    I would use honey instead; also dried chili peppers 1/8 cup; 3 tablespoons of sesame seed oil

    Can red wine vinegar be substituted for the cooking wine and vinegar in this recipe? That's all I have in my cabinet at he moment

      you wont have the same texture as the fried fish but its close enough for healthier version

    You need lots of sugar to get the sweet taste because the ketchup is sourish

    I'm going to do a fresh pompano whole that way later today. It probably won't stand on the plate like the fish shown,however that sauce looks tops and will be great with it !!
