@@bluescorpwin true bro. OEM is recommended. It's better to compromise on pads than on rotors. ! Hness service is almost the same as Honda City , which means the car's service itself is cheap.
Iam owning a SP125 for the past 3 years now. Clocked 43k kms till date. I lost my front brake pads at 38k kms. Cost of brake pads is dam high. 1200 rs for a pair. But i felt paying so much after such a long time is ok. Guess what.....the brake liner is still left with 30% life.
Bajaj brake pads are affordable, it's cost under 300 and i haven't change the pad currently my pulsar is running 23k kms. I don't know why hero, honda, yamaha and other companies are charging around 1000.
Mine is a March 2023 Dlx model. What you said about gearing is true. Even when riding solo, it struggles to pick up in 2nd gear at speed breakers or slow driving. Frequent shifts to 1st gear is an irritant in this bike. Contrary to what you said, I feel that the suspension is a bit harder. Head light beam is also poor. And what irritates me more than anything else is the initial high rpm when you start the bike in the morning or after a gap of a few hours. It takes at least 3 minutes for the engine to settle down to a comfortable and bearable rpm. This is not a just start and go bike. Many times the onlookers suggest me get the rpm adjusted. They don’t know Honda forces their customers to meditate for 3-4 minutes before they start their journey. The wobbling problem mentioned in this video may be because of this initial high rpm. When in hurry if I just start the engine and go then there is lot of vibration and the engine feels restless and out of control. Service people said this is a must to pump the engine oil faster to prevent damage and for ensuring longer life of the engine.
Facing the same issue with front brake pads, using hness for daily commuting and also using engine braking but still have to replace the front brakes at 12k as well as 18k km service. Visiting the Gurgaon service Center at the moment. At 18k one when they said that i have to replace my brake pads which BTW cost around ₹1200-1400 i was shocked and asked them the same question that how is that my rear brake is going fine and you’re saying that it has some more life left in it even after 18k km but my front can’t last 6k km. What they said that when used in heavy traffic it wears out quickly, which doesn’t exactly sit right with me. But still have to do replace it. I completely agree with you on the service quality the bike is as amazing as the day it arrived but this is the only thing which leaves a bad taste in the overall experience of ownership and service.
Regarding the brake pads, especially during rainy season it last only 2000 kms, but then i found nikavi hness brake pads it is only 400-700 rupees for front and rear in Amazon, and it last way longer also. And the wobbling issue, i face the problem but then i found out that the front bearing was a bit loose, i change the bearing for around 350 rupees then it was fixed
This is exactly I was looking for! Well mentioned. I am planning for a bike and have shortlisted 3 bikes so far. RE Hunter 350, CB350RS and Triumph Speed 400. But I have removed Hunter 350 as many of the users have complained about the hard clutch and stiff rear suspension. Triumph Speed 400 is also an excellent bike but somehow I feel the road presence is not good and me being a SUV driver I know how big car drivers how often tend to overlook scanty little bikes :P But the CB350RS looks pretty beefy particularly the rear section and does have a good road presence. But these servicing cost issue is putting me off by a little bit! Thanks for sharing these issues which really nobody speaks about!
@@invoker_tm7556 The Scrambler 400 is a very good and nice bike, but my usage won't do justice to it. But recently I rode a 2024 Classic 350 and I was really impressed. Also the pillion seat felt a tad bit better than the CB350. Now the dilemma grows 🤣
@@sutsarnox happens I've been trying to buy one since march last year 🤣 but because of lack of decision making cost me alot like I'm unable to buy one till date So ill recommend u one thing dont care about these stupid things like road presence like u arent going to see it while riding anyways so just take test side make ur mind by looking into factors such as service cost or maintanence cost and mileage cost and after analysing all the factors choose 1
@@invoker_tm7556 I actually have made up my mind.,.I am going to go for the Classic 350. A do it all motorcycle. Plus if anything goes wrong, a road side mechanic can atleast patch it up and I can be on my way. But I would fear that for Honda and Triumph. Those machines are not very much known to all mechanics. BTW I now ride a TVS XL100 Comfort which I bought to run errands. But now the freedom of 2 wheels beckons and I must answer to it! 😁
Your observation is going to help us a lot. Some people will notice the problem after watching your video they will be like "han yar ye to mere me bhi hota hai"😂😂😂
A genuine practical review. Its been 8months i am riding this, and feeling long gears are is actually a big issue in the city traffic this leads oain in palms too.. All points you captured are relatable. Thanks for this video
Happened to me as well. I own a cb350 rs. My front brake pads went bone dry by 2450 km. Rear ones still had some life. They said organic brake pads wear out quickly in monsoon. It's been just 4 months & an entire 2450 km were clicked in traffic at speeds lower than 50 km. Recently got my pads changed with ceramic ones. Let's see how they fare.
