Doctor Engineer, what you are trying to do in engineering terms is to give the primary beams a short span and the secondary beams can now run on the long side. It saves cost and makes a stronger structure.
I have been thinking of making the lower part of those poles made from copper treated timber. I mean those greenish poles. That is a copper oxide treatment.

Dr Daniel, you are using wood for main poles and also doing concrete in the bottom, how many years of life to the poles ? In India we are spending a lot of money to construct this type sheds but this is amazing.
