the flexibility wont last that long, that was while it was still curing- the window and door version maintains some flexibility though.

I just discovered your videos today. I will be watching more in the future, but I need to tell you something. In the first video I watched, you talked about the importance of using a reference, to get it right. In the second video, I watched you build a pumpkin with a stem growing out of a leaf. What you did looks good, but... anyway, you gave some great advice in that first video I watched

Most people find it difficult to leave a career to go into special effects work. It's what we call "the golden handcuffs"- because normally special effects work does not pay very well and sometimes it comes in waves. Do you already make things on your own? Or would this be a complete new start from the beginning? I would suggest buying materials on your own and practicing here and there on your own for a bit. I wish you the best of luck in whatever career you choose.

I taught myself how to make masks of this size, but with papiermache. I make them for my son's costumes these past several years. I've made bendy, Sans from Undertale, and Kenny from south park.
It makes me happy to see that I was doing the mesh on the inside correctly all this time. I wanted to make sure the mesh would stick properly, especially when hand painting the eyes, so i did the hot glue sandwich method. So glad my instincts were right.

just google sphere pattern - here is one
      www.tooaquarius.com/tutorials/covering-round-ornaments/
how big do you want it to be? just put that into a parts of a circle calculator like this one-
www.calculator.net/circle-calculator.html that tells you the size it needs to be-
full disclosure- I didnt do any of that, I just drew a long football shape and copied it till I had a circle- no pattern and I did the size calculation to get a 24" sphere. (thats the inside of the sphere)
Flex seal is fine as a coating once it cures

I've used a real one before for a head but which do you think would be the best faux one for a beginner and cheapest to make? I was thinking of using a ball or balloon and cover it in great stuff until it sets then burst the ball/oon and then carve it out. Do you think that'd work? Papier Mache is what most ppl recommend to me but I suck at that for some odd reason lol. I just need a static spooky head that doesn't weigh 10 lbs like the last one and I can't find any funkins big enough!

use garbage foam, from an old couch or mattress- it does not have to be new.

What sort of acrylic paint do you use in the airbrush? If filtered would just any work? Maybe watered down just a bit?

a higher quality acrylic paint will have finer ground pigment- and yes, it just thins with water.

What thickness of upholstery foam did you use?
I would be on cloud 9 if I could make a living making Halloween props, masks, decorations etc.