Ive ridden the bike over 30K kms now, 2 and half years plus. you are telling that the brakes wear out sooner. But have you compared the braking with other bikes. This brake has phenomenal performance. It has saved me multiple times. its so precise and predictable. And theres a video in youtube also where a guy brakes during drag race cz some splendor guy comes between, and the bike stops from 120 to 20 kmph in just 3sec, which so phenomenal in this segment., Nobody actually talks about the safety it offers. i would say its the safest bike in the segment. Brakes, ABS, Traction control everything works well in order to save us. and in excess the MRF tyres came amlost 28K kms for me. so for that i don't mind changing brake pads frequently for that performance.
yes bro, i too face tall gear problem from hornet 160R, which i never got in Honda shine for 10 years. being a lower middle class, i cant afford to experiment and buy another bike after coughing 1.05 Lakh in 2017 on Hornet, so i am adjusting it and have somehow forced my mind to be quite. Next time i will test ride before i buy any bike.
I am Highness owner its better then any RE 350cc bikes. but I agree service cost is on higher side. Now I get the bike serviced in authorized service station but get the engine oil changed from outside.

Bro, it is a whole different ball game in Mumbai I changed my brakepads at 5500kms & my brakepads were cleaned off within 600kms The dealership itself said that you should go for aftermarket ones as this is a known issue during Monsoons for Mumbai I was like why didnt you inform me about this when you were changing the pads in the first place Going forward, will only install aftermarket brakepads These brakepads cost 1100 per set but quality is barely 400-500rs worth The service centre guys got it from outside for me for 900 bucks & it has been 3k kms the pads are fine in monsoons.
What do you think, which one is better Honda CB 350 (DLX Pro) - Royal Enfield Classic 350 (Halcyon Dual channel) - Royal Enfield Hunter 350 (Dapper) - Honda Hness CB 350 (DLX Pro). As a general rider, I am in search of a bike suitable for daily commuting as well as occasional tours.
6:08 almost every youtuber said this issue in their video. 6:40 yes its true , you don't get the same vibration feeling from RE bikes .sometimes you feel soo smooth and start to enjoy it in long rides. 8:26 back suspension is kind on stiffer side . 8:31 wobbling issue is there only when you release the handle at high speed and not while braking or anything so its fine. if you encounter don't speed up . cons: paint fading issues , wobbling issues , rust issues. Overall really worth bike✅ .mileage super✅ ,sound super✅ ,comfort good ✅, style super✅.
I also hav CB350RS and my breakpads worn out on only just 2k kms due to last year rainy season and as it was having oem organic break pads. then i used vesrah ceramic break pad and its almost 12k kms and break pads are still in excellent condition(>80%).
Actually this is true @honda will not address the issue of wobbling, filter issues . instead of improving riding experience they completely ignore the complaints of users .😢
Hey i got new cb350 RS 20 days ago and got 750 km done on 21st day but they said my break pads need to be changed on my first servicing how is this possible?
Buddy, as well all know no motorcycle is 100% perfect. CB350 for its price tag is a wonderful machine. RE has come a long way since their vibrator bullet days, however even today if you ride an RE and a CB350 it's a no-brainer as to which motorcycle, we will choose. RE is making up the numbers just because of its exhaust note, and its legacy however someone who is looking for a motorcycle that will give trouble-free performance will always opt for CB350 in that segment. wrt the brake pads wearing out quickly there is a UA-cam channel "Raj ka Garage" where he has discussed about the Vesrah Ceramic Brake pad which can last longer. The initial investment can be a bit more as it costs around Rs.2600 for both the pads, however his experience suggests that it is worth considering. An excellent vlog as usual where you explain things in layman's terms.
