@@andyelphick9715 Thanks Andy, I try to mix the camera angles as much as possible to make them as interesting as possible so appreciate your feedback 👍🎥🐟🎣
@@Walsallgrower No flow as well David, the swim I cleared out fishes better with some movement so will return when the weather cools and the rain returns. Hopefully the rain will be more fishing friendly this coming autumn and winter. Fingers crossed, but agree nice to be out next to the river on those early morning sessions 👍🐟🎣
@@kevt7931 it certainly is a great way to spend a morning Kev. Can be a tough section of river but very rewarding when the bigger fish get on the feed. 👍🎣
I've had many a blank fishing rivers mate,it's so nice to see them gudgeon when it's not fishing well but obviously nice to get bigger fish, nice filming of the wildlife and fauna ,
@@pauledwards6470 Thanks Paul, I took a gamble with the bigger baits. Maggots and casters like the previous film would have produce bites but thought I would try something different. Thank you for the feedback 👍🎥🐟
That swim looks perfect for the bigger fish Russ - think it’s a case of trial and error with the baits. You tried your best & produced yet another great video.👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎣
@@kennyscouse3388 Thanks Kenny I have had some nice fish out of that swim in past seasons using mainly natural baits plus bread flake. I look forward to a return over the coming weeks. Appreciate your comments Kenny 👍🐟🎣
Hi Ren, Thank you. I can't fault the Daiwa GS BR LT5000-C reel, smooth action with 4 ball bearings, weighs 330g, Max line rating of 12lbs with a one touch folding handle. Plenty of reel for the money. I bought a pair of them and very happy with them. No spare spool though 👍🎣
Good Video mate, I like to put two or three SSG's about 3 foot above the bomb/feeder as a backlead to get some line on the deck, avoiding some liners which, can spook some fish.
Always worth a try bigger baits takes me back to many carping sessions in years gone by Always tried many baits and fake maggots or corn bread , swan mussels to catch silvers or bream just so you didn't blank. Great video as always ❤
@@marciabaldwin2506 Thanks Marcia, I thought it was worth a try making a video aimed at big baits for bigger species on this tough stretch of river. I had some great fun trying and pleased you enjoyed the film. Will be back out on the waters edge again soon. 👍🐟🎣🎥
Love the way you film these videos with all the different camara angles ! Keep them coming !

Too warm Russ, a friend of mine had nothing on the wye Friday.
Hey, who cares when nature keeps us enthralled. 👍
