Amy ideas when this will be back on amazon ?
I don’t
I'm pretty happy with my current case but this is tempting.
Only the 100th Pi case since it's release. Let us see if Upton takes any notice when it comes to releasing the Pi 5 without the necessity for additional cooling at more expense.
Too bad they didn't also bring the hdmi ports to the back as well and the audio port to the front. Miss opportunity!
Can't buy from the website I see all other countries except UK hmm
Uk link in the description
@@leepspvideo yes but out of stock that's why I went to their website
I have one Raspberry pi 4b I bought for $45.00 new before the price shot up. I refuse to pay the inflated prices. These new cases d9nt matter if the value of the build new is hundreds of dollars when I can go and buy a UM350 MINI PC for under $300.00 and it's way more powerful. This 3xtended Raspberry pi shortage is unnecessary. Every unit they make is sold before its made, and they refuse to expand production because they are making a killing at these elevated prices. I will not buy a single pi until prices fall to the pre inflated market price. They aren't worth their current price.
Production can't be expanded due to semiconductor shortages.
@@markevs3360 That's what they say, yet somehow there's no shortage of mini pc's. You'll have to excuse me for not drinking their Kool aid.
I work in the factory where we produce them...trust me, its a fact. Hopefully the situation will improve in the new year
Honestly, I've got a few extra but I'd never buy one now at any price. I'm waiting for the Pi 5. I bought a 3+ and the next week the Pi4 came out. Not doing that again at these prices. The 3b+ was only 35 bucks.
Pi5 is not even on the cards
4:32 ROM 16GB? seriously?
Not sure why it says rom the only 16gb is the sd card
It will be nice to buy a Pi 4 again one day. Hope the pi 5 fits all these

I love the metal frame, and it doesn't seem too expensive given how much is in the kit. For that display, I'd set the button to RickRoll, just needs a tiny speaker to complete the setup.
The crappier the speaker, the better.
@@SchoolforHackers Yes!
$63.99 free shipping to the US. Ordered one today. Thanks for the review.
Luv the Pironman. Have two; 2nd is a "Contruction Zone". Had ribbon orientation and slot insertion issues with 1st. For a Noob (me), laying sod green side up more intuitive than ribbon attachment.
Sadly it does not operate as expected with other than Raspberry Pi OS.
Script not compatible with PINN multi-boot OS such as Twister 2.1.2 and Ubuntu Mate` 22.04 LTS.
Video cable sticking out of the side half way up and held in place by one of those feeble micro HDMI sockets? No thanks.
Just as a little heads-up - I think you've used the pironman command in this video, so:
- you can set most, if not all settings of the parts of this case with this command (LED colors, fan speeds, temp thresholds, ...) manually, to check out the effect before setting them permanently in the config file... maybe take another look at the help text, normally 'pironman -h' 😉...
- Plus, if I'm not very mistaken, one of the parameters equals to 'reload settings from config file', so there shouldn't be any need to restart the whole machine just for that 😄, just put it in the config, and reload - a little detail that was nagging me since the video from @NotEnoughTECH about this case: you both had the list of all pironman commands on screen, in the video, but somehow both sped past it way too fast 😉...
And, sorry if I'm maybe coming across as a little condescending - that wasn't my intention, but somehow I seem to step into that trap more and more often over the last time 😔...
Good points 👍
Thanks that’s useful information. 👍🏻
It looks like a decent case, and the price is not too bad considering what you get. It’s just a pity we can’t buy a Pi4 to go into it, at least at an acceptable price.
Why do I believe official sanctioned distributors are party to the price scalping and gouging?
@@gooberminther3tik25 Some of them might be.
Just bought this one, commented on your GeekPi, with which I struggled to get the LEDs working properly. Will give this a go but think I am liking the Black of the Geek Pi vs the Aluminum on the Pironman....but time will tell. Will come back and give my user experience on the setup of the Sunfounder unit.
They could pump up the whole damn world’s economy if they’d just drop a couple of million Pis on the market.
Nice looking variation of the stats display screen here.
Different from what I use, currently.
I like it. Looks like it has some personality!
What is it about m.2 screws where they seem to jump out of your hand and into another dimension?
I have lost 2 over the course of 2 months and I have even drug my carpet using my neodymium magnets with no luck.
Talk about a hard little bugger to put together with arthritis in both hands, but is very nice and works. I had a lot of problems getting the ribbon cables in but managed. The only bad part is Pi4 8GB are expensive right now. The instructions was ok to follow but I would wait to slip the little screen in until your ready to put the side piece on. Thanks for a great review on this, reason I bought one.
which is best ssd for this case. will need for tons of pen testing and learning.
The Kingston a400 m.2 linked in the description is good
file manager, could just type in ".config" in the address line
@leepspvideo I got a question, I want to get one of these for one of my projects, however I need 1tb minimum for my project, I looked online for M.2 SATA III but they seem very expensive, is there any alternatives, SanDisk Ultra 1TB micro SDXC expensive too.

