0:48 _"We can't bring you back, can we?"_ _"You already did."_ The fact that Bruce wasn't just talking about the Flash going back in time to save him but also bringing him back as Batman one last time is just perfectly put.
He saved him by pulling his ass out of his cave and misery. Depressed that Gotham no longer needs him and Alfred's passing.
@@Jamestng315 I wish they explore more of that, such an interesting subversion of why the hero goes into retirement
@@madtitan0825 As Rachel Dawes said Bruce Wayne's face should be the one that criminals should fear
i think he was referring to another completely different thing, which is : the fact that somewhere a few seconds before his death in this scene they tell him that the alien ship or something was not going to blow up etc or something like that(cant remember exactly), making him switch his initial plan(in which he died the first time by exploding), so i think that due to his intelligence batman figured out he already failed and died prior so in this scene they effectively did "bring him back" already giving him a second chance but now he dies again so it's probably in his destiny to perish in this fight, whatever he does he will never make it, so he just accepts it now.
I know I mentioned earlier how Bat Keaton is fully restored and alive and well back in his Burton universe when the Flash mostly resets everything, but that would have made another good post credit scene if they showed an older Keaton in his study waiting for the bat signal to shine.
"Flash: We can't bring you back, can we?"

Thank you Sherlock for this insanely obvious insight.
❤❤❤❤❤
@@JhonathanMoranfr I thought the same😭😢
It was a gratitude towards Barry and a call out to the audience.
This movie is so frustrating for me, because for every moment of genuine brilliance there is a god-awful one right alongside it. For example, Keaton’s action scenes in this movie are nothing short of spectacular, genuinely some of the most well-choreographed and shot Batman action scenes ever, but they often come accompanied by some of the worst CGI I’ve ever seen in a big budget movie.
Exactly my feeling, well said !
Yeah, overall, this movie was kinda whack.
I can see that they cut the budget at the end of progress because they know that it will be boycott very hard. Some scenes look like unfinish cgi.
The movie is fun and there was potential for an even greater movie but the studio phoned it in. Metaphorically the whole movie feels like a big middle finger to the entire DCEU. I can’t help but feel like this movie was made with utter contempt for the IP and the aforementioned DCEU.
It’s like they knew this would be the final nail in the coffin therefore they made it the way it was (like a parody) at the expense of the audience’s expectations.
The execution in terms of editing, pacing and cutting is sloppy. The writing is also convoluted and pretentious. Despite this, the movie does have redeeming qualities.
Performances by Miller, Calle & Keaton make this movie as tangible as it possibly can be without imploding on itself.
The scenes featuring Barry and his mom elevate the material just enough to make you feel something, earnest moments that hit the right notes emotionally.
The action is good for the most part aside from the unfinished CGI and generic execution. I really detest that baby shower sequence. It looks off and took me completely out of the picture.
I really didn’t care for the Superman cameos either. That moment felt like a teaser for some unreal engine PS5 video game, yikes. Seeing Keaton as Batman was super cool though ngl. Zod and faora we’re utterly wasted, along with Batfleck who’s final performance as batman felt really OTT. Ultimately it’s a mixed bag for me, I enjoyed it overall but as a passionate fan of the superhero-movie-genre I was seriously expecting more. It felt like some important scenes were cut, maybe the director’s edition might help fill in those blanks. 6.9/10 for me.
@@master-of-mind5881 yeah there’s a lot to like. The action (when it isn’t smothered in bad cgi) is pretty great, especially Keaton’s fight scenes. Miller’s performance is great. There’s a strong emotional core. A lot of the humor works.
But man, the bad is REALLY bad. For every awesome Batman fight, there’s a god awful sequence like the baby shower bit or the deepfake cameo fuckfest at the end. For every genuinely funny joke there’s a super cringey one. And many sequences just feel downright unfinished.
It’s a shame. There’s a great movie in here, but WB didn’t seem to care enough to fully excavate it, and the result is just a bit of a frustrating mess.
we really need a Batman Beyond movie starring Michael Keaton. I don't want this movie to become his last appearance as Batman, he deserves better.
