Interior designer here! The limewash would be beautiful and add some much needed texture and dimension to the flat white walls. A picture light over the frame TV could also be a nice touch to make that archway feel like more of a cohesive and intentional composition. I would also suggest a neutral/simple table runner to give more coziness to the dining area if you’re feeling iffy about an area rug. Beautiful space though! 🤗
I would love a “sunscreen showdown” type video! Sunscreens especially for the face are so tricky and I’ve been really interested in all of these. Also the clipped up hair with the oversized shirt and chunky gold hoops is just my favorite look! So comfy but so cute Just got to the table portion of the video, i absolutely love it, the side board looking darker but in the same tone gives the room so much more dimension it looks awesome together

When we renovated our open area concept kitchen/dining room, I loved how we included a TV. It's great to watch while you meal prep or for casual eating at the island. I had a thought about brightening up the cabinet so it appears a little closer to the shade of the table. Add some wall sconces or overhead lighting into the archway so you get light shining directly onto that area. Also use the other side of the cabinet with shelves for storing glassware like whiskey glasses, cocktail glasses, champagne flutes, a cocktail shaker, bottle opener etc. So exciting!!

I'd say mirror, art or the frame tv like you were saying will make it beautiful. Maybe some wall sconces too. Gorgeous gorgeous. for the TV, i just saw a youtube video where a couple mounted their frame on an easel stand! super creative. so now they can move their TV all around into different rooms /stored away in a closet if you don't want it out. over the bar, i would actually recommend shelves with stem holders underneath. you can store your fancy stemware out. i collect colored vintage glasses so i love having them visible.
I LOVE the idea of a lime wash. I am not a fan of all-white houses but for a bit of visual interest, texture, and to highlight that beautiful arch in your style it would be perfect!

Hey just a tip on rugs! You can get any carpet made into a rug. Most carpet shops offer hemming services. So you measure the size you want choose the style and get it made. It’s way cheaper than a rugs. Am from Glasgow the rug size I needed were all costing £900 and I didn’t like them the carpet rug I got made was just under £150. Have a look and see what you think xxx

Beautiful table i think once the rug goes down and tvs up maybe a black lamp on the console table and maybe black pic frame the eye wont even notice the diff shades of wood, matchy matchy does'nt always looks good. The chairs , the table so lovely. Maybe also a big plant in the corner some green would look lovely.

I wouldn't obsess over the "illusion" of different shades of wood. It just looks that way because of the direction of the light. Lime wash is a good idea but if you put a Samsung Frame tv you can always switch it on to art mode so it will give a dimension to the white wall and you'll have the chance to switch paintings anytime you want.We did it in our living room as well. For the rug, I know you are going with the beige-creme theme but a washed-out red persian rug would be chef's kiss. For larger rugs, I'd definitely check Zara Home out. I love both pieces. Definitely don't get rid or return. Personally I would add the tv and leave the wall white. I would put two pieces of art either side of the arch in black frames to help tie in the chairs a little more. If you are struggling to fine a rug the right size I would just buy two of one you do like and see if that would cove the floor space you need? Xx

Not sure about the tv, but those with artwork options are so cute and if you feel you really need it, go for it! Here’s another idea- it would be cute to have some of the bar trinket decorations like vintage glasses and such on the cupboard, it’s always fun to see that in the bar area. 🤍🤍
Definitely get what you are saying with the woods looking different because the contrast isn't great enough to make it look intentional. It is a really nice sideboard, but would recommend finding an alternative. Also, a new piece would add another level of visual interest in your space and when you bring in a rug, it will tie it back in with the table.

A rug under the table is a PITA! Have you considered putting 2 Nine foot runners on either side of it? One in front of the side board and another between the table and the kitchen? It would soften the space and dampen sound, but still be easy to clean.

Beautiful table i think once the rug goes down and tvs up maybe a black lamp on the console table and maybe black pic frame the eye wont even notice the diff shades of wood, matchy matchy does'nt always looks good. The chairs , the table so lovely. Maybe also a big plant in the corner some green would look lovely.
I kind of like the way the light plays with the coloring of the furniture! Definitely seems frustrating but I think they look so good!

I wouldn't obsess over the "illusion" of different shades of wood. It just looks that way because of the direction of the light. Lime wash is a good idea but if you put a Samsung Frame tv you can always switch it on to art mode so it will give a dimension to the white wall and you'll have the chance to switch paintings anytime you want.We did it in our living room as well. For the rug, I know you are going with the beige-creme theme but a washed-out red persian rug would be chef's kiss. For larger rugs, I'd definitely check Zara Home out. The have beautiful kilim-like rugs there. Hugs from Istanbul!

for the rug! you can go to a carpet store and have one cut to size and then a boarder added .. a much cheaper solution and the correct size

I love the set up! I think limewash would look beautiful, however I think if you did a black like wash or black in general it would look amazing with the black chairs. Then you could do a light frame tv! I have a black wall in my dining room and it’s such a statement!

I love both pieces. Definitely don't get rid or return. Personally I would add the tv and leave the wall white. I would put two pieces of art either side of the arch in black frames to help tie in the chairs a little more. If you are struggling to fine a rug the right size I would just buy two of one you do like and see if that would cove the floor space you need? Xx

So happy that the table is hereeee! Actually, limewash is a great idea, it will bring more focus and depth to the arch, but also deliver the naturals vibes you originally intended! Not sure about the tv, but those with artwork options are so cute and if you feel you really need it, go for it! Here’s another idea- it would be cute to have some of the bar trinket decorations like vintage glasses and such on the cupboard, it’s always fun to see that in the bar area. 🤍🤍

Definitely get what you are saying with the woods looking different because the contrast isn't great enough to make it look intentional. It is a really nice sideboard, but would recommend finding an alternative. Also, a new piece would add another level of visual interest in your space and when you bring in a rug, it will tie it back in with the table.

A rug under the table is a PITA! Have you considered putting 2 Nine foot runners on either side of it? One in front of the side board and another between the table and the kitchen? It would soften the space and dampen sound, but still be easy to clean.
