I know I quit lost ark since a while back but.. even lost ark had me hooked and I had a blast and it felt “new” in the beginning.. but this Diablo 4.. I can’t stomach even logging on to it sadly. And i want this to do well and it probably is for the casual normies but not for me… and if your gonna tell me my char was prolly trash.. I got a rogue to 70 within 3-4 days.. got boring and felt pointless to grind the game.
Same. I was really hooked on Lost Ark until the end when it got really frustrating, but glad to let it go (about 1100 hours). D4 has been an overall disappointment for me. D2 was a great game for its time (20 years ago), but I've moved on. D3 (RoS) introduced a lot of great new ideas and mechanics that brought it up to modern standards and replayability, and that was 10 years ago. D4 has gone back to D2 and progressed it about 5 years, but in some ways, its worse than D2 even, with the lack of unique items. For those of us who have played D3 and some of the seasons, going to D4 feels like a step back in a lot of ways. Visuals, music, sound, are all great and modern. Design however, feels painfully dated.
For any other game that can hold my attention for 130+ hours, it's a great game. For Diablo, it's a disappointment.

Just off the top of the dome for something extra they could of added into the game which woulda made d2 and Diablo fans in general bust a nut how about you also get a rare drop item that drops where it takes you on a quest through d2’s rivers of flame and you fight your way through to the hellforge and this time you get to actually imbue your weapon with a malignant soul stone which altars its appearance giving it a gushing blood or ghastly ooze dripping glow and you get a selection out of three random abilities on your skill tree to enhance them further in interesting ways and the replayability is built in cuz the three skills that show up are randomly generated so you’d have to farm it a few times to get the skills you’d want for your build..

The season I predict will be fun for a little while, but the same thing will happen for a lot of dedicated players around levels 70-85ish. They'll get bored because there are no significant changes in the gearing or progression.
I honestly don't think that it's only the activities that's holding D4 back, it's the feel you get when playing. Loot, gear, and making your character stronger in tangible ways is exciting and can keep players invested. D4 is severely lacking in that department.
Do you feel like the 1% of players playing endgame should supercede the 99% that aren't as far ahead as the streamers and powergamers? I think the gem system is moronic compared to Diablo 3. Nothing should be level based for crafting. I think having only 4 slots in inventory is moronic. I find that you can make all these level 100 characters with the best gear and not really be able to do much with them. Wouldn't you like to take them into a raid with your friends anytime you wanted to instead of waiting for a world boss that spawns twice a month? (sarcasm) You can have a roster of level 100 characters that you can't do anything with and what good is that? It's a collection worth nothing. Devs need to start listening to the other 99% of players.

I'm just really sad about all this colored sockets. This is really bad part of gearing in PoE and thank god - they gonna get rid of it, yet Blizzard took this idea over. Can't wait for those moments when you drop something cool, something you need - with socket of different color lmao

If they dont overwork the new Gems which are coming, this game is for sure dead. people dont want to farm their BiS Gear over and over again to get the right color for it. We dont have any kind of relevant Endcontent and this it? Thats Endcontent for them? To let us our BiS Gear farm over and over again? This dogshit idea?!

best to return to lost ark the real arpg xD D4 is the casual game. no endgame uninstall after lvl 100. new story is cool though ^^
