I have been leaning butterfly for 4 Months now and keep on coming back to this amazing video, the style is so so so beautiful and powerful at the same time. So motivating. Thanks!❤
I've been trying to watch and learn Butterfly since a month, but couldn't get a video that could explain and show this clearly. This is the best. Now I'm confident that I'll master this technique. I wouldn't mind treating the swimmer and the narrator after I've mastered this technique.
TortueGenial1000 Patience, focus and dedication will surely give you the desired results. I'm in the same situation as you. I'm sure I'll master it one day.
It's easy to learn the technick of the legs with a mermaidtail for beginners after a half month u will know the whole technick but u still need the arms ur arms only ne3d to be straight and relaxed
Thank you for posting. I wish I had come across this a year ago when I was forced to teach myself this stroke. I managed to figure out a form of it that gives me decent propultion, but now can use this video to locate deficiencies in my technique.
L❤️ve the way the video breaks it down completely as you can watch every aspect of technique while you listen. Timing of kick and body position KEY to butterfly . This was a Very GOOD Teaching tool . You should watch it over snd over and over , studying every little detail then go to the pool and try it !
Oh god, the way she moves. It is just utterly extraordinary. Love this vid, and love the swimmer. I taught myself to fly via you tube and watched hundreds of clips here, no other swimmers are able to swing hips on the stroke part like she does. ADORABLE.
Such a beautiful/elegant stroke when performed by experts. I could never do it and, hilariously, it was only when with the benefits of youtube and seeing underwater video that I realised it was actually 2 kicks per stroke. Makes all the difference. Haha. This is one of the best for me for seeing the whole stroke underwater and for your clearly explaining the different phases. Thanks very much.
I have been watched this video since last year and I can do it now and I was so happy..... Thanks a lot for you Mekay...... I am from Indonesia...... Now I am still learning backstroke technic...... God bless you.... Never give up..... Always...always....practice.... That's the point to be succes.......
Oh yeah--I love this clip. It provides a great review. I remember great tips each time I view it. Thanks! I notice that the swimmer's head extends during the non-breathing stroke as well as during the breathing stroke. Makes me wonder if I do that when I breathe every other. I'm really old (57) and I hope I can do this stroke for a few more months, even if not as well as this youngster. It helps me to mentally rehearse from push-off to wall-touch before each length. I hope eventually to "fly" 50 yd before imploding--my new year's res.
this is a much better butterfly stroke video, I have watched other videos, some even showing a so called " perfect butterfly" but it looks worse than this. This is much better, I can see the body is gliding nicely like a wave through the water. Its not perfect but its better than other videos I have watched on youtube. It's good enough..
natural rhythm and timing which is very important especially breathing coordinations. I've watched this few times ...it is very similar with Michael Phelps' style.
This is really great butterfly. But when your hands leave the water your finger tips should be touching your belly button. If you keep swimming with your arms going all the way around it may damage your shoulders. It's also faster to swim the other way.
Thanks a lot for this awesome video! I have watched it so many times and the swimmers are absolutely amazing. btw, the lady swimmer must have magical butterfly power that her cap change colors ;-). I guess one day when I swim as well as her, my cap will turn colors too...hehe.
It looks good but it isn't fast. I watched Phelps technique and just 3 days practice I finally learned and I am swimming really fast. Butterfly is the most awesome stroke, I must say.
I still learn butterfly... I think, i need to move my neck more (up and down)... Because some time I have to put more power to break the water for breathing (wasting energy). Thanks for the video... This girl movement is so fluid... I feel envy (for good).
it's 2023.. and still one of the best educational videos of butterfly swimming in youtube.. thanks for sharing
Her stroke is beautiful, very nice :)
agreed
very very MOST beautiful !!!!

butterfly is the coolest but hardest

Absolutely gorgeous style. Elegant, full of grace. Kudos.
You're extremely gay
prettiest stroke i've ever seen, and the best video on the butterfly so far.

WOW! How beautiful! Look at her wave!

She is so good
She swims like a Dolphin... :) 👍
Yes, she does. A lot of practice for sure.
you want a six-pack? this is the right stroke.
August Spiro thats a fact
Wow. I should practice this.
why? don't see the relation
@@Jaburu it is so difficult and also really works out your abs
Just amazing!!!
I have been watched this video since last year and I can do it now and I was so happy.....
Thanks a lot for you Mekay......

