I enjoy all of your videos, but your food videos are one of my favorite. I do enjoy how you savor your meal, and the explanation of each item, but it’s the way that u do not change your persona even if u r in a 1 or 5 star Michelin restaurant. Keep enjoying life and all that Paris has to offer, and keep filming. Merci !
I'm so envious. My husband and I are going to visit Paris next year and we will be following many of your recommendations.! And if we see you, well, Allez, on y va!
I love Le Train Bleu restaurant. It's a wonderful place to eat. In May we returned from Lyon by train, a city I was an exchange student in 1979. I had crêpes Suzette also. It was delicious.
We were in Paris in July/23. We loved it so much we are going back next May! Dinner at La Coupole was the highlight of our last trip. Going back for my husband's 65 birthday!
As long as you do not see a beautifully young woman in tight black dress with short hair, it is OK (Nikita by Luc Besson) 😂PSvery Nice place, I do agree
Oh man I just got back from Paris! Thank you so much for all your videos they enabled my wife and I to have a wonderful time!! Blessings to you both! I’m trying to convince her to move there Lol
Ate Dinner at Le Train Bleu last year. Seeing this video had me remembering it again. I had the same meal she did, lamb & crepes Suzette. You should consider splurging for it, just once!
La coupole is one of my favorite restaurant ! Living in Le Havre, 2hours away from Paris its amazing to be able to go to Paris for the week-end and get back to work on Monday
Le Train Bleu is hands down our favorite restaurant in Paris. Great service, spectacular food, and the setting…ooh la la! Haven’t been to Bofinger in ages, so must return. Great video!
Colleen, thanks so much more explaining the difference between American style pickles and cornichons! I could never get a definitive answer on that until now.
I’m a big fan, and I hate to be critical but, Antoine sounds underwater but Colleen sounds totally normal. I’m listening on iPad so maybe it’s my problem. Just a heads up in case you’ve started using new equipment.