Unfortunately its not going to happen. The lackluster box office of this film threw a knife in a planned Batman Beyond film with Keaton
I'd be all for a Batman Beyond movie with Michael Keaton as the older wiser original Batman and a new younger talent as Terry McGinnis! Maybe WWE Superstar Austin Theory could play him he'd be a great superhero character
@@mgk22That’s unfortunate. Batman’s scenes were the only thing I liked about the Flash. I really think a Batman Beyond movie would do well with Michael Keaton as an elderly Bruce Wayne mentoring a young apprentice. Maybe give it another ten years, it will happen!
@@bratton79 but by then he’ll be in his 80’s and less inclined to do it. But if the new DCU continuity is successful maybe that will change their minds but again for most people especially the young Michael Keaton wouldnt resonate the same way as say Christian Bale would because hes more recent but who knows we’ll see but if a BB movie ever happens i doubt Michael Keaton will be brought back unfortunately
I hope so he deserves his trilogy
This scene symbolizes the entire movie. Noble effort, but in the end it couldn't be saved.

Yeah, he should have ran that way the entire film.
Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne loved being Batman. He was the most successful Batman, having actually saved Gotham. A Master combatant, which we finally fully saw in this film, he was able to hold his ground against multiple combatants and even a massive Kryptonian.
He’d have been amazing as a Batman Beyond Bruce Wayne/OG Batman. But as seriously sad as it was (I hate you James Gunn), he died a hero’s death and it is a very fitting death for him.

As much as I hate this movie, this is a much better send off for Batman than what they did in the new Suicide Squad game. This was, at least, honorable and sent the character out like a true warrior. Thats the one nice thing I have to say about this movie.
The moment was too much sad for me when I was in the cinema, and I was very frustrated! It is absolutely clear, that Michael Keaton's line is for us, his fans. When he says: -"You already did"-, the text has two sences:1) The two Barrys, in the movie, have motivated him to get out of his retired and depression. 2) The most important thing: Us, all the fans, have gotten put him back in his iconic role... So, he is talking to us. The message goes through the screen, saying thank you to the people who wanted to see him, playing Batman again. Michael is a legend, he is the only one! For ever and ever... As a DC fan, I can appreciate and respect the director’s decision for honoring past DC films. It really shows the love he puts in for us. It was a exhilarating movie and I can watch this many times I want.
They had to do something to make it interesting...
No. It felt forced, and out of place. It wasn't honoring, it was disrespectful to both the actors that worked on those movies (bringing them back to life in horrible cgi), and to the audience's intelligence. Dude, this proofs this Barry's lightning is stronger than Cw's. This lightning blew up a Kryptonian with an armor, but Cw's did nothing against a Kryptonian without armor.
Never realized this kryptonian was a literal giant maybe it was because of how well built superman is that we dont quite see the size difference
Apparently they can run so fast that they can't even evade some shatter glass 😂😂😂
They killed him for no reason. Absolutely criminal.
You mean James Gunn killed him off.....Henry cavil ,Sasha supergirl, Wonder Woman and Micheal Keaton all got cut from the very end of the movie and replaced with George colony smh it’s sad but I get DCs rebooting
@@zombiemaddness99It wasn’t James Gunn that made the decision to kill off Keaton, it was the director of The Flash movie who did. James is at fault for everything else though, but Andy is fully to blame for killing off one of the most iconic Batmen of all time in such a disgraceful way.
@@BMoneyYTB yea but he was coming back you know ?? He was at the end of the flash instead of George Clooney, the batgirl movie got cancelled and his scenes in Aquaman 2 got cut and all that was because of Gunn and David Zaslv
@@zombiemaddness99I see what u are saying. Now that u say that I really don’t know who made the decision to kill off Keaton. It really could’ve been either one, but I’d be willing to bet Andy had a part in that. But regardless, we can both agree that whoever made the decision made a really dumb move.
