Adding to the Snyder playing/liking the Arkham games - When I was watching the final BvS trailer the intro fight scene with Batman reminded be a lot of the Arkham games; the fight style is very similar.
It really was. The ferocity, speed, style. Just really reminded me of Arkham Batman

+GhostMotley snyder definitely liked the games but never played them. back in 2012 Warner bros wanted to push a superman game out and snyder went up to montreal to meet with the guys who worked on the arkham stuff. he loved what they were doing and was on board but warner bros pulled the plug because of the reaction for man of steel being so split down the middle. i got all this info from a yahoo special they did for the blu ray release of man of steel where snyder talked about the arkham series and stuff like that.
Jiggley Krowzer i agree completely.with man of steel they had syncopy producing(chris nolans company) and the company had asked to change the ending and not kill zod but instead throw him into the phantom projector with the rest of the kryptonians. since zod still got killed agianst syncopys wishes im guessing that zack has full creative control over his dc films. i've only heard of the studio trying to strong arm him with suicide squad. zack is producing that movie and wanted a latino deadshot but the studio wanted will smith. they also wanted emma roberts for harley quinn but thank the lord she declined and we now have margot.
guys kwing wasnt cappin, Jim Gordon was supposed to be dead in Zack's vision but Joss was the one who brought him back to justice league
Not going to rule it out but the first three minutes alone I've watched contradicts the OFFICIAL tie in Batman guide which says Batman is respected and welcomed by both police and citizens as a dark protector. The same thing says while he does brand criminals, he also leaves Batarangs at the scene of crimes.
Then some accurate info on Alfred as per the book (this video did come after all this stuff came out a few days ago, mind you) but then it says the pair moved "miles away" from Wayne Manor pretty much immediately when he became Batman- but the Glasshouse he lives in now in the movie is on the Wayne Estate, just by the Manor, as is Alfred's trailer, close enough that it connects to the Batcave and is on the lake just nearby. The same book also says it's not entirely automated, but Alfred and Bruce both work on the vehicles- even has a picture of Alfred repairing the Batmobile.
Again, plausible stuff on Joker and Robin, but something we could all speculate or construct. Also, let's settle down on the "this and that bugs me" stuff until the movie comes out yeah, haha? If that's all we have to nitpick I think we should be a bit more grateful for what they're making here, because the rest is more comic accurate than anything else we've ever got- it's like people are deciding what they like and dislike about the movie BEFORE they've even SEEN it. This (to me) feels more like a mix of speculation and stuff that's already been confirmed. Not ruling it out at all, and great video, but taking it with a grain of salt.

+kNIGHTWING01 Also,this has something to do with Robin's death but it might not be what we think.In your Joker connected to Batman V Superman reveal video,(even I thought this),the reason Batman is going after Joker & Harley is because it is after the death of Todd but,in the new Suicide Squad trailer, you see a quick shot of Harley & Joker together inside this club & Harley is wearing the same outfit she was wearing while in the car with Joker.& it seems they're robbing the club & killed people.But,in the set photos before Batman is even following Joker,Joker is in the car alone,which may still be after Todd's death. my favorite parts on the trailers are when they show Superman & Batman facing each other but also the dialog between Alfred & Bruce. how Alfred tells him "he is not our enemy". the most thing I'm excited for on the movie is how Superman & Batman are with each other. it's finally here that these two icons are on the big screen in the same movie.
I love his backstory as much as I love Batfleck! He's become my favourite batman. By the way, the Jim Gordon being killed info is wrong as Jim will appear in the justice league film.
This version of Alfred and Bruce kinda reminds me of Earth one Batman where Alfred became Bruce guardian and trained him and also experimented with technology for his gadgets. It all sounds great, lets hope it will turn out great.

Watching this in January 2017 after Gordon has been confirmed for 'Justice League', we all know the dead Robin is Jason, and we've been told Batman is going to lighten up later in the DCEU...so much can change in a year.

@KnightWing01 Gotham City is NYC if you know anything about history you would know that NYC has been called Gotham city way before DC even existed since the 1600's. The original creator Bill Figer who he him self is from NY, modeled the city and said he got the name "Gotham City" from New York; but if you're going off the comic books there is no definitive location for Gotham city, its location started switching from it's origin (New York) after Detective comics #48, based on whoever is writing the comic primarily between New York and NJ even Vancouver. Bottom line continuity changes and I hope you didn't get youre info off those nonfactual websites even zack snyder himself said he choose to make their locations like that because the comics does not give a exact location for Gotham City.

Which would be really interesting is that Batman uses Nth metal for his suit while Lex is studying Kryptonite left over from Zod's or Superman's ships. Since the Bat Armor is not having any green and since Kryptonite is basically a rock, it'd be more fitted to use Nth metal, plus it's a nice wink to the possible extended universe.

Don't worry, this is nowhere NEAR the first time Gotham and Metropolis have been depicted as sister cities. Has happened numerous times in the comics.

Gotham and Metropolis have been next to each other in canon before. Snyder has explained that it's like San Fran and Oakland, which I think works just fine.

When you talk about batman almost killing joker that really reminds me of Batman 614 during the hush arc. Batman brutally beats the clown for essentially the whole issue until the very end where Gordon shows up and stops batman from killing joker....very similar

i like the way this batman is going for, a dark and ruthless way of punishing the criminal and live a life more of a myth than a hero like superman which every look up to, this is the batman that we need, the one that actually strike fear against criminal if they talk about him because of how brutal he is and also normal citizen fear him so much that meeting him other than in a alleyway being robbed is not a meeting like "oh hey i love you" but more like " please i mean no harm"

Metropolis is on the east coast and is not in the position of Chicago, that is why it is consistently portrayed with a bay that goes to the ocean, in fact it has shared a bay with Gotham before in previous canon, it has also been located on the coastline of Delaware.

+Samuel Marshall They make a whole park for the victims with supes in the center. The Park is actually in the comics, that was constructed after Superman died fighting Doomsday. Maybe It will have a bigger role in future films. Or get destroyed later in BVS.

I don't have a problem with Gordon dying. It makes sense. In this cinematic universe, we are being introduced to an older Batman who is late in his career. All these major events have happened already.
