I took your advice and got a Y-cable for the fx loop of my Rubberneck. Sounds great with my Bluff Chill Wax Ether in there for when the ordinary repeats are just not lo-fi enough! That DBA pedal sounds great!
I ordered the DOD today as I have a feeling that prices will shoot up once they're gone. There's so much options; modulation, tone, insert,.... and awesome sounding from the demos I hear.
Thanks for doing these side by side. Was about to jump on an echo dream 2 or a clone but man that rubberneck -does- have some options that are more appealing. *fires up reverb*
Great comparison, thank you. I like them both in their own way, but if I had to choose one it would be the Echo Dream.

Nice one! Yeah, it opens up the pedal massively and it's so much fun to try new pedals in there.
Thanks, mate! 🙂👍
I got the Y cable a few weeks ago and have been experimenting. My favorite so far is adding a phaser and keeping the presence low.

Great choice! You absolutely won't regret it. 😊

No worries! I'm glad you found it useful. The Rubberneck is definitely the more versatile of the two, imo. I fully recommend getting one!
Rubberneck sounds lush. I could imagine the Echo dream is a trip, but the Rubberneck just sounds more musical.
I agree. They're both insanely fun, but the Rubberneck is definitely the more "audience-friendly" of the two. 😄
Awesome! What did you play the loop from?
Thanks! I use a Nux Loop Core Deluxe.
Rubberneck sounded way better. Echo dream 2 is awesome too, but more niche as it is more lo fi sounding.