@@MASTERKENOBI909 That’s true but remember when the rock brought Cavil back he shot a cameo for both black Adam and the flash. That was after Discovery took over so the flash had 2 endings the one your taking about that leads to the cancel batgirl movie and when Discovery first took over which had cavil in it.Yea Ezra and momoa are trapped in the Batman and robinverse .

One of the few times he runs normally.
Technically he's not actually dead think about it after this Barry messed up everything so he prob came back. and they can go back in time so.
Did you...did u watch the movie?
@@viniciusgrosse1958 honestly they can bring back anyone
I guess Keaton‘s Batman didn’t actually die. When time was reserved, Barry never encountered Bruce. Maybe Bruce was still in his retirement.
Farewell to my favourite Batman.
Not having him and Supergirl in the new timeline feels like a robbery.
"Not this time, kid. Maybe some other time." Bruce's final words to Barry from both Affleck and Keaton. Bruce Wayne is consistent in the Multiverse.
A MI ME GUSTA MUCHO ESTA PELÍCULA, NO ENTIENDO EL ODIO HACIA ELLA, CREO QUE ES UNA MUY BUENA PELÍCULA
Malos chistes, malos efectos, un criminal como protagonista
It’s a flop
@@stickyfinga1. Debatible.
Anyone else think this Keaton was playing Thomas Wayne as this was flashpoint "Gotham has never been safer" because I went straight to shooting them.
its great watching micheal keaton as batman again.
Team Flash vs NAM-EK. Damn man can't even get kryptonian names right
"You already did". I luv tim Burton batman.
DCAU was op. We all want the flash who can rip anyone off wid his force. I still watch wally's flash beating the hell outta Luthor-Brainiac body again and again. Its so cool.
@@MASTERKENOBI909 💀i didn't talk about cw. Wonder why that came here. I don't even watch cw.
best keaton batman scenes. They should have just made him the batman that's in the universe comes back to like. OH SHIT keaton is batman in DCEU now. but no they went with shxtass ending.
PLEASE BRING BACK MICHAEL KEATON AS BATMAN !!!
How did he die actually? He was in good shape in the batwing, doing great against space giant, until he got thrown...but the throw wasn't violent. He took no damage. Bullsh scene.
Dude... he got thrown by a fucking Kryptonian, and not just any Kryptonian, this was the BIGGEST one from Man of Steel (Nam-Ek)
The regular batsuit wouldn't protect him from that so he died of internal damage (organ failure, internal bleeding)
Batfleck survived because his power armor was specifically designed to take as much punishment as possible from Superman + he had Kryptonite
I think the bombs that he planted on nam-ek blew too close to him and some shrapnel went through the neck piece of his suit. You can see him bleeding badly from there.
He is right next to 4 explosions. And then thrown by a kryptonian not holding back.
I'd even argue that Nam-ek was simply more annoyed than anything and wasn't using anywhere near his full strength.
It was an incredible feat for Batman, a human in peak physical condition given his advanced age, to hang as long as he did against him.
In Nam-ek's case, it was the equivalent of swatting away a pesky fly.
1:37 why couldn’t the running look like this since the beginning smh
The Danny Elfman theme when Batman dies... didn't notice that in the theatre
No!!!!!!😢😭
Michael Keaton acting, righteous he pulled this off shame he died in this f.. nak em 🦇💯✊🏽
Can somebody explain, the friends of younger Barry knew who Batman was (Keaton) which he where there in Wayne manor but it Gotham city didn’t match the Tim burton one? I just got confused by that..
After a full life of pragmatism, Bruce is having a great smile of joy and gratitude for taking rest at the side of a true friend, being him the one comforting Barry.
THOSE LINES. SOME OTHER TIME 😢❤ ofc anyone dies from a slam like that from a kryp BIGGER than superman
pretty wack that hollywood has an obsession these days with killing off characters. eg bond, Batman. No more riding off into the sunset? they just wanna be a trending topic for a day i guess?
Feel like this is been a good closure for Tim Burtons, Batman
