The wonder of creating such wonderfully crafted instruments in a 16th century building….once agin I have by fate and accident found another reason to look for beauty in all things…..thank you Mr. Ritter
Jens Ritter are some of the greatest instrument manufacturers in the world.... I've talked to owner Jens on several occasions and he's a genius with a amazing since of style.... He's also a Cool & Funny guy.... I can't wait to review Jens Ritter basses on my website and hopefully Jens Ritter will design a Detroit Hit' Man' Bass in the near future!
Ritters are so beautiful, if I owned one I would probably be more preoccupied with trying not to scratch or ding it, than I would playing it. Great bass guitar-played a Roya at a guitar show recently and sounded as nice as it looked. My hats off to Jens and his crew!!!
whoah!! finally some clip-on mics!! it seems they learned form their mistakes and actually listen to the suggestions! or whatever it is they are using is way much better!
Lol, do you have ANY idea how long ritter has been around? xD Do you have ANY idea how IN DEMAND their basses are? Until you do better, I'd recommend hushing.
For those who talk shit ,this is number one basses in the world better and more expensive than fodera you don't believe put here on UA-cam the most expensive bass and you will see fucker this is the best of the best
So you propose an instrument maker to have no contact to the artists who might eventually choose to get one of his instruments? that sounds like a very poor case of marketing... And also you don't think an artist needs inspiration, or... Free time... And obviously don't know that a 1 year backorder in this business isn't particularly bad o.O... Do you... Think?
Lame - Lame - Lame: Back-ordered for a year...have no clue how long it takes to build an instrument....and nobody working to clear the backlog but Jens and his buddy? Frankfurt show? Why?? They have no way to fulfill their orders from a tradeshow or anywhere else - that's not a professional business, that's a hobby. I hope all those people with advance orders didn't put much (or any) money down, b/c this is a classic example of a company already bankrupt but not realizing it yet.

Lovely guitars built by a grounded man who's clearly inspired... a real talent and with a great sense of humour.
Amazing! Thank you for bringing us inside Ritter Instruments. Such an amazing work of art on so many levels.
Inspiring to be close to Jens Ritter's work, even though it is so far away! Congratulations, Premier Guitar.
This is the best tour I have ever seen. Very good job!
Nice interview. Very cool to know that it is such a small operation. Jens seems very down to earth and a nice guy.
No bass player should ever put a picture of his girlfriend on his bass. N E V E R ! :D The bass is too important for that.
Clever - and beautiful, really beautiful
This guy seems very happy about his instruments and business, which makes me smile too :)
Definitely the best Factory Tour you've made. Charles Saufley, don't change. Lovin' the denim!
Wow man! These basses are immaculate!!!!! Hopefully I can afford one soon!
Amen my Brother...When you do something that you truly Love , It's Never work...You are awesome my friend....
Awesome what creativity , ingenuity , resources can achieve
Awesome what one can achieve given talent, motivation and resources!
I would really love to apprentice under this guy. Just uber craftsmanship and quality. I love it.
Thank you Charles and Jens! Very interesting! Beautiful instruments!
Beautiful works of art!
That was a pleasant tour and the instruments were beautiful wish I could afford one,
glad to see there not just after the money.
Awesome to see that so much high quality merchandise is produced by no more than three people. A lovely video and factory tour!
Dream bass is a raptor five string, Jens seems like a really cool guy, I hope one day I can maybe afford one of his basses.
This guy rules! There is no question.
I'd like to see some of his first guitars he made and the progression to now. Im getting back into bass building after watching this lol

WHEN OCC ENDS, I'D LIKE TO SEE RITTER DOCUMENTARY..
These guitars are wonderful!!!!
I love his work.
Although ... I can't help but think what Carl Thompson would think of that bass body shape?
the fact that I laughed about the X-Ray joke reminded me how damn German I am
Those white guitars starting at 6:45 are so beautiful, it hurts.
Great Instruments, how do they sound? 👍✌️
I read in his website that with your Ritter bass you also received a bottle of Ritter wine... now that´s classy!
7:42 Beautifully crafted Bigsby.
+just guitars A "Bigsby"? A Bigsby is a chunky vibrato unit beloved of Neil Young, I couldn't see one at the coordinates you gave.
whoah!! finally some clip-on mics!! it seems they learned form their mistakes and actually listen to the suggestions! or whatever it is they are using is way much better!
I love the Baritone guitar !
@Alexander1208 - Yeah I agree, it's definitely much better w/clip-on mics! This was actually a cool video tour. Nice little shop he's got there!
That is a truly wonderful lifestyle, a dream come true career, certainly something to aspire to.
Awesome, beautiful ! Waouw... i love !
@CrazyCow500 Different is a better word. Each of these are a work of art. These are easily my favorite bass shape.

