    Thank you for making these videos, offering my humble opinion here as new learner: I find your previous videos' format easier to follow and understand, I am able to compare and relate the English sentence to the Hakka one as they are spoken consecutively. Thanks for inserting captions into this video, I'd be lost without them☺️👍

      Will keep this in mind. To be honest, I've never heard any Hakka folktales first hand from my grannies or dad.

    Do you speak cantonese? If you do, can you do a video where you say sentences side by side? Thanks by the way, I'm learning Hakka to speak with my inlaws and I'm learning alot from your channel!

    I am Cantonese but I am surprised that I understand 90% of this monologue!!!
    Lexixon (vocabulary) & grammar (sentence structure) is 95% the SAME as Canto.
    It's only the phonology (pronunciation) that is different.
