I am so so excited about today's thriftmas video because we are thrifting for @stealthespotlight_ !! Literally Katie is such a big fashion inspo to me and the way she takes any piece of clothing and turns it into such a fabulous outfit always leaves me in AWE! She was super open about what I could thrift for her and I not only (I think) score at the thrift stores, but also when I went to the Rose Bowl back in November I ended up finding some other super awesome pieces to add to her thrifted mystery box!!

I LOVE how Alexa truly embodies the style of each person she thrifts for! Sometimes people try this type of thing and end up projecting the same style they like onto everyone, but the styling in each of these videos has been so unique for each guest.
Though Katie's style is quite different from mine, I'm in constant awe of her ability to pull off maximalism/power clashing so well. I've never seen anyone take something kind of chaotic and make it cohesive like she does. I still take a lot of inspiration from her videos, in terms of being more versatile with the pieces I already own.
One thing about Alexa I love is that she is so considerate that she puts so much effort to cover people's faces in her wide angle shots in thrift stores so that they won't be uncomfortable to be filmed without consent i mean it is so thoughtful, i just wanted to tell this detail as well ❤️
I try my best!!! sometimes people are walking so fast which is why theres just a massive censor bubble on one side of the screen haha ❤️
