    3 things learned from watching this video
    1. little thing matters: "all those little things you can always see significant improvements"- Michael Phelps
    2. goal-setting, planning, connecting: "The main thing I can do to inspire my athletes is to help them set exciting goals and come up with a plan to reach those goals and then tie what they do to practice those goals."- Bowman
    3. always delivering top quality: "Being a professional coming in everyday doing your top quality of work even though you don't feel like it."

    I've been teaching for nearly six years and I always say that I can teach anyone how to swim better. I really think that there are things that each person can do to improve their form, even Olympic swimmers. How can I become a coach of this level?

    read jeahforlife's comment. although it is quite difficult to tolerate the grammatical errors he makes, cvoong tried to correct him but said literally the exact same thing. he said "sideny when he was 15 athens when he was 19 beijing when he was 23" he misspelled "sydney" which really kills me but he wasnt wrong

    michael has the perfect body for swimming, won millions already, did two olympics now he has one more game and then what, well, maybe another olympic since it is so easy for him and swimming has been so good to him. But again he is a cancerian, a total lover of bodies of water. He is at home in a swimmimg pool.

    I don't think we need you to describe what it's like to see someone win eight gold medals, we were all watching the same show.

    • @CarlsCozyCorner
      @CarlsCozyCorner 2 роки тому +2

      But he was behind the curtain for years putting the show together, *that's* the difference.

  • @fleetfoot86
    @fleetfoot86 14 років тому +1

    @Underpricing It's not sad, its actually a great tool for him to use. Michael will admit that he hasnt been practicing as he should and now its starting to show. Now that nationals are over he will take this experience and use it as fuel to push himself to be better. I'm sure he's going to put on a tremendous show in London!
    BTW, dont think Michael losing that race is just because he is out of shape. Ryan Lochte is an amazing swimmer and he deserves alot of credit