All bikes of honda has same gearing issues, actually it's not an issue overall but very annoying for city traffic,, actually this long gearing is good for extra mileage.... But much better produce then REs ...
Yes hness service cost is very very high. Afrer 4th service it costs 4400rs. Yes gearing and service cost is only 2 main cons of this bike after 1.8 months of use. Main positive thing is mileage. I get 43 around in highway and 37,38 kmpl in city
Key for a good long life of the brake pads or non tearing of the engine parts ! Brakes should be used simultaneously ( front & rear ) CB H'ness is a cruiser - and it should be ridden as a cruiser ( hope u understand )
I too change front break pads for 5.5K.. not acceptable. Other major challenges are accessories, speifically back rest, engine guard are must one. But even after 32months, no clue from honda. There are new touring setup but accordingly service, they are suitable for 2023 models... I think they have to learn fro RE...
There was also one case when the service centre was asking for an oil change even though the bike has hardly run for 1800kms in last 6 months. They were voiding the warranty for not changing the engine oil. If you apply your brain then this looks like a loot, and any expert mechanic would recommend you to not waste money in changing engine oil in such case.
good job one think to add to solve t gear ratio change t front sprocket to 13 t. second for milage air pressure should maintianed with chain condition tightness
Went for royal enfield red rebel. 😅I am casual biker. Was looking for a good light vehicle with brand value. Can you do the pros and cons of the royal enfield rebel red.😊
Break pad k bare mein Jo bole wo sahi hai . Main Kolkata se hoon yaha par v 6k 7k kilometres mein change kar deta hai. Or 1 issue apne bataye Nehi chain sprocket v iska jaldi jata hai
Now a day servicing only washing, changing engine oil, cleaning air filter (without removing it).. Had two bad experience, noticed there are hardly one professional machnic & rest of people just roaming around... 1.2K labour cost which is not acceptable... Service centers are just for making money
Hmm, i think it is bike specific or brake parts specific, the front brake pads i changed for cb350 is 9k km, and the second brake is still running with 17k and still on, and my rear brake is still on, and I commute long like 2000kms in a month. And please be aware of not adding the fully synthetic honda provide to put oil, in my 3rd service, they suggest to add this , however previous service i added the semi synthetic. The dangerous thing was after i rode for about 1200 km, the full synthetic one got 60% dried up, and i could feel the engine running very hot then after when i looked after a local garage, he suggested go for Castrol 30 5w, and my engine is working like butter since then. Also, my filter is still going on, i suggest if you travel in city please change the air filter in 5k-7k km as supposed to 16k suggested by company, this will not only improve performance but also mileage. For city i suggest to power wash the brake plates as buildup of dust is certainly going to add more friction to brake pads and plate. Suggest to wash once a week

I own a cb350 highness for over 3.5 years and 28k kms. Faced wobbling issues for last 15k kms and none of the service centers were able to resolve it. Eventually changed my tyres to Reise tourR and the issue is subsided to a very large extent but I still feel there is a steering disconnect. You mentioned in the video that it's a front end issue and we should get it resolved by the service center. Can you please tell me what exactly is the issue in the front end so that I can communicate the same to the mechanic next time I visit there?
I've had this bike for 2 years now, and had to change the brake pads on paid service. I was surprised that it happened after only 6000 kms. Can it be due to the awkward positioning of the br lever below the pedal? Agree with everything in this review. I have gotten used to the gear shifting and does not bother me anymore. But I'm getting 30 km/litre in the city and really don't understand what to do. Can you suggest something that I may be doing wrong?
You are right, front disc pads are very much vulnerable, don't know exactly reason. I was also told same in my second service. My second service costed 2996/- However, as you said long gearing and frequent shifting is compensated by clutch. Yes wobbling issue even, I didn't face till now. My highs are in range of 70 to 95 My lows are 30 to 55 in city. Mileage is around 35 plus or minus even in cities or high speeds. Refined yes, low vibrations yes. High maintenance in terms of service Yes. Previously I owned Meteor 350 , service wise CB 350 is very costly. I see major gap in costs. Let hope for best. I am also disappointed with cost they are charging on service.

Hness service is almost the same as Honda City , which means the car's service itself is cheap.
Break Pad is only issue i faced in Hness, on 13K Km i have changed break pad 3 times...
