Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth ou of the womb i sanctified thee and i ORDAINED THEE A PROPHET unto the nations. I share this because the way God can continually love and believe in us is because he nurtured us before we came to earth and KNOWS who you are and no matter what you do that is not good he still sees you as a magnificent beautiful righteous soul He knows our destiny and never gives up on that vision of perfection if we but follow Him

We love conditionally we are not perfect unlike God who is and loves unconditionally it does not mean he loves what we do when we hurt others but he knew us before we were born since our spirit being has always existed so Scott it is not absurd that God loves unconditionally that does not mean that all will make it back those that repent get baptized and live his commandments get to return to Him.

The "geography of consciousness" is a social construction. It has always confounded me when people believe that G-d and heaven are "up there" and we are "down here." While Alexander's book uses this language, his explanation in this lecture is poignant -- and it needs to impact our theological language about the transcendent and immanent.

I have a hard time believing God forgives serial killers etc right off the back as well as those who are responsible for this engineered economic mess due to their insatiable greed. Plus the wars being fought on behalf of certain peoples lies and deceit where millions have been murdered/killed because of these lies. There is too much greed and selfishness on this planet for God to be ok with it in the afterlife. It's bad enough God being ok with it in life, yet alone after life - I would like to kow there is accountability somewhere along the line!.

To be able to forgive you need to be able to separate the behavior of a person with who the person really is inside.
I believe that we are all connected to each other by love. My own family can not understand how I can believe something that sounds so stupid........but for everyone's behavior exists an explanation. I do not believe that serial killers were born killers but something is this life happen to them that made them change they're believe's and most of it they're behavior. That's why some humans choose the wrong path in life. The experiences they have in this human lives makes us do things we may normally not do if we did not have those experiences. It takes a strong person to survive some of the wrongs in this world. One weak moment and the string of the guitar snaps like our own mind strings when we experience the wrongs. We are not born with this behavior as the basis for living.

violeta ciorita - Your delusional to think we are all connected by love. There is too much hatred, hurt, selfishness and greed etc to be connected by love. No-one gives s sht anymore and it will only get worse.
Some (not all) serial killers are born this way, but society/up-bringing etc also contributes here. Most people know if they would make good/loving parents etc or not and be around for them for the long term into adulthood, if you know in your heart you won't DON"T have children.
I don't want God to forgive (and He must not) those who have done much wrong and where the ramifications of their actions have been so great. If we can't/won't make people accountable for their actions while on Earth for whatever reason, then (i pray) He must be judge and jury and give out the punishment that's befitting to whatever that person has done.

One question for you: what is the last wrong you did in your life?

violeta ciorita - i think I cut someone up in traffic the other day and swore and got angry about something silly. Guess I will go to Hell for that while serial killers etc go to Heaven. Oh well they say life is unfair, now I know why.

hi hi..............it's a good one. If you cut up someone in traffic you may for some reason was in a hurry or just felt like doing so witch both way is fine.
And if you swore hi hi............I just hope the God you did not say the F word as it will be very very bad. And if you got angry I am sure all with a good reason. I am talking about really really bad and not about normal things all humans do......like killing somebody or even worse......hi hi hi..if that exists
