Sad, but inevitable given the lore established in TBBT. Just like Georgie and Mandy's inevitable divorce. One of the best things Young Sheldon did was to show that Sheldon mistook George for being with "a woman who wasn't his mother" and forming his knock knock knock habit.
WHY. COULDNT. CBS.
JUST. LEAVE. THE. SERIES
ALONE. DAMNIT.
THE. NETWORKS. ALWAYS
FUCK. THINGS. UP.
Ya ya we all are aware George died when Sheldon was 14 but we should not have had to watch it. Could've just been a Sheldon narrative.
The ending of Episode 12 was a shock but not surprising. If you followed TBBT, you knew that Sheldon's father died when he was 14. To those fans of YS, who say that they will not watch the finale etc., remember that it had to end this way considering what was said in TBBT by Sheldon.
I was a young Sheldon fan at first but then I saw big bang theory on young sheldons description so I watched it and it changed everything
Young Sheldon was never ment to be a happy show. Its a tragedy in disguise as we already know their fate
The family gos downhill and most won’t heal from this death for the next 20ish years.
Sad part about killing George sr off was he had finally gotten a dream job coaching at rice University and the writers didn't even let the character get one day into his dream job
Just like in real life
Sheldon personally seem different in young sheldon compared to Big bang theory. Both sheldon were annoying but in young sheldon he didn't seem sosical detached. Missy was rebellious but she seem happier. In the Bing bang theory sheldon seems scary to get to know people and try new things and Missy seems a little sad. I think Georgia death was a huge emotional tragedy for the twins.
I really wish they ended the show in a happy way. Loved George throughout. I wish there were no sadness in life
when you think about it, george spent most of his last few days in pain from getting his balls snipped 😆
WTH DO TV STATIONS KEEP SHUTTING DOWN ALL THE FAMILY TV SHOWS!? SHAME ON THEM AND CHUCK L!!!!! I WILL NEVER WATCH ANYMORE OF THEIR SHOWS!!!!
Young Sheldon should have been the first show. Then TBBT. Making them backward was stupid. Even some of the things that George was supposed to do in TBBT did not happen in the Young Sheldon.
I don't know why everyone in the comments are so shocked. It was practically made clear that George Sr. was going to perish by series' end. Sure, it is tragic given how much of a loved character he has become, but this was an inevitability that the writers locked themselves into from the onset and they could only forestall it for so long.
On the bright side, at least they cleared up that George Sr. didn't actually cheat like Sheldon had thought he had. So that is a silver lining.
He got that vasectomy for nothing?
connie keeps hanging up on sheldon not sheldon hanging up
They could just send the Family to Huston, did not have to kill George off!
Yes they did. It's in the canon. Had they left for Houston they would have been stuck there when he died.
If you watched Big Bang, we all know George dies.
Jeorge was great in show I didn't like this
That’s a terrible way to end a long running series. I’m not even sure I want to watch the last two episodes. It will be nothing but sadness. Worst decision EVER to make George die at the end. Makes me both sad and angry.
Have you not watched Big Bang Theory. His father was dead.
@@deniserusso4361 that is true Sheldon did mention that in Big Bang Theory. I myself have an eidetic memory like he does.
Of course I knew his father died when he was 14, but they could have ended the series before the fatal event happened. The spin off with Georgie and Mandy will not include the Cooper family so they didn’t need to kill him off.
@@artforlifelady you can blame the writers for that, I honestly don’t know what is up with sitcom writers in the 21st century
Hopefully in sheldons story to goes to when he met Leonard
I wish they didn’t kill him off in this show, it could have just been mentioned at the very end of the show. He was one of my favorite characters, definitely flawed and did a lot of bad awful things, but Mary was no saint either they were just human beings who had good and bad in them like we all do. I can’t tell you how many times I have done awful things but yet still maintain relationships with my family and some of my old dear friends. I will miss George. R.I.P 😢
And exactly what bad, awful things did he do?
@@butchn2505 my bad, let me rephrase that, I meant to say was that he like the other characters on the show made mistakes but he was still a good character. On Young Sheldon, he was nothing like what Big Bang thought him to be
Punctuation, Punctuation, Punctuation....
Completely off the subject...even though she looks as cute as a button, does anyone know why CeeCee always a hat?
There are some women who just cant evolve into something other than mother
