorded, Mixed, and mastered by Jacob Michael Scott
This show is fucking perfect. No crazy lighting, no huge stage, no barrier keeping the crowd 6 feet from the band, just some heavy ass music played in front of a crowd thats 100% into it in what looks like a shitty warehouse, just like it should be.
That’s like the vast majority of hardcore shows lol. That’s how we do it
Just saw them last night, in what used to be a shitty warehouse with awesome lighting and just a few props. It was perfect, they have just enough extra shit but still super close and intimate with the crowd. Was one of the most insane crowds I've been apart of \m/
This is the closest I’ve felt to being at a show in a year
This was the last show I went to. Crazy it’s been over a year.
Same here 🥲
I feel that.
Thankfully I had a chance to go to a show last week, first time in a year as well

If 2020 had a catch phrase.
idk how no one is talking about brians vocals they are pure violence
@@jdeez69 tf are u talking about? his vocals are fucking dope
I used to hate knocked loose because of his vocals now i love them and i love the energy his voice creates.
It’s so interesting, people either LOVE Bryan’s vocals or hate them. I don’t get it, he’s honestly one of my favorite vocalists doing it right now.
@@RootsThatRuin I hated them at first but now I absolutely love the rawness of his voice. It fits the absolute aggression of their music perfectly
@@jdeez69 I agree, dude looks like a toddler and sounds like one having a tantrum. But i guess it's cool to say his vocals are good because theytre a big band in the hxc scene?

17:03 - Jim Barron (Heartstopper)
23:43 - Dallas and Trey Garris
26:44 - Tyler Norris (Foreign Hands, Vicious Embrace, Wristmeetrazor, Simulakra)
27:48 - Jack Zabinksi (No Option)

Knocked Loose songs are basically just one big breakdown... amazing!
My parents used to sing this to me as a baby when I was going sleep. #memories
I’ve seen them all so I’m allowed to say this - this is the best Knocked Loose live video on UA-cam. The crowd is bananas, the atmosphere is amazing and the boys be crushin.
I hope you get to see them live because from my experience this crowd was nothing.

As an oldhead and hardcore fan for almost 36 years, I’ve seen and/or heard just about every band you can think of, over the years. These kids are absolutely THE BEST hardcore band in the New School! So tight and well rehearsed, and they write killer fucking jams. Every musician I play with always give big ups to these boys! Keep fucking do what you guys are doing! I am loving it. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼💯
any recommendations for old school stuff like this?

I’m not gonna lie...I watch this vid at least every other morning lol...
The guy who mastered\shot this video is GOD!
IDC what you think of Knocked Loose but Counting Worms became one of the most iconic hardcore songs of a generation.
it really is the anthem of late 2010s hardcore
Love the energy & music of this band. I grew up outside Lexington, Ky & used to go to shows like this in Cincinnati & Louisville when I was in high school. I miss those days & my Old Kentucky Home. I now live in Southern Nevada & play this band all the time in my classroom for my current high school students :)
The sound mix is exquisite. The band and the crowd... amazing!!!
There was something so special about LDB 2020. Perhaps my favorite weekend ever. See ya again next year, ya punks.
I had goosebumps watching this ENTIRE SET. From start to finish. CAN WE HAVE LIVE MUSIC BACK YET FUCK
Forreal, I'd agree to quarantine for 2 weeks after a show just to be able to have live music again😂
I shed a single tear watching this video
6:52 that just got me so fucking hype dude, i just got up and started swinging at the air in my room
21:21 the big dude didn’t miss a note the whole show this was probably so cool for him lol
broooo i was sayin the same thing this dude knows ALL the lyrics!
You know he was high on that shit for weeks. He knows every word. Im glad he got noticed. He was keeping up the whole time. 😂 I love it.
For reall I'm so glad he got recognized lol
Yesss I was just about to make a comment about him, dude knew every line! And he’s kind of a bigger dude, so I imagine the crowd appreciated that he was at the front and not rearranging people’s faces in the pit lol.
That is a fan right there!!!
Im 38 years old, but i know for a fact if i was 18 again and at this concert it would be one of the greatest shows i ever went to lol
God damn. This set gives me chills every single time i hear it. So much energy in that place. Its unreal
Im so happy this band exists
i love how when counting worms comes on everybody just starts beating the literal shit out of EVERYONE 😂🖤
I didn’t know how much I needed that. Goddamnit... I have literal tears in my eyes.
Can we appreciate how incredibly polished this sounds? I mean it's p e r f e c t. You rarely get amazing recordings like this one from live events, especially if we're talking about metal. Props to both the sound engineer that worked on this live and to the band for the flawless execution.
I thought the same! captures it perfect.
There won't be enough EMT's in the nation to work the next live Knocked Loose show after shows make a comeback💯
I really can’t believe all it took was this video and I was instantly hooked have not stop listening to them since and will be seeing them twice
The air horn player in the crowd killing it at 2:54 🤣
LMAO usually air horns are loud af but in the midst of everyone else going on this was just a little “toot”
The way they come in with Belleville @10:25 just hits so hard it doesn't get much better. Love the energy these guys bring 🤘

It’s pretty dope, coming home from a weekly open mic, watching potential local bands, and then watching this video entirely. Goddamn this is a legendary set.
When you see concrete blocks in front of bass drum you know it's a banger
Glad to see this old school metalcore sound making a comeback
It's been like this for the better part of 6 years.
@@neighborhoodmusicsnob5517 I grew up in the 90s. 6 years or not it's a comeback
@@JD-hc1sr fair enough
@@neighborhoodmusicsnob5517 Heavy music seemed to be trending the wrong way in the 2010’s. There are always exceptions but as a whole it wasn’t great. There’s quite a number of bands helping bring it back and knocked loose is at the front of that. You could pick these guys up and drop them off in ’96 and no one would be any the wiser. That 1st gen metalcore sound was so unique and it’s refreshing to hear it getting back to the roots, so to speak
@@JD-hc1sr as far as bands getting big are concerned, definitely. There's always been great bands but I agree there was a point where especially in the punkier side of things not enough good bands were getting the respect they deserved. Deathcore wasn't as fun anymore and you had too many proggy nerds in the metal world alongside some very unoriginal 80s ripoffs. But I dunno something changed around halfway through the 2010s. Maybe bands were finally figuring out how to use the Internet effectively. Maybe people started working collectively to build their scenes instead of flailing around individually waiting to magically get popular. Maybe the scene as a whole got less bigoted cause I certainly remember an accepted level of homophobia up until the 2010s (it certainly kept me in the closet for a while) and we're still trying to work on getting rid of the transphobia. It's probably a little bit of all these things bubbling under the surface until it finally came together. In any case it definitely feels like the spirit of 90s metallic hardcore and turn of the century metalcore is back with a modern twist that keeps it fresh and interesting. So we have the best of both worlds now. Cherish and share it while it lasts.
13:10 that noise right there. Fucking perfect.

The front and mosh brought the energy for the entire venue 🤘don’t get how you can just stand when KL is playing
And this move is called 'starting a lawnmower'

Say what you want… Bryans vocals are truly unique and require such precision. One wrong move and he finished. That’s why I respect his vocals so much 🎉🎤
Why is this the best live audio mix I've ever heard?
The seal of approval for this band is how hyped the crowd gets. The pits, crowd surfing, and bum rushes demonstrates pure hardcore. 😙👌
