  • "Ang belief namin, ang preparation mo for the #Bar begins in day 1 of law school. The reason we put up Legal Edge is to offer this kind of training to students who are not from the big law schools." - Atty. Yebra

Under the rules of court, if the action is personal the plaintiff's or the defendant's venue..but at the option of the plaintiff..kaya pwede pa rin xa mgfile at it's own option.

Attorney, is it true that Philippine law schools primarily focus on teaching students how to pass the bar exam by simply memorizing the criminal and civil codes? This assertion was made by a Filipina law professor at one of the top universities in North America. This Pinay professor is a graduate of Ateneo and completed her master's and SJD at Harvard. She also compared how cases are taught in the US and the Philippines. In the US, every case decided by the Supreme Court is discussed paragraph by paragraph, along with an analysis of how the judge arrived at the judgment. In contrast, in the Philippines, you can cover 10 cases in a single hour.
