      Definitely. It certainly has helped me in my experience. Actually, our physical state completely affects our emotional state, so it follows that if we can manage our reactions to physical suffering, that has a knock on affect on our emotional state. It takes practice, but with practice, when we become aware of our emotional suffering, we can choose how to respond to it.
