- This is part six of a series of 7 videos covering a 25th anniversary 4 week long trip away to Greece via a "camp on deck" ferry from Ancona, Italy to Igoumenitsa, Greece and then looping back up the Adriatic coast home through Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, France & home! Phew
In part six you join Archie and me as we continue our headlong plummet north from a Montenegro beach near Budva. We drive through Dubrovnik looking for a place to park. After leaving we finally find a garage to look at a worsening problem with the van... and then disaster strikes!

How are the engines on these? Reliable? . Im looking at a 1991 LT35
The block will go on for ever. The head has a tolerance that means hairline cracks start to appear after 250,000 miles or so (depending on how they've been driven & maintained). New heads are still being made. My replacement cost £1200 in fitting and ancillaries. Generally sound but many feel that they are underpowered. Jump in without expecting too much and hopefully you'll feel impressed! They pull and pull (even if you need to drop down gears and rev harder)

It could happen to any vehicle 30 years old right? I knew I had a problem but was unable to diagnose it before I left. Isn't it amazing that I can get it fixed wherever I go?! :)
Absolutely no doubt recommending a Florida. the most underrated camper on the road

Yes. Apologies. Mostly just handheld Go Pro. Have upgraded since. It's just too convenient to grab when you need something quick and discrete
