During lasik eye surgery, I had mono vision applied. That is one eye set for distance and one for reading, I was 49 years old at the time. My correction before was -13.5 and when finished I had 20/20 vision. To this day I still do not need glasses to get by during a normal day. I do have driving and other corrective glasses made that darken to make life more pleasurable. When the follow up Dr. ask me how the mono vision was working out, I told him that my brain had successfully rerouted it's synaptic pathways. He said that was correct and ask me where I had learn that. I told him that Data on Star Trek did it done about every third episode. I'm 71 years young now and getting younger by the day.
I was an electronic tech before I retired and to keep busy, I started to make wine. I live in the Lodi, Ca. AVA where the most grapes are grown in the country. I reinvented my self and now make Gold Medal wines. The judges at the competitions tell me so. So your brain cells can rewire themselves until they cannot replicate any longer.

    - Children are ACTIVE LEARNERS, NOT PASSIVE- And THAT'S why the current conventional teaching method in schools is horrendous. There's nothing good about sitting, writing and listening silently for 7 hours every day. Kids need to be active in school classes, standing up and not sitting, moving their hand and not just their fingers to write.
    May the change will come.

How many students graduate from high school but cannot explain what NET WORTH is? Who decides what information/knowledge is worth learning? Putting up with teachers who expect one to memorize boring garbage that is obviously useless is an extreme pain.

Instead of explaining how and what the brain is and does, I want to know why? We think to live, and ignore death. But in death there's life too. We just don't think of it. No one wants to die. However, our dreams help see this world of death during life span. I had several dreams of death. Hard at times to wake up. Struggled really. But it has its purpose. Now we have memory, and subconsciously aware of the surroundings. Something physical is totally different from an energetic world. The brain is the door way for color and light stores what's going to be needed in death. Sad and crazy. I know. But I'm not going to think only the things in life, it's also death. I believe death is the same life like a dream. That's why I believe dreams prepare us all for life after death. Do you believe in Jesus? If you do, then you know that Jesus died and resurrected. If His flesh, blood, and bones can do that! So can we. We have that Gift as well.
