please react to Mohammad Rafi's songs❤️
Please react to Shankar Mahadevan's 'Breathless' song. It's a master piece in Indian song history!!!
Mohammad Rafi song " Din dhal jaye" Masterpiece song of 20th centuary
We still sing most of these songs to this day. So we have a lot of respect for them. They can never be forgotten.
OMG!! You're a directioner and a into old songs??
@@anoushkapandey5744 Yes absolutely.
So true...
Just thinking about them gives me goosebumps for some reason..
Utmost respect to them🙏
Same as me ☺️ love one d and old Bollywood
Notice how Lata Mangeshkar started singing in the 1940s and continued into the 2000s. She is currently in hospital with Covid. Let's pray for her recovery 🙏 ❤
What? OMG, I hope she will come out of it. 🙏🙏
Oh God! I didn't knew about that I hope she get well soon and we get good news of her recovery
Video is little injustice to Lata ji...she didnt stop in 2000...she went to sing for kareen preita zinta Rani Mukherjee as well...
@@tony-pc4kd her last playback was in 2015 for film ""Dunno Y 2... Life Is a Moment '""
@@MsArijitdas oh my god that lady is a treasure 😭😭😭
What's even crazier is that Asha Bhosle and Lata Mangeshkar are sisters lol. One family won almost all the awards for decades.
"Lag ja gale" and "aap ki nazaron" are the songs which you analyse , you'll never able to decode such perfection.these are beyond human understanding, such great godly art.
Lata mangeshker started in 1940s and sung till 2000s. what a career she had. living legend and to be fair, greatest indian female singer of all time.
She had also sung veer zara song... tere liye hum hai jiye...
Congratulations guys, we went from "kabhi kabhi mere dil me khayal aata hai" to "haye garmi". (Slow claps ಠ_ಠ)
So on point man, even from lag jaa gale to "coca cola tu"
I feel really sad why Manna Dey is so underrated, even in comments no one is talking about him😔
Exactly:( ...but fans like us will always appreciate his contribution.
I think you should react to great legend SP BALASUBRAMANIAM he has done songs in many different language kannada,Hindi etc you should definitely react to them
It's a humble request 💖💖
True that ❤️
Yes he is truly a legend
Lata is our Queen Of Bollywood Music, I'm only 20 years old and I never even visited India as I live halfway around the world, but these songs remind me of my childhood as I grew up with Bollywood Music thanks to my parents. A deep love and respect for Bollywood is embedded in my heart and soul. It's part of who I am.❤💯

Do try SD Burman. If you listen to him you will get to see how Kishore Kumar was able to sing in such a nasal voice in some songs like paanch rupaiya bara aana.
9:03 the actors in this song are of the same family (Amitabh Bacchan his son Abhishek and Daughter in law Aishwarya ❤
I’m only 18 but I still listen to the oldies every single day ❤️ they have a special place in my heart
Kishore kumar songs are og of all time. ❤️❤️🥺🥺
hahaha "dude I've been around"! I love your honest reactions. You so eloquently speak your mind an observe everything.
So your question- when the test of indian music changed.
Being 90s teen - I have seen 80s music being more series and concentrated towards family oriented films. Then around 95 came the so called "indi pop", which is more of a single/album song. The very famous "made in india" by Alisha Chinoi took over the music and started whole new ear of than called "pop" song where singers started releasing albums. "90s pop songs" is still listen these days, singers like KK, sonu Nigam, lucky Ali, Alisha Chinoi, shan, Bombay viking, colonian cousins, Junoon, Euphoria.
Because of the success of those music the trend also continued to film music as well.
BTW, those were the days when internet was not there and music was expensive. We used to noted down songs and buy blank CDS/tapes and get it recorded from friends or from music stores. Or hunt for whole album from stores.
Music love was expensive those days. Each CD would cost 200-400 rupees which is expensive before 25 years.
