Looking back at this 9 years later, 2K14 not only had the best lighting in the series, but the best jersey details in a basketball game right next to Live '06 on the 360 (imo).
You can see the wrinkles and mesh on black jerseys easier here than you can in later games.

I know their faces looked very realistic, but what impressed me the most was when kobe saw the ball got turned over, look at the way he was running. That is exactly how you run when that happens. Also they nailed the little details like lebrons expression right after the dunk and when he was dribbling you can tell he's looking to pass and watching for people that are open. Just amazing.

Nah man, I was in high school when 14 dropped and was WAAAY more hype when 14 dropped. 21 still has me pretty hype not gonna lie, but I can already point out so many flaws in the trailer, where as 14s next gen reveal was pretty much flawless

I bought this game before the PS4 even actually released, played it until I got bored of it, then traded it back in before the Gamestop value dripped.
Still come back and watch these vids every now and then. Just think back to what NBA 2K6 looked and played like vs NBA 2K13 on PS3. Imagine that level of improvement from THIS video.
