Daphne is so gorgeous.
@zarzarbeast so there is only Black privilege. Schools in Europe do not even have atheletic programs, Dafne did it all on her own and started when she was 9 years.
zarzarbeast she’s not from the US, pretty sure you have bigger things to worry about over there right now. You reckon black people have it easier than whites?
zarzarbeast you do realise that white students receive 72% of all scholarships as opposed to minorities receiveing 28% of scholarships in university. Yet the black minority makes up 76% of nba players, it’s the same in New Zealand. Maoris and islanders are on average a lot better at sports the same as African Americans and as a result rack in billions for the economy. White students scholarships for sport tend not to not last, they tend to be sponsored by students.. these are students who attract publicity, and they generally don't last beyond the students' graduation. Just because black people get more scholarships and funding doesn’t make it racist... have you ever considered the fact that maybe they’re just more successful than white people in their field of sport? Please read and reply to everything I’ve stated rather than linking an article or saying some other bullshit bud
Man I'd be sooo happy for Blessing if she could medal here this year.
Miller Uibo is just incredible and like the usain bolt of the 200m and 400m...She is clearly streets ahead of all the others who are seasoned 200m runners...I just cant see anyone getting close.....In the 400 seeing her vs the girl from bahrain NASER for me is the height of it all...Both are just majestic over 400...From time Uibo beat alyson felix by falling over the line i think her confidence is one of someone who considers themselves unbeatable
I dont see her that far ahead of the competition in the 200m but she can definitely control the 400 for the next 5-9 years
@@TheNextgenballer even with naser biting at her heels in the 400
Can't she just be Miller Uibo for herself, and not the "something" of somebody else?
If I remember correctly Thompson ran pretty well in the Jamaican race against SAFP so she might be in better shape for Doha and the DL final than this video suggests.
Never underestimate a champion remember the greatest bolt on championships matter to so people
Really hope Thompson will win next WC, but we can't just forget Miller Uibo..she is amazing
#teamjamaica
This point system is in no way a forecast of how the 200m will pan out in Doha.
Not in the slightest. Doha is the Worlds. I expect the podium will be DAS, SAFP, and ET. And not in that order.
EVERLASTING12000 is SMU not running the 200?
@@cwopre I believe she will in the the DL Finals, but at the WC... scheduling would prohibit her from doubling, so likely she will run just the 400m. That's my understanding.
I really wanna see Dina Asher Smith in Tokyo next year, and I want to see her medal. She’s doing so well this season
not super impressed with the times in the 200 this year. I feel like with everyone running over 22 there is no real favorite for doha?
Everyone is trying to peak for the World's this month (Aug '19)
@@ranhill62 The end of next month. People are trying hard not to peak now. I think some have already though....
My Love🧡
My money is on Miller-Uibo for the gold in Doha!
Margaret L I don’t think she is doing the double
If Thompson stay injury free it's over even for Miller.....because Thompson will go sub 21 by far
22*
Margaret L what date is that race going to take place ?
Pank hair and all, huh! 😂
When are y’all gonna release the “400m women’s story so far”
@@raithtoga7572 Are you kidding me? You must be Cleopatra ' 'Queen of DE- NIAL'
@@raithtoga7572 but isnt miller uibo doing the 400
@@ruthryan9173 My point , exactly!
fantastic ……..
Dafne can finish last & I'll still watch her
@Joyce Williams she needs to stop going to the Dutch bakeries
I came to watch only Daphne schippers .
She's very gorgeous..
I am going for the long shot, Schippers for the win!
G. T. That is a lonnnnnng shot 😂😂
@@manualbatt1648 Well, she finished 4th
I guess her days are over.
G. T. Time waits for no one
Wishful thinking
Elaine Thomas and Shelly-Ann have both ran 22:00 flat this year
Only Thompson
@@okartwilliams4100 yes...obviously...but thats not what the commenter said
Asher-Smith is gorgeous
Dafne still win races. And is still the fastest woman over 200m 21.63 s. Before 2018 ,Dina asher Smith never beated Dafne Schippers over the 60m the 100m and 200m.
ALL PARTICIPANTS IS PRACTICE FULL, TECHNICAL FULL, POWERFUL FULL, AND STRONG FULL.......
BUT WINERS IS WONDERFUL
Miller Uibo will win the 200/400m double at the 2020 Olympics.
I think Dafny's bright days are fading. Miller Uibo, great run... n who's that beast runner Asher Smith? my God, she made Dafny look like a jogger lol
2:58 Wow, Daphne...6th?