Please react to 'lag ja gale' and 'tera mera pyaar amar' these two are just amazing songs other golden era songs are amazing too but these two are one of the most magical songs you'll know when u hear them😊😊😊
i am very happy because u r know better than us our culture
i am very emotional
i love your video
love from india
I know old songs because of radio and when i was kid i used to say pls change these old songs but now i know the meaning of those old songs and now old songs make me cry
I love the music from 1960.... I mean after 1960... Seriously... Those songs are just so fine... Even without much instruments and technology they created such beautiful song.. we had beautiful voices then, we have them now also but to those songs... No competition...❤️❤️
songs from the late 40s to early 80s are of great essence
Justin I have said this before also that you need to start reacting to KK songs. He is the legend India has produced. You can hear his glimpse while you were listening to year 2007.
KK is such a brilliant singer and you could feel the emotions he put in his songs..definitely should react to one of his songs
I loved this evolution of Indian songs.... ❤️❤️ Love from India ❤️
Thanks for reacting to this Justin sir.
Loved this. Mohammed Rafi was the king when it came to providing a voice for the heroes of films - he had an amazing ability to make modifications so as to suit a vast variety of actors. Totally unparalleled.
Of the ladies, clearly Lata is Queen but Anuradha Paudwal is an absolute gem from the 1990s. An incredible voice at her peak, it's a shame she didn't reach the prominence she deserved. Possibly controversial, but I'd place her above Alka Yagnik in vocal quality and dexterity.
Udit Narayan is another of my absolute favourites (one of the voices of my teen years...totally ageing myself now 😁).
Don't forget Hemant Kumar and Manna Dey. Their voices were unique but still suited to every hero. For example Mohammed Rafi is known to be the voice of Shammi Kapoor but still songs like ae dil ab kahin le ja(by Hemant Kumar) and yalla yalla dil le gayi(by manna dey) matched with the style of shammi Kapoor. Similarly Rafi was more suited as the voice of Dev Anand but still we see that kishore, Hemant and Manna dey voice matched on him.
@@dragonforcegaming7555 Mukesh suited Raj Kapoor and perfectly
@@tae1169 I would Argue on this. I think Manna Dey suited a lot better even Shankar Jaikishan said that too Raj Kapoor that Manna Dey suited more on him while Raj Kapoor was adamant to have Mukesh Only as his voice while earlier it was Mohd. Rafi who used to give his voice to Raj Kapoor.
@@dragonforcegaming7555 Manna dey sang many superhit songs for Raj Kapoor but none could reach the level of hits Mukesh songs got , Awara hoon , Mera Joota hai Japani , Sangam. His songs became international hits .... Manna dey's voice was a bit older while Mukesh sounded young ... Raj Kapoor and Mukesh were the first hit combination in Hindi Film Industry .
@@dragonforcegaming7555 No , Raj Kapoor was the one who launched Shankar Jaikishan , Shailendra ,Hasrat Jaipuri ...Mukesh and Raj Kapoor learnt music from the same teacher . Shankar never said that Mukesh didn't suit him , He only said Manna dey also suits him very well.
O mere dil ke chain is still my fav song! Idk why but i'll never get tired of listening to it
9:14 Ultra legend. KK.
Arijit Singh, KK, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Kishore Kumar..... greatest of all time ❤️
Yes all of them legends ❤️❤️❤️... Arijit Singh my favourite ❤️
Md Rafi too brother😀...
Hey Justin!!! Loved your video as always... Thank you for understanding Indian music culture so well..
Here are some suggestions which I guess you should definitely react to:-
1. Galliyan by Ankit Tiwari
2. Bekhayali by Sachet Tandon
3. Man kyon bhahka aadhi raat ko...( It's an old song but the two most renowned sisters who literally took over the music industry, Asha ji and Lata ji, were together in this one... Worth listening)
Seeing this I had ghoosbumps all over and throughout the whole vedio. I just feel so proud of our music industry ❤❤ I appreciate that you bring to us such wonderful vedios .
This is such an educational channel. Learning so much from you. Thank you! ❤️
React to more of kishor da and kk..... Two of the best untrained singers that are literally better than most of the trained ones..... Pls react two both of them 🔥✌️🤘💕
Can you do a seperate reaction on bheegi bhagi si by Kishor Kumar and aapki nazro ne samjha by Lata Mangeshkar please
And one much needed on Chatur naar please!!!!?
Lata Mangeshkar will always be a legend, rip beautiful soul 🕊
Dude you made me nostalgic…by these songs thanks…
It was Mohd Rafi ,Kishor da and Rd Burman who explored different vocal tones first with huge commercial success .It happened in 60s and 70s u need to hear thru thousands of their songs.
