One of the main things to take away to my game which helped is how well Viktor uses his vision, since there aren't many videos this close and with these angles to cover how he looks at his opponent. You can see at 6:58 he has his eyes trained on his opponents swing motion and then tracks the shuttle which is something I didn't do for a long time, and it has helped me time my movements way better. Love this video, thank you so much for this!

During professional match it is disadvantage to aplaud to your opponent not because you are arogant just simply not giving psychological advantage over you.
Although many times everybody would like somewhere deep inside to give credit for some shots.

Viktor is really talented and steps in the footsteps of many great danish badminton players. - We're talking about a country of 5,6 million people, so in the sport of badminton there's only a fraction of danes playing, yet there are several "legends". - After most retired it's so refreshing to see the "next generation" unfold.
Viktor has been on danish "late night show" several times and he has a lot of humor and is really "down to earth" :)

@@mohammadadil4175 Yep! Years of tons of weekly training on-, and off-court. Definitely many tens of thousands depending if he kept up training something like 15-20hrs a week since he was first a club player as a junior.

yes he will, the whole package. I thought jan o jorgensen will be but his star failling fast. Instead Victor's star is shinning brighter and brighter. I can even say that world no 1 he will be. After Chen Long who in china can withstand Victor. Indonesia has simon and soni but can't quite get to the top. Japan momota has issues. Chong wei is gonna retired. Indonesia Anthony Ginting is promising but not there yet. In tennis there were a study that new technology from equipement favor more muscular player, ie older player, that's top 10 player are most in their near 30's. Young player don't have avantage over older like before. That's why we don't see 20 year player pushing the reigning champions. Maybe we are seeing that in badminton too. Younger player just can't push older player. Old player with their experience, physical strenght, calm, poise just outclass stamina from young player. But maybe training ability just improve. But question remains why young player just can't outclass old one. In basketball, Hockey, young phenom come in and they are as good if not better that their big brothers.
The only person who may be able to stop him is Kento Momota. He is going to be unbanned in May.

Viktor has mastered all badminton techniques for sure! He only needs to make his movements and techniques look beautiful and smooth like LCW and LD now. Even Chen Long doesn't have beautiful footwork like LD when he moves.