10:38 wow! Awesome Bass
Got a towel just like the one at 18:41! I think I need a Ritter to go with it!
Dude thank you PG
Try to order a Suhr, or any other custom guitar. Crimson is now taking orders to be delivered in August 2014.
Finally an interviewer who doesn't loudly exaggerate and is not full of false bonhomme.Cool !!!
I didn’t know Phil got a Ritter⚡️💣 🤘
Great design!
Lol, do you have ANY idea how long ritter has been around? xD

I enjoyed it, great.
Wundervolles Deidesheim.
Cheers,
Robin :o)
Jens Ritter is the #1
My dream bass
"A lot of bodies went into the oven." For some reason, I feel like that could have been phrased a lot more tactfully.
5:38-5:55
Omg omg omg. I want this guitar xD
That looks like the greatest life to live
ritter you need to give the cripe style a go with no fixes just brilliant top hat copy or bolt!!
dude is cool, i've played a few ritters and they are amazing, unfortunately I will never be able to buy one.
Iggy Tubmen How much do they cost?
More than regular people can afford. Im in AUS, i hit them up for a quote once. Lets just say the cost was half a house deposit
@@numberneinlarge9965 Starting at 10,000$
I think Charles did a great job here
is that a 7 string bass next to the party bass???
Acronso Yes. Yes it is.
I love the fact that camphor laurel is a pest tree more wood for me.
love it!
Way Cool
That's a lot of wine xD And I really wonder what's in the big keg!?
For those who talk shit ,this is number one basses in the world better and more expensive than fodera you don't believe put here on UA-cam the most expensive bass and you will see fucker this is the best of the best
What a life🎉
I expected these things to run for about twice as much as they actually seem to do. Still a lot though.
their are only two people! O.O :D
Booooo-teak..if this doesn't inspire the creative juices..i don't know what will..lucky & talented guy...
Where are the Beatles?
@VikingOfAsgaard waat?
Well, the good thing is he is no longer making any interviews!! Thank God.
Making the "Mark"
Princess Isabella Benson-Tribute- you will see what i mean....if you look at the fret ends...
AING. HIGH ART.
@Deathrape2001 watch arambedrosian's channel! it's quite impressive!
If your thinking of his "rainbow bass" that was made by Carl Thompson...
$20,000 on a bass to put a simpson's image on it?? wow, that dude must be loaded!!
Awesome German accent
He’s like the Benedikt Eppelsheim of the guitar world…
The basses are just awesome, the guitars,.....no. Stick to basses man. Excellent work.
a little different than a Gibson tour....
@8.28...awkward moment...lol the host was thinking nazi camps

duh, ya think? But then most people that watch this won't get the reference.
LAST!
definitely not to play bass or guitars for price wise. they better stay at home just for collection LOL
just my opinion
Nonsense.
hes german :)
You sound like you're half way through a three week, "get rich" business course.
oof the hair..
really, are you that sensitive?
Unprofessional as fuck. This guy is CLEARLY hung over, and didnt sleep the night before. How rude and lacking.
Arrogant hahahaa...
interviewer looks like a bum...like he slept on a park bench or something!
You leave Noel Gallagher alone!
+freakystyley4000 lol...ok ok!!
lol the interviewer is probably one of the most boring people in the world.
Lame - Lame - Lame: Back-ordered for a year...have no clue how long it takes to build an instrument....and nobody working to clear the backlog but Jens and his buddy? Frankfurt show? Why?? They're still around, so I guess they weren't bankrupt at the time of you writing this;-)
These things are so ugly
hideous
Can anyone link me to a video or song of that red Stinger bass being played?
I'd like to hear that too.
The host reminds me of Bender from the Breakfast Club.
Not bad for $200!
