it's weird, the Samsung SSD fixed it for regular PS4 but on PS4 pro it was there with the same SSD? It will probably be fixed. The gamecube trail edition the released before the original game had more slowdown than the final product so there is a chance the final PS4 version will be more optimized on release
@@TheRE4Channelit's beacuse capcom doesn't know how to optimize their games. On pc this happens if you have high textures 0.5gb (there are variants with the highest one being 8gb of vram usage) and this is supposed to stream textures via distance scaling meaning the more closer you look the better it loads wich is used to save resources, but capcom badly implemented it so it partially loads some assets at the desired resolution while the rest stays at low texture settings, the one that they are supposed to be when you are far away. Naw it's not only you.. I own a Playstation 4 pro without a SSD card & it is buggy throughout my playthrough.. the graphical performance isn't great.. this isn't the game system it's Capcom.. the need to send undated patches for the game.. even some PS5 users are experiencing this issue.. On the PS4 pro in certain situations it looks good & then it doesn't.. the background obstacles like foundation as in rocks, trees & surfaces buffers or looks pixelated like some PS2 graphics.. overall the game itself just suffers with performing the look it's capable of having..
@@jorvicerrabo02 maybe.. that's my ideal as well however Capcom should send updates to the game overall so that we Users won't have to face these issues.. However the playstation 5 should probably eliminate some of those issues hopefully..
I have a ps4 slim but the frame rate is crap on there. So i'm getting a ps4 pro and tbh, i don't really see any difference in framerate mode and resolution mode on the ps4 pro. I found out that framerate mode runs at 1080p at 30 FPS on pro and i probably will play RE4R on resolution mode at 2160p at 60 FPS. I don't wanna play this game at 1080p cause the slim runs at 1080p at 30 FPS as well and i actually wanna take higher screenshot image of Leon. I'll try both modes on this game and see if i noticed the difference.
Ps4 slim always runs at 900p with unlocked framerate. Ps4 pro runs at 900p when choosing framerate at almost 60fps, 1440p when choosing resolution mode with unlocked framerate too. Best way to enjoy this is jailbreaking a PS4 Pro, using 1080p forced patch and framerate mode, that way it runs at a nice resolution and between 45-55fps. Great experience
if you can get a cheap one I would say yes, there are improvements to texture streaming times with one installed and the same for other games besides RE4
Bro the ps4 pro shouldn’t have any problem running this game, it has DX 12 and 8gigs of ram and 8 cpu cores at 2.1 ghz everything besides ray tracing should run damn good! This is devolpers being lazy and only doing the best touches to ps5 for more expected future sales. (The ps4 pro) even today in 2023 can technically support games for another year without much difficulty. Now as for the base ps4 we’ll yes that’s definitely outdated!
There is no problem, the 30 fps are stable at least, in a few times they are somewhat unstable but if you talk about performance mode that happens in all PS4 Pro games, they do not reach 60fps Even lowering the resolution to 1080p, it stays at 35-50 most of the time in those games
I have Evil Texture Plop ins on my ps4 pro with ssd and it can be my ssd cause cyberpunk runs well (hardest was a big mountain looked like ps1😂) bute the rest is amazing love the remake

The difference between re4 and tlou part 2 is that naughty dog got 4 whole years of unlimited budget from sony working on that game and for ps4/ps4 pro only.
