wanttoliveyoungforever Your stroke is probably really bad. You are also probably very unfit. People who swim for a sport often swim around 5 km a training session, 10 times a week or so.
swimming long distance is really not difficult...reducing beat kicks (4 beat kicks each breath), taking long strokes with slow speed, only swim like a sprinter in the last 100m. That's my experiences. in every summer, I swim about 12km/week (4 days per week)-3km each day ( swim 1500m 2 times each) :D. I know I am able to finish 5-10km each time but it take too much time.
theterminator308 Thank you so much. I will train harder. Yes I am quite unfit for that long, or maybe my breathing teachnique isn't correct. Because i get exhausted easily..
You know Sun Yang is in a class of his own just by looking at how much reserve he keeps in his legs compared to everyone else, and he still led the whole way.
His breathing pattern before and after turn is very interesting! Tried this and it apparently works pretty well for people with favored one side breathing. You turn to the other side just for one breathe for that extra oxygen then back to normal rhythm with your favored side.
+Berkan Cevik Sun got 2 gold medals in 2012 for Men's Freestyle 400m and 1500m, both OR and WR respectively. Then he took the supplement in 2014 so his glory in 2012 will never be invalid. There is no evidence Sun took that supplement before the Olympic Game in London 2012, much like there is no evidence Hackett, Thorpe, and Phelps took that supplement. Oh wait, Thorpe wore his tights that covers all his body, which decreases coefficient of friction which is malicious for only his wearing it and Sun's supplement was affirmed by WADA later. WADA is the top of medical science and sport science, and no body can challenge them. Nobody can say it is political negotion because even Russia with more political power was ejected off truck and field. 3:49 Sun Yang was prepared for the siren so when the referee said something other than the siren, Sun was prepared to dive as soon as he heard a noise. Usually this never happens but im glad he got another chance
Qiuyuan Chen Wat do you mean with that calculation it makes no sense at all to me? I think you want to say that he dont need to swim so many strokes becouse he is tall. But I still dont understan the calculation. Anyway Its about arm span and shoe size and not how tall the person is. But tall persons more often have a bigger shoe size and wider armspan and thats why the reason why the best swimmers often is tall. But even if you calculate that it still makes no sense becouse its also about the body position and stroke technique. That can affect the number of strokes a lot.
The Arm span is almost equals or longer than body length which is common for swimmers. Thus each one of two stroke would give him a full body length of traveling or a bit more than that.
@@elasticpotato2974 i thought it was 3 years and tbh the accusation was a bit fishy. The ppl checking his blood were not following protocol. amazing how this event has evolved in the past years. Kieren Perkins' 1500m win in 1992 at the Olympic Games in Barcelona was a 14:43 and the personal best of the swimmer in Lane 8 is a 14:45! Incredible!!!
Paul Biedermann's 2009 tech suit 200m 1.42.00 WR last 50m: 25.70s
Sun's textile suit 1500m last 50m: 25.68s and he only started sprinting for real with like 40m to go. :O

The rythm of his stroke is unbelivable.😍👍
he had the stamina to thrash around in the water after 1500 m?WOW.

@@RoPo2005 as a swimmer when you do an intense race and you're very proud of it you feel less pain, imagine winning the olympics. Even tho he uses drugs, he has to work hard at the pool too, moreover he's not the only one doping in the olympics :)
jeez. there isn't a single air bubble coming off of his hands. That's how you know he's got an extremely efficient stroke.

wonder how much the googles fog over after a 1500
+Eric Chen gogles fog when factory coating gets worn out or damaged. In that case, you can apply 1 drop of anti-fog liquid, and there will be no fog for the whole day.
Every time coming out of water I apply quite a bit of soap water on both sides of the goggles, wash most of it off but leave some remaining on the goggles to protect the surface. I've got no fogging problem at all.
I just lick them... And that works ...
Super Noodles me too hahah
He probably has high quality anti-fog goggles for the Olympics 😂
Its so moving to see him crying. No one knows how much he had to do to get this far... Technically he is superior, he strikes slowlier and less but was still faster, and that saves much energy for the end race.
Sun swims very wisely by maintaining his 4 beat kick which is really energy saving and only switching to 6 bk in the last 100 meter to sprint and give him an advantage over his competitors 😊 👍

He was using doping that’s why.
Doping is a drug that you use before an game so that you’ll automatically perform better

Me too. Unbelievable. WHat's gone wrong with our swim?
an aussie announcer mentioned off-hand that sun yang swims up to 100 km (62+ miles) A WEEK! we will always be hobbyists compared to legends like sun yang, grant hackett, oussama mellouli.
wanttoliveyoungforever Your stroke is probably really bad.
What's crazy is he came home faster in the last 50, in a 1500, than Paul Biedermann did in the 200 in Rome with the super suits.

You know Sun Yang is in a class of his own just by looking at how much reserve he keeps in his legs compared to everyone else, and he still led the whole way.
Sun Yang got one of the best techniques in my opinion.. so awesome !
His breathing pattern before and after turn is very interesting! Tried this and it apparently works pretty well for people with favored one side breathing. You turn to the other side just for one breathe for that extra oxygen then back to normal rhythm with your favored side.
Please elaborate
Sun Yang - beautiful energy conserving kick technique.
HE IS TRULY THE KING OF 1500M
he was doping...
In 2016 he finished 16th (without doping.)

+Naman Mathur well, he still got gold in 200m freestyle, so he isnt like seriously injured.
Well he got food poisoning during his last few days at Rio. It was on the news maybe not on the American media
It is Horton, Joshua and Palmer that shall be investigated once for any conspiracy.

he is 1.98 I say, so that gives out 50/1.98=25.25, Which I would say a balanced even stroke in which to be more energy saving for the final sprint.

Ur supposed to have 2 officials from the olympic committee but one of the ppl checking sun yang was not from the committee. Sun yang noticed this and asked to check his work card showing that he was part of the committee and naturally the person didnt have one. Sun yang called his lawyer and his lawyer told him to not let the “officials” take his blood sample. This part is kinda weird: sun yang told them not to use the blood sample, to destroy the sample and take a new one with actual officials there. He would not let them test it until there were 2 officials present. Pretty normal. Then i assume there was some conflict or smt because he destroyed the bag and obviously it seemed like he was hiding smt so he got banned for three years. He could’ve appealed but his lawyer is pretty bad so he didn’t tell sun yang about appealing.
