Islam is not a race and you should not be offended because someone disagrees with your opinion about God. But if he offended you because of your true race, then you have every right to feel offended, although feeling offended does not give you the right to retaliate. If they truly did offend based on race, then respond with kindness. You may or may not make a change in his/her heart, but you will none the less be the winner.

In other words, believe whatever you want, just don't follow those evil tenets of Islam that require you to use violence to get everybody else to submit to your beliefs as supreme.

My life reached a point of time where i decided to commit suicide...I was in soo much pain that can b understood only u were in my place...I quit the plan as soon as i read that committing suicide is haraam in Islam...I made up my mind to fight till my last breath as every day was a hell for me as i was suffering severely from extreme gastric problem...I began to understand the verses of quran during the bed writtern period...I was not able to eat/drink for nearly a year...i some times used to think perhaps tonight is the last day of life... i started watching the videos of Hazrat Ayyub a.s to understand the sweetness of sabr....Videos of mufti menk and noman sahab where of great help to me...I turned to Allah swt in such a way i never turned before...i cried in sujood every day and asked for healing...i begged him for the sake of my small kids to give me shifa (cure)...I learnt that Allah swt tests those whom he loves...i got an opportunity to get closer to my creator..had i not been affected i would have never changed my life for good... gradually allah swt gave me health and alhumd today i am much better...Pls pray that allah swt cure me 100%....Mufti menk played a pivotalnl role in my life...i learnt a lot from his lectures...Now whatever difficulty, tribulation, calamity befall me alhumd i am.soo calm...bcoz every moment is a test from Allah swt...In my hardship now i enjoy communicating with allah swt...alhumd allah swt made me a medium to help others and explain them the beauty of sabr when they r in tensed situations...I am incredibly thankful to allah swt for changing my life in these three years...and i beg allah swt to make me how he wants me to be...So my dear brothers and sisters no matter what befall u...health issues, wealth issues etc....tackle them with sabr...u cannot enter heaven without being tested and by just saying u have imaan...and the most soothing words...When allah swt loves u he tests u....Thanks for reading...May allah swt bless all of u.

My father is one of the best human being, you could ever meet, he has a lot of Sabr, he was healthy handsome and quite young suddenly heavy stroke paralyzed his leg and hand but my father said alhamdullah with everything and he is very happy with this destiny and life he is good example he always gives dua to us with every obstacle I see , I pass successfully because my father is very grateful to Allah that I am his child and showers me with happiness and prayers and love.

Salam alaykum.. brothers and sisters.. let's not call the non believers with bad names like 'stupid' and 'moron'. It's useless. I know we all want to defend our religion from such insults but it's better for us to keep quiet than say bad words. Dont bother arguing with the non believers. They won't accept the truth if all they have in mind is to insult Islam. No matter how much we give him information about Islam, if he refuses to accept the truth, it's useless. Just give information to those who wants to know the truth. It's not good to say bad words because Prophet Muhammad never say bad words to those who mock Islam. Its ironic how this video is about Sabr but most of us aren't patient enough when people mock our religion. Let us all remind each other of this. We are all insaan. Forgetful. The best advice for this occasion is to seek proffessional marriage counselling! And not divorce! You think you have sense! Yes Allah gave men the right for talaq but He also ordered them to use it only when its really needed! And not with the first or second difficulty! Is better we fear God and do anything to save our marriage inshallah!

I came across this lecture of Mufti Menk 10 years ago, I fell in love with his lectures and mashallah he is world famous now for many good reasons. At times of hardship Mufti Menk's videos helps me tremendously. Inshallah I hope to meet him one day. May Allah protect him and grant him Jannatul Firdous.
I have been tested, recantly with the sudden passing of my beloved husband late Sept 2023. I am listening to Mufti more and more. I am all over the place and in to pieces but only today with this message, I understand the tests of life by Allah. May Allah, my family and I including my beloved husband, pass our tests and be reunited in Jannah tul Firdaus al ola in a beautiful house and be happy forever. My late husband introduced Mufti to me as he really enjoyed his talks. Insha Allah. Amen ya Rub.

Just love and highly respect this brother. Although I am a christian, I follow him as his teachings really are beneficial to me/ to all, and not solely for the muslim faith. Even if we may differ in some of our beliefs, the message is pretty similar.. He has helped me understand a lot about the muslim faith, & how to be a better person & respect everyone regardless of beliefs. He has helped me draw even closer to God through his teachings which I listen to daily. I just love how his love respect and honour towards The Lord is. Quran Surah 2:190-194: Fight in the cause of Allah against those who fight you … and kill them wherever you catch them … if they fight you, kill them. Such is the reward of those who suppress the Faith…. And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah.
Quran Surah 2:216: Fighting is prescribed for you.
Quran Surah 2:244: Fight in the cause of Allah.
Quran Surah 4:74: Let those who fight in the cause of Allah, who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter, to him who fighteth in the cause of Allah…. Soon shall We give him a reward of great value.
Quran Surah 4:89: If they turn apostates, seize them and kill them wherever you find them.
Quran Surah 4:91: Seize them and kill them wherever you get them.
Quran Surah 5:33: The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and his apostle … they shall be slaughtered, or crucified, or their hands and feet shall be struck off alternately, or they shall be banished from the land.

Ahhh you take verses out of context. Please know your own religious book first, and then pick out much of the same things as well. When reading the Qur'an.. start in the beginning and do not skip around. If you need a better understanding of what you are reading.. I suggest to read instead The Noble Qur'an. There you will find explanations in greater detail. It is best not to assume, because of not understanding what you are reading. May you be guided in a good way, dear Robert!
