Firstly I'm just new to this Power Query thing. So if my solution has any error please do highlight it.
I was facing this issue for long time, what I tried and worked for me was. After loading the in power query. Open the Query.
Go to File >>Options and Settings>>Query Options>>Current Workbook>>Regional Settings>>In the drop Down I selected English (United States).
Trust it me it worked like a charm.
I had 10 columns having date information all got corrected at once.
I would request the video owner to try this confirm if this actually works or I was just lucky to get away with it by fluk.

Thank bro, you have solved my big problem.।
Thanks for the great topic and solution.
My solution for this challenge is this: Transform>Extract>Text before Delimiter> Space
Then in the formula, change the culture to "en=GB" and set column's type to Date.
Great tip!
Thanks buddy ☺️

I have one doubt regarding the date format.
How to do different locale format in one column.
Can you please help?
Hi I have created custom column in MMM/YYYY format but its data type is in Text, how to convert it in date type. I'm working in Power Query.
Create a new column
= "1" & [Column with mmm/yyyy]
then change the data type to date
How to display date in 'dd-MMM-yy' format without converting the data type to text
Hey Chadeep, I have some query on Power Bi. Can you share your email id, so that I can share my query. Thanks
Break the date via text to column marking the delimiters, use concatenate function to recombine and align the date again. Saved your 10 minutes. 🤦🏻♂️🤷