Lata di sister Asha Bhosle also was part of that big change.
My favorite are following songs
1. Humraaz Movie Tune zindagi mein song
2. Woh kaun thi movie Aa lag ja gale song
3. Mr and Mrs movie Jane kahan Mera jigar Gaya ji song
4. Chalti ka naam gadi Movie Haal Kaisa hai janab ka song
5. Jane tu ya Jane na movie kabhi kabhi aditi song
6. DO Raste movie Yeh reshami julfein song
7. Satinder Sartaaz singer Yakka song
8. Anari movie Kisi ki muskarahton pe ho nisar song
9. Hero no 1 Sona Kitna sona hai song
10. Judai movie Payar Payar Karte Karte song
Please let us know your thoughts about these songs wordings and lyrics both
I love how interested Justin is in our music 💝
He is interested In growth of his channel
Views ka chakkar babu bhaiya, warna ise ghanta fark nahi padta
He is interested in his views and subs count not in ur music
In almost every video, where Jubin songs are played, his reaction
"I JUST LOVE THAT GUY"
Yes, the Indian classics is loved and respected by new and old generations alike
This evolution fascinates and the legends made it happen 🙌❤️
Justin, please react to Sang e Mah OST by Atif Aslam, next
Bollywood singing is just one type of singing you can't tell when they started exploring vocal tones by just looking at Bollywood , their r many types like qavali, classical ,natyapad etc etc and every types different tones r use and this types have been their before Bollywood for very long
" Tere Naam ' one of the most famous song. Every mobile had this ringtone on that time.
9:09 react to this song in particular plz. Its said so, that the singer had his career at stake and this song got him back on his track. Its also alleged that while singing that song, he was totally drunk and depressed (someone fact check me on this one) Its a song that resonates within every Indian music lover❤️❤️
Please react to more from Ankit Tiwari 10:03...he has a unique vocal tone!❤️
I really wish he understood the lyrics of the older songs! It'll blow his mind, it's deep
Kishore Kumar, Md. Rafi, Asha Bhosle,Lata Mangeshkar, Geeta Dutta, Manna Dey, Hemanta Kumar❤️❤️❤️
Plzzz react to lag ja gale original one or shreya Ghoshal one...u would be amazedddddd to see the vocals...one of the most difficult songs on the planet ❤️
❤❤❤❤❤❤Lata Mangeshkar❤❤❤❤She is the Heart of Bollywood songs Industry for 70 years, This is the world record.
The main thing is u don't understand hindi ...if u do then our old song has so beautiful lyrics and the song meaning is so deep ..that u get really mesmerized by it
Lata Mangeshkar , Kishore Kumar Udit Narayan , Mohammad Rafi etc there are the legend of the music industry
If you want to be wowed by singing and tap into a reaction series that has been sadly ignored for the most part, listen to kids singing competitions. They will BLOW YOUR MIND. I won't even recommend a super famous one. Listen to 'Adhure' by Ronita. She's tiny, but it's an EXCELLENT performance. The OG composer sings with her and her fellow contestants are her backup singers. If I'm being honest, as amazing as her voice is, in this performance, I thought the chorus singers and the male singer stole the show. Anyway, so much for not overwhelming you. Happy listening if you ever get to it.
React to the song 'Yeh bandhan to' with three legends together singing Udit narayan , kumar sanu , alka yagnik and also three legends acting SRK ,Salman, rakhi ..❤❤❤

A great things is doesn't matter how much time is pass but songs are never old they are like just realse
wow I'm 35 now and I remember some of the really early songs because my dad n his brothers used to sing them over family gatherings and drinks (ahem). its so weird ..... my dad's not here but I still remember them singing and dancing to those songs and me being annoyed because they were so loud hahahaha. Geeta Dutt's "mera naam chin chin Chu" was the song me and my dad used to dance together when I was a toddler
I think the deeper tone has been there since 1930 with moti lal ji, another old movie named kabuliwala and the song till today stays with me..eh mere behere chaman....
You are still missing to many legends
Please make next video on reacting to "1 Guy 40 voices (with music)" video by Aksh Baghla. It is very amazing😍😍. I guaranteed you'll be amazed by his voice and talent🤯🤯😱😱. So please make next video on this please. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹😊😊
Till date we listen every song which released after 1950.