I don't think Miller Uibo running the 200m.
Okagbare should be number 1..she's got 20.06 this year
22.06?
Yes...sorry
22.06
For her talent and speed, Okabare is the most inconsistent runner I have ever seen.
@@chobanks3949 Elaine got 22.00 flat
open strong field.
I like Dafne schippers, but it looks like is is topping out at 22.50+
*"Deana ASHA Smith"* desperately requires an American coach to improve her running technique and form...
She appears to run with a low centre of gravity, making her off balance and untidy to watch..
Talent at this level, should not go to waste...
Who is responsible for this technique?
Where is BOWIE??
good question. She's so far had very few races, with pretty unspectacular results. Either she is injured or is totally focusing on the Worlds. She can go as a Defending Champion.
She was injured last season, she's getting back slowly
She switched to long jump this season
no, she is not coming back slowly as she is not competing enough. And she hasn't switched to long jump. She competed in LJ twice this season, same as in 100m sprint. Maybe her IG or FB has more info about what she is up to.
@@Meechooilka she is doing LJ...
1.2,3.4. 백미터는 직선으로 달리는것이 좋을듯하다
Jenna prandini
Good. Glad to be wrong.
Schippers would be the longshot for sure. I like rooting for the underdog.
Her time has passed now. Asher Smith maybe the one to look at
@@DC5Boss She adds color to the sport.
@@jameshaney171 how? cuz shes white?
@@jameshaney171 lol... color? Please explain...
@@KoolKaiser White is not even technically a color.....she's just there. 😂
Phandini needs to give it up and go back to instagram...
Wibo is a double champion
Where is United States 🇺🇸?? 😂
Alif Sayang sha’carri Richardson
Why do you keep putting Shippers up. Is she winning or is there another reason.
The most sensical reason is she's the two time defending 200m champion.
And leading in Diamond League points.
tsvi Yes, that’s another good reason.
Okagbare too inconsistent.
To bad Schippers is strungling with back problems. She can do better. Still no one yet has beaten her 21.63 s. So they are all slow.
they’re definitely not slow, Schippers is just super fast
It's weird to see that Elaine Thompson didn't win a Diamond League race, and she still has the WL this year (22.00)
Edit: Nobody understood what i was trying to say. I meant that it's like quite funny that Elaine Thompson has the WL and she didn't win a Diamond League race
That's not weird
@@KoolKaiser that's weird to see
@@theseven8199 maybe for u who is new to track
@The Seven she ran that inn a different event
The banner for this video has Daphne Schippers' photo. She is a great sprinter and medalist in Peking caucasian, but the top 2 or 3 sprinters in the 200m this year are of african descent. Seems this is a pattern in banners fro track events. A coincidence or subtle racism?
Robert Spies She’s the diamond leader
Why is it that you have to bring up Race???
It does seem to be racism at work in the banner images and press. Whenever two certain Norwegians run in distance races, they are always in the banner photos despite nearly always losing to runners of African descent such as Tefera, Gebrhiwet, and Cheruiyot. The same thing has been done with Schippers though her days of top form are long past.
Rather blatant, I'd say.
@@JaayRichh Correct, and she's the two time defending world champion at this distance.
*It sells*
👅👅👅👅👅
Age is so unfair.
Boo
The 2:11 mark. People going to sit up here and try to tell us that she isn't on PEDs/steroids? Yeah. GTFOH.
@Ross Viens No. Not true.
@Ross Viens Well then how do you make the claim that they are all on the juice? Do you live with them all and monitor their every move? Looking at them how? Schippers is the only one that appears to show outward manifestations of steroid use.
@@EVERLASTING12000 What outward manifestations of steroid use??
@@mnesbitt100 The moonface, the bull neck and shoulders, the copious amount of acne, although she tries masking it by tanning.
@@EVERLASTING12000 THE BULL NECK AND SHOULDERS--She lifts weights. I've seen videos of her lifting heavy weight. That's what happens when you lift weights. Your shoulders and neck get big. ACNE--Really?? I had bad acne up till my 40s. I never did steroids. THE MOONFACE--You lost me with that one.
Schippers is out of shape. too much cheese eating.
LoL
She still tryna win on a wish and a promise. 😂
@Randall Denison yawnnnnnn

Thompson isn't on the steroids, but Schippers certainly is.
Schnippers is Capping out she def would have to get back on the PEDs
