Regarding the flicker. I see it on high frequency tig videos all the time. The cameras really don´t like the high frequency. I´m super impressed with your work. You´ll never be out of work, especially with these videos out there.
Awesome fabrication brotha! The branch is a test here in the states, go by name of kinder Morgan, to go into pipeline work and fabrication. Love the content keep posting.
If you have a camera that you can change to a manual mode change your shutter speed until it it reduced. It happens when light has a frequency that doesnt match with the camera. You can also play with your frame rates and that could help
Love the fab work. That's the real labor . Your welds are art. Question, have you used metal co wire in your shop? I understand it uses less voltage for spray arc transfer than solid wire. With less heat and distortion and better penetration. Just curious . WELD ON Calvin.
Maybe the high frequency from the pulse is messing with the electronics in the camera? Maybe a diy faraday cage or some sort of shielding? (purely a guess) Enjoyed the video, as always.
Thanks for teaching your techniques. I like your music. What's the intro song that you open your video with? I'd like like to play at the fitting shop I work at.
Hi Calvin ,great fabbing techniques, was wondering how much shrinkage occurs on the assembly of the pipework with all your welding. for example how much per butt joint ,and how much for the branch joints I'm sure you allow for this to achieve the overall dimensions of the piece. With your welding the branches on one side of the pipe how much blow occurs along its length and what correction techniques do you apply to correct this .Once again many thanks for spending the time and trouble to upload your videos
Carbon steel very rarely shrinks with two runs. You get a little if you over heat bad. An you almost always have +an _ allowed on overall lengths. Say 0.5m to 2m. Stainless is what you can get mega shrink on
@@martinallsopp8941 Hi Martin many thanks for your reply ,I work on Stainless pipe work using Tig light gauge 2mm wall but with a closed butt using 1 run with 1.0mm filler, full penetration and each butt shrinks between .5to .7 mm,so I have to obviously allow for it ,was just wondering on the steel side appreciate your input many thanks Regards John
Im not sure about this but that flicker could be due to a "rolling shutter" combined with pulse settings. On the Wikipedia page about rolling shutter there is an example with a flickering grow light that leads to colored stripes across the image. If it is in fact a rolling shutter effect you are seeing you should be able to change the flicker by modifying the pulse frequency. Thanks for the good content. Keep it coming.
Flashing, or actually waving, is the result of a different recording frequency and pulsating current. Each frame registers a different number of pulses and therefore has a different brightness. Interesting film. If you have a minute, look at my channel, I repair the excavator, I do not do it on a daily basis, so there are shortcuts. Greetings from Poland

oui le travail des ouvrage le proceder de soudage cest la montante basique normalement ce que je vois la soudure desendante avec semi automatique je comprend pas
flicker is caused by high frequency interference with your camera. If you back it away and get a longer lens to zoom way in it'll do better. inverse square and all that.
Try setting your Camera to the Pulse rate, obviously you are going to have to go 60, 29, or 24. You could try your frequency at whatever the Camera is also. One or both of those things.

Thanks for the comment, and it doesn't shrink enough to be a problem, i usually worry more about the weld pulling a flange out of wack

What inspection method is used for welds?
Very good job, I would like to ask you what type of wire you do the welding with and with what gas?
Argon gas or Argon air is used , and mild steel wire, no expert mind
Muy buen trabajo.
I was waiting for the new vídeo

For clarification, is that a butt joint with a grove weld? Butt being the joint design and grove being the weld type.

your frame rate of camera is similiar to your pulse
is the best job welding
Why it was flickering. Could be a be of splatter on contact tip an arching on wire whilst your welding