Rest in peace our legends
KISHORE KUMAR, MOHD. RAFI, LATA MANGHESHKAR
Lots of love from INDIA❤❤
The change happened with Roja & Rangeela. AR rahman can be credited with changing the landscape of Indian music.
RIP LATA JI❤
Can you share a playlist of all these songs.
You chose all of them superb ❤
1:09 k.l. sehgal sahab is 24-karat pure gold

Ofcourse They are legends. They have built the Indian culture 🥺😭
I absolutely love your videos. you know how to appreciate good music. 🥰
Love for the voice of late lata mangeshkar ji will never die
It will stay in the ❤️ of every Indians
OG MUSIC USED TO LISTEN TO KL SEHGAL A LOT IN CHILDHOOD CLASSIC
Not only back in the time we still dance to these songs tillll datee
Brilliant Collab of all the bollywood movie songs 👌🔥
Person who made the list
Forgot about how 2005-09 was the era of himesh reshamiya .
You can say whatever about his singing
But he was the most heard singer of that timeline.
And kk too he did bot included any of his songs too.
90s songs are close to my heart as I am a late 1980s kid.
Hey Justin.. I have a few suggestions which I feel everyone will love your reaction to:
1- Chennai Rooftop Jam by A. R Rehman
2- Peer Manawan Challiyan by Sukhwinder Singh and Salim-Sulaiman.
3- Sound of the Nation by Amit Trivedi.
Please react on these, you'll love it ✨
Tone changes every decade.but my generation of millenials experienced change in the shift from 1998.music incorporated more western influence yet with indian melody.
Around 2005 vocal tone changed for both male and female singers and I think that around that tym Bollywood entered more pop-ish kinda texture.
I'd love to see your reaction to the kids in Superstar Singer 2, a reality show on Sony TV currently on air.
10:30 sushant sir 🙏🙏♥️♥️
Idk why but my whole feeling is change on 2013 ❤️Tum hi ho 😭❤️
It feels we are listening 🎧 with this guy.❤️
Amazing compilation
every og's in india are respected more than any legend
Lata ji will always be in our hearts♥️
May her soul rest in peace ✨
We just don't respect old songs and singers we pray them they are unbeatable ❤️
React to Mohammad Rafi... He's a legend, Greatest among all the playback singers in Bollywood history❤️
The point is in India the older generation is always like " humare zamane ke gaanon ki aur hi baat thi "
means they keep praising songs of their era
And younger generation doesn't like them till a certain age
But when a person of younger generation reaches early 20s or so , he too starts liking old songs
Its just you have to connect with the lyrics , the voice , music and experience life to understand their beauty ..
Lata Mangeshkar is goddess of bollywood ❤️❤️❤️
The vocal tone changed during and after Chhaiya Chhaiya...
Justin, nice to see you respect our Old Gems. Pls do listen to Southern Legend Illayarajas Music 🎶.
Lata Mangeshkar is true legend. Sadly now female lead only get "Dance Numbers" which are called "Item Numbers" to sing. Now we rarely find soulful music in female voice.
I hv different playlist of old songs... Thnkxx to Spotify 😂😂... Btw it's a fact that old is gold.... Nd another fact that i m a 2003 born... But still obsessed with 90's song... In starting bcz of my dad ... But now bcz I loved them 😂😂😂
I just realized I know lots of the songs from 60's onwards~ most the oldies songs are because of my grandparents (grandma is Ceylonese & grandpa is Pakistani)
Kitne khubsurat gane hai yrrr
Lata Mangeshkar and KJ Yesudas (not featured sadly).... epic
listen to "wo ek nigah kya mili" by lata mangeshkar and Kishore kumar. lata ji hit a perfect c6 in that . amazing just amazing and the music what to say amazing
I was born in 2005 and could definitely say old songs are the best!
lata mangeshkar and asha bhonsle are sisters both were ruling the 90s..... sibling goals ( :
U should react to ek chatur naar 💜it's one of the best songs
the answer to your question at 8:30 is the Aashiqui 2 album. it changed everything.
Geeta Dutt was an absolute legend.