J’adore vous deux! I used to live in Marne La Vallee years ago and I’m returning to Paris this weekend for my 50th🎉 Your videos have refreshed my memory and introduced new businesses to check out. So much has changed since the I lived there!! Merci vous deux for the fantastic content ( sorry about the Franglais- mixing French and English language) I tend to do this a lot 🤣 Will keep an eye out for you both this weekend and if I spot Colleen’s striped shirt I will give you a wave 👋🏻 Love from 🇬🇧
I watch on my Roku and came here on my iPhone to say that I’m so impressed by your sound/mic game. I love that we can hear you guys so well without a lot of background noise, but we do still get a little cafe noise for ambience. If you’ve invested in tech for this it was worth it. So I am very surprised to see people saying their sound was bad.
@LesFrenchiesTravel La Belle Epoque is 1871 -1913, les Anne's folles is Roaring 20s era. Le Train Bleu is 1900 era, for instance, def Belle Epoque, as is Brassiere Lipp. Bofinger pre dates Belle Epoque.
All of them are very good but Le train bleu is really special because the decoration is wonderful. It is an historical monument. To be done at least once in your life.
As a waiter, the one who made your crêpes flambées at the Train Bleu made a HUGE mistake : serve alcohol directly from the bottle, into the pan. Always, and I mean ALWAYS pour whatever alcohol you'll need into a small glass and NEVER approach anything flammable with a bottle of alcohol. Unless you want it to burst in flame in your hand. The weird thing is that he had it done properly for everything else : the sugar, butter and orange juice were already in their own pots, with the exact quantity. Source : I graduated as a professional waiter in France
Will not be my first time back to Paris again in couple of months but wow wow wow am I glad I stumbled upon you guys channel… I’m just taking down all the notes like a first timer, merci merci merci❤❤❤
I am currently in Paris so tomorrow will definitely check one of these out. I have a long list of food places you have recommended. We went to Beefbar yesterday - don’t think you have done that one on video? Art Deco and wonderful. Please try it. ❤
You two make me smile. I probably won't be going to Paris anytime soon until I have the money, but oh man I do hope my vibes are just as good when I'm at your age.
My mom and I are visiting Paris for a whole week this November! We’ve been watching ALL of your videos for about 200 days (since we got tickets). We’d love to run into you guys when visiting! Also, I wonder if you guys could do a video about things like WiFi hotspots, stations to rent Lime scooters, things like that!
Ha Ha, you know when Antoine does his little knife and fork dance the food is out of this world 🌎! Great Video folks! Hip surgery only a couple of weeks away now so should be fit to travel early next year! Cant wait, Vive La France, here i come!👍👏👏👏♥️🏴🇫🇷
All the food looked so amazing my mouth was watering 🤤 I love how Antoine does his little seat dance when he is happy and how Colleen protects her delicious desserts 😝. I found a great little wine bar in the latin quarter called “les pipos” which has also been around forever. Would love to hear your opinions on this place. Until i can get to Paris again I will continue to live vicariously through you two ❤
When I remember my trip to France 🇫🇷 for my birthday last year on December 28, 2023, I remember Chez Germaine, The Eiffel Tower, taking my photo op with the Eiffel Tower at night on my birthday, Arc De Triomphe, Louvre and the sirens 🚨.
I loved Le Grand Colbert…I was just there a month ago and had such a terrific meal. It was my second time there and it will always be a stop anytime I go to Paris.😊
Even if the food is not something I would go for it all looks so amazing and love the way you both enjoy it all so much along with the cutlery fights! Also Antoine always looks so stylish (& so do you Colleen). The desserts all look yum.
I wish I knew what restaurants would be open on Christmas Eve and Day this year, as I will be spending Christmas and New Year's in Paris this year. I'm going to check the free guide. Thanks!
All those French dishes were great, I am a chef with Indian Cuisine as my forte, but that roasted Lamb leg slices, crepe suzette & baba-au-rum were to die-for, well pretzel reminds me of French & German were like India & Pakistan
Hello! I'm heading to Paris for a second time. Are their any suggestions for finding more salads/vegetables/etc. I think I saw your video last year, and did go to the same bolangerie most mornings for cafe et patisserie on my way to the Louvre as suggested. I am hoping to practice more French this time prior and am watching videos like this. I forgot about the guerdon until I saw it in this video. I was a food nerd and then changed into an art nerd in middle life. I'm also keeping an eye on your wardrobe, you and a few other you-tubers were very correct about dressing nicer being important. :)
I love your food videos so much! They are my favorite. And I love to see you two enjoy food. And I flippin love that you eat dessert because let me tell ya I eat dessert after every restaurant meal!😂💗 I do have a question…I have an onion and garlic allergy…is it pointless for me to even try to eat out in Paris? Is that something that restaurants can and would be willing to work around?
We returned from our first trip to Paris about two weeks ago... Of all the cities we've been to in Europe and the UK, Paris is our new favorite! We're definitely going back in the next few years. Nothing bad to say generally speaking... Had a few sub par meals, but most were very good. But the choice of places to eat in the city is overwhelming! Just too many choices.
Careful with the baby. I saw a couple, who are french, not very welcome by the maitre de salle, who also pointed out to the couple that there was no place to change the baby either. Very strange as he seemed to have no problem with people who had a dog, which can make lots of noise, and could pee or poop on the floor. At least a baby has a diaper. I guess the Pope is right when he said people today accept and fawn over their dogs rather than putting babies first.
My daughter and I had dinner at Le Train Bleu a few years ago. The restaurant is gorgeous and our food was nice but our waiter was incredibly rude. He really spoilt our experience.
Great video! I love the champagne in the cup! We tend to save this for special occasions here. I am planning a Paris trip in the Spring and will try these restaurants. Q: When ordering champagne does one just order “champagne” or is it like wine where you have to specify the bottle? How does one order champagne? Do restaurants have house champagnes?
It differs from Restairant to Restaurant- generally they will have a list of different champagne 🍾 my favourite is Billecart-Salmon I’d encourage you to try it followed by Piper Hiedsick
We’ve eaten at Le Train Bleu and Bofinger. I ate the exact meal that Colleen had at Le Train Bleu and loved it. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was amazing. It’s expensive, but worth every penny. Bofinger had a beautiful interior and the food was high quality. However, it wasn’t our favorite type of food.

I love Le Train Bleu restaurant. It's a wonderful place to eat. In May we returned from Lyon by train, a city I was an exchange student in 1979. I had crêpes Suzette also. It was delicious.
I do the same little dance as Monsieur Frenchie does when he loves his food... I'm salivating watching this.
I love the way you two bicker over each other’s food! I love Antoine’s orchestra director reaction when he really likes something!

Merci pour ces visites de restaurants qui ont marqués notre mémoire et votre dégustation de plats typiques et iconiques !
All of these places are among the most expensive tourist traps, but your video makes the dishes absolutely lovely!!!

Cinq magnifiques restaurants et cinq repas qui nous ont mis l'eau à la bouche. Merci de partager ces moments avec nous ❤ !

Colleen, thanks so much more explaining the difference between American style pickles and cornichons! I could never get a definitive answer on that until now.
Same here. I always wondered what the difference is - now I know. Thank you!
La Coupole! The onion soup there was the first thing I ate when I visited Paris and it was such a wonderful introduction to the city.
So good!

I am watching it on TV and have the same issue. It could just be one of those bad recording days…
Same issue for me and I’m listening from my phone.
It sounds like Antoine’s mic is out of phase.
Same here on a Galaxy tablet. I figured faulty microphone for Antoine since hers sounds fine.
Same here
