@@StevieMcKenna10 Said well. I feel the same as I hope all the fam does. Been into Ink for many many years, and seeing them come this far in success but still make music that never lets me down... Perfect..
I like how in the bridge Spencer brings up how the old INK is a bit too scene for his liking, but let’s be real here, this song emulates a lot of Every Trick In The Book and Predator Becomes The Prey vibes and it’s a fantastic song! It really is! It really just broadens their sound and their vibe and I enjoyed this new single so much
My daughter grew up listening to Papa Roach, Jacoby was her first love. She used to watch scarred with me on MTV and she realized he was the lead singer of papa roach before I did because the music video for life line just came out and was being played on commercial break. She's 23 now and still gets happy and excited when she hears he's done something new.
The funny thing is, i indeed went to watch the movie after i listened to this song LOL. Hearing the song again after watching the movie hits differently, now that i know what they were referring to hahah Amazing song and amazing film
I found this by searching metal bands react and when you said you've opened for them I realise I was there at the time. I need to listen to more of you guys songs!
I haven't seen the movie, but when I saw this song and its title, I immediately thought of Huey Lewis and the News with "Hip to be Square", which had me wondering whether or not it was a parody or something. But, I listened to the song and its imagery was wondering to myself, "Is this based off of American Psycho?", and when the bridge hit and they changed the music up with the "Hip to be Square" sample, I was like "Okay, I get it now." Overall, great song.
Yes me too. Haven't seen American Psycho, but I realized that had to be what it was about. Also I'm a fan of Huey Lewis so I made that connection pretty quickly.
Never heard of you guys before but the "sjonge jonge" at the beginning told me all I needed to know! This fellow Dutchie will check out your music, but for now I'm going to check out this reaction to my favorite band!
The "jonge jonge" hahahaa😆 great reaction guys. Jacoby Shaddix, his part was the whole last chorus. What an amazing singer. The voices are similar but Coby is so underrated as a singer. During my teenage years I was a big fan of Papa Roach. And still one of my fav bands even now I'm in my heavy fase 20 years later. This also reminds me a bit of My Chemical Romance... A little bit of Escape The Fate. Groetjes uit België 😉

They did the key change because remember at the time of killing Paul he played Hip to be Square by Huey Lewis and The News.
I showed my partner this song and he said “it sounds like metalcore panic at the disco” and I can’t Unhear it now
Cant wait to see them again in september this new release just excites me so much more
Huey Lewis and the News "Hip to be Square" hence the name of the song

Took me a couple of listens to pull Jacoby's voice out of the song. Listening closely, you can hear him take over in the final chorus.

They put on a helluva show
I like how they added a part of the song it's hip to be square song, it's even the same rhythm.
They just dropped a video for Welcome to Horrorwood and it might their best yet, check it out my dudes! Should be your next video without question

That was the only way to reupload the reaction without the record label blocking the entire video unfortunately.