I'm doing it and I'm 85+.
Wonderful butterfly stroke from this lady. I'am already learned 3 another stroke now I still Learning butterfly stroke, but it not easy for me.
wonderful, helpful, yes! the most beautiful butterfly video. thx!!!

+rio20d if u are watching videos on how to learn butterfly, what makes u think u even know what a "perfect" butterfly is?
natural rhythm and timing which is very important especially breathing coordinations.
I've watched this few times ...it is very similar with Michael Phelps' style.
She makes it look so easy but when I tried, it's so hard
yes it takes a lot of practice and strengthening.
Game Prism yes... sometimes mouths of practice
❤
really nice... and powerfull
Beautiful~~~~♥
Great intructional video - Well done!
Beautiful!
This video is the best of butterfly swim I have ever seen.
her cap changes sometimes. sometimes its black, sometimes its white
Halynne Lamontagne it was trying to tell you it is also important to learn to change cap during swimming butterfly
very helpful movie. i watched it more four times, I love swimming. thank you!
it's been said many times .. black people can't swim .. except this chick she can do butterfly.. and she's actually pretty fast too
I m black and was one of the fastest among white folks...
Stereotypes eh some people say black people arnt intelligent to and all have small calves list goes on, but there usually a certain type of person....
Best butterfly tutorial I've seen brilliant job!
One of the best butterfly video...
Very beautiful 💕💕
It is the best technique butterfly training video I have ever searched up in u2!
That is a beautiful stroke!
Wow she is really good! My arms are propably not strong enough but I will try to do only legs. Thanks for upload!
This looks hard af.
The swimmer has a beautiful technique!
2:58 It doesn't look like the guy in the other lane is moving forward at all
This is really great butterfly. But when your hands leave the water your finger tips should be touching your belly button. If you keep swimming with your arms going all the way around it may damage your shoulders. It's also faster to swim the other way.

Great technique, she's fabulous. Could someone tell me who the girl in the video is?
I think they're just wondering whether the girl in the vid is an accomplished swimmer (Olympic team, pro, etc.)
Sara DC that’s Alia Atkinson, A Jamaican swimmer. She specializes in breaststroke though.
Olivia Marker what’s creepy about wanting to know a swimmer’s name?
beautiful, extraordinary
I can't swim worth crap, but the woman in this video makes it look so easy.
it is easy. If you've practiced all your life haha
Don't feel bad my friend. It takes a lot of time, patience and swallowing half of the pool water to learn this stroke xD
I've been there.
@@jamesambrocio haha, this encouraging. I drank 5 liters of pool water each way
Now it is 2024. and It still be the one of the best fly education. thumbs UP!
Beautiful butterfly form!! The dolphin kick instruction starts @ 02:46 approx. The Comments below are helpful too. Thanx for posting this.
inspiring, such cool butterfly style!
This is the most perfect butterfly video i've ever seen.
Excellent is the word best describes her strokes.
It looks good but it isn't fast. I watched Phelps technique and just 3 days practice I finally learned and I am swimming really fast. Butterfly is the most awesome stroke, I must say.
You must have timed her right? You copied Phelps style so that must now make you faster then her right lol?
This is old school Butterfly, the chin should stay neutral as much as possible and the hips should not go up and down and described in the video.
I still learn butterfly... I think, i need to move my neck more (up and down)... Because some time I have to put more power to break the water for breathing (wasting energy).
Thanks for the video... This girl movement is so fluid... I feel envy (for good).
it`s not your neck. you need to work on your dolphin kicks and maybe you're pulls aren't strong enough neither.
Thank you.... I have watched this video several times... really helpful.....so deep analysis...
her stroke is so smooth and she swims fast
her butterfly is perfect omg
thank you love the vid. i really wanna master butterfly stroke it's to me the most difficult of all
she sure moves her head a lot. wonder if she would be even faster by staying aligned throughout.
I don't think so. Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/EdhYWJEyojs/v-deo.html
Lovely grateful and fluid movement from a lady. Great video
Perfect
This girl has the smoothest butterfly i have ever seen
The best video on youtube explaining butterfly .thank you
Linda!!!