@@leepspvideo I intent to use a retro image on the ssd, but am I am to swap between or and raw booting of the reto games image, I would but the OS on a micro sd, or even a small usb thumb pendrive.
I got stressed looking at all of the small parts lol😅. But, you gotta love the metal frame. 💯
Quite "teen" imo..
Nice bit of kit. While it's a bit big for my taste, I'm sure it'll tickle someones fancy.
arrg why didnt you put the rubber feet on straight lol
I do it for the comments. 🤣
You appear to be a strong supporter of Ukraine. But do you truly understand the history of the conflict from 2014. 🤔 If so then I would like to see a video of your reasons. ✌
Seems like you should make that video.
You have a video to make that excuses for the Ukraine invasion Boris?
Hi I have a Few Questions,
The white colour connecting wire strip for the GPIO Brindge, it keeps coming out from both end. Is that supposed to be that loose.
2) the micro sd card is not fitting inside and I’m afraid to put too much pressure on it. Does that work like same regular phones sd cards slots where it makes like a clipping sound as it goes in and to pull it out it required to slightly push in and it comes out with a clicking sound both times.
3) there’re 4 thermal pads, are there 2 spares or do I need to put the remaking on the raspberry pin right where the thermal top tower is fitted. Please note, if I only put two thermal pads on tower base and fit it on to P of pi I noticed there’s some space between the Towers thermal pad as well as raspberries processor. Is that space normal or do it need to put the thermal pads in the processor as well as tower and sandwich them so there’s no space.
Kindly address these concerns at the earliest possibility thankyou.
Mine isn’t loose, are you clipping it in correctly?
My sd slot is smooth click in and it holds, click it in again and it pushes out with a click
The thermal pads are as shown in the video. I don’t remember exactly
@@leepspvideo alright thanksie
Its compatible with pi 5?
No
what type of camera i can put in the case?
Not really inside the case. The slot is for a ribbon cable like the one in these videos

First the i2c-part had an undefined error.
apt-get full-upgrade of the system, re(ee)boot and reloading the repository solved that.
Now the display is still off, the led-stripe too, only the button seems to be working.
Kinda lost rn.
Any tips anyone?
What os are you using?
@@leepspvideo oh, thats right. could certainly be that. i'll try another one
Thanks for the nice review. Just placed my order. Discounted price USD63.99. Normal is USD79.99
My order arrived yesterday. It took me 1-2 hrs to assemble and install the softwares. Everything worked fine except it seemed to bring all my video and youtube playback to a standstill after 2-3 secs of play. I wonder why.
Just paid $78 for my 2nd, 03.20.23. 1st was same $64.
Did you try it with wireless peripherals and ssd connected at the same time...? I have a Microsoft keyboard connected to it and it seems that the voltage is not enough for the keyboard to work properly. Please help
I use a logitech wireless keyboard. It worked as normal

Lovely case but again the fan seems quite loud. The quietest one it seems is in the argon one case
this was a great case but my display now just constantly says Power Off any ideas?
If updating doesn’t work I would reflash the os
@@leepspvideo i have just reflashed the os and tried it on 64bit and 32bit versions of pi os? coincidentally the rgb isnt working either? I'm wondering if there is an issue since the last Couple of OS updates
power button also no longer working
I have sent support an email asking if they have any ideas, the only thing i can think of is that i updated to the latest eeprom so whether that has an effect on the script they supply.
Short video of issue here in case anyone else has any ideas ua-cam.com/users/shortsYDFFRrZc93U
Hiii
With Raspberry Pi's being pretty much unavailable to the public without paying scalper prices, I would imagine there is little interest in accessories.
Then again that situation will remedy itself sooner or later.
You imagine wrong.
Now a days is much easier to buy a case than a Rasberry Pi 4. It's like showing off a Lamborghini's great tire type, when no many of us will never own a Lambo.... 😞
Good product, for an unstinting market.
Hey, great video, Raspberry PI 4 are finally in stock again so i ordered a couple. When looking for cases i am stuck between this and the Argon ONE m.2. Would you recommend one over the other? Thanks for sharing :)
