Thanks for the comparison! I just received the X-Large one, and was surprised it seemed so big, but I must’ve used a smaller travel one growing up. I was worried it was too big to play with, but feel better about it since you said it wasn’t something you’d really notice. Thank you!
the thing you said you don't know what it's for is a recorder to tell you what "round" you're in. You'll get an extra fan (point) if you pong that particular wind during that round. 2 points if it's also your seating position. If you don't play by points (fan), then it's useless.
It would help a lot if you said what the dimensions of the tiles are in mm or inches.
That yellow thing that you never used before is the round wind indicator the green thing is the seat wind indicator for east.
The sze of the magnetic tiles used must defend on what the automatic mahjong table can properly hold
I only know how to play mahjong patience and riichi mahjong so I have never understood what the dice are used for but I do know what the rolling wind is for. It always amazes me how many different styles of mahjong there are to play. I suppose it makes sense that people have always enjoyed playing games.
The dice are used for in person and that is how you decide where the wall is broken from. You start with the dealer and count the number of sheats represented by the dice total. (you start with the dealer and count goes counterclockwise)
Each player rolls the dice, and the highest roll becomes "East" the dealer.

This guy is obviously an amateur If he doesn’t know the wind indicator he is not a serious player. Also size does matter. The difference is major when it comes to shuffling and stacking.
You got that right the jumbo tiles you can put together a row and another with it and easily pick it up and make the wall in just 10 seconds or less.
Size matters. Bigger is better 😂😂. It feels better when you hold and feel the tiles in your palm.
The thing you don't know is to determkned prevailent wind.
How much is the small size
Would have been nice to see two of the same tile next to each other to see which one is easier to see for vision impaired choice
Absolutely useless comparing tile size with a quarter. Size measurements (length, width, height) in centimetres or inches is required) to make an informed decision!

My advice is to go to Chinatown in bigger cities and take a look yourself. For me, bigger is better. Yes, size really matters. 😂😂😂

Why bother making reviews on Chinese MagJong sets when you obviously don't play Chinese MahJong?
Chinese MahJong uses mainly betting sticks (for the rare outside of Asia who actually bet) instead of chips. And the little doohickey is simply a wind tracker. Did you notice it pictures the same 4 characters you can find on the 4 wind tiles?