I've driven H'ness around 30,000+ km now. Issue with break pads is real.
What is the issue fo you need to change it offen
Do you recomend cb350 for 1st time bike owner ?
Cb350 has wobbling issue yes, but only when bike gets into an accident and wheel bearings gets displaced.
Go for scrambler 400
@@invoker_tm7556 The Scrambler 400 is a very good and nice bike, but my usage won't do justice to it. But recently I rode a 2024 Classic 350 and I was really impressed. Also the pillion seat felt a tad bit better than the CB350. Now the dilemma grows 🤣
@@sutsarnox happens I've been trying to buy one since march last year 🤣 but because of lack of decision making cost me alot like I'm unable to buy one till date
So ill recommend u one thing dont care about these stupid things like road presence like u arent going to see it while riding anyways so just take test side make ur mind by looking into factors such as service cost or maintanence cost and mileage cost and after analysing all the factors choose 1
@@sutsarnox i took a test ride of himalyan today and after that i understood its not made for me Im in need of something compact right now
@@invoker_tm7556 I actually have made up my mind.,.I am going to go for the Classic 350. 😁
Vai classic engine vs hness cb 350 which is better and parts quality engine quality paint quality which best
Awesome, truthful, genuine, stanbipulas, eye opener,, a video made by heart..
I also experienced d same..
God bless for this vid
Thank you so much
Your observation is going to help us a lot. Some people will notice the problem after watching your video they will be like "han yar ye to mere me bhi hota hai"😂😂😂
Excellent review. No one talks about these things. If possible do a review like this for every bike. Or talk with owners..
A genuine practical review. Its been 8months i am riding this, and feeling long gears are is actually a big issue in the city traffic this leads oain in palms too..
All points you captured are relatable. Thanks for this video
Извините, куда попадает масло?
I got my brake pads changed once done 16000 kms. I will check if brake pads need to be changed. My riding is mostly local.
I’m am using Honda activa 125 n I am happy with it
Happened to me as well.
Brakes, ABS, Traction control everything works well in order to save us. and in excess the MRF tyres came amlost 28K kms for me. so for that i don't mind changing brake pads frequently for that performance.
thank you for your valuable observation. it will affect my future decision to purchase next bike.
yes bro, i too face tall gear problem from hornet 160R, which i never got in Honda shine for 10 years. being a lower middle class, i cant afford to experiment and buy another bike after coughing 1.05 Lakh in 2017 on Hornet, so i am adjusting it and have somehow forced my mind to be quite. Next time i will test ride before i buy any bike.
I am Highness owner its better then any RE 350cc bikes. but I agree service cost is on higher side. Now I get the bike serviced in authorized service station but get the engine oil changed from outside.

I can connect with this review, i got same problem with my 1 week old hness. Horn button is too far from reach, u should hav longer thumb
मेरे भी front break 6k पे change हुए थे तब सिर्फ 25% बचे थे लेकिन riding pattern ठीक होने के बाद ब्रेक pad 18k तक चले
I have xpulse 200t covered 15000 km and brakes working 👍 I also use engine braking and use front braking more than rear brakes
...
Thanks bro for the genuine review.
I was planning to buy one, but now i am changing my decision. Want to spend my money on more worthy product.
Ye brother
Thats tall gear ratio makes u juggle with the gerar in city..
Same problem here... But now i am use to it..
Just can't slow down under 20 km/r in second gear.
Bro, I totally agree with the service cost is very high I have already raised this issue in many vlogs, plz do something to notice Honda bigwing to see in this matter 😊
This is true actually. I m also facing brake pad wear out issue every now and then
This is a real bike review, Honda bike company public ko lut Rahi hai
They charged me 4,936/- with break pads changed at around 4,500/- km they didn't even told me...when I ask them they said it's protocol
Why companies charge such high price for rear brake pad? In secondary mafket we get 3rd party brake pad at very low cost. Whats the reason
Great feedback on service cost.. Its difficult to sustain if high maintenance!
Please review cb350rs service cost.
Also suggest alternative.
If you had an opportunity to choose again.. let's say cb350, hiness 350, meteor 350, harley 440x.. which one would you pick?
My thunderbird front brake pads worked for 16 k odo😊
Bhai meri Hines average bahut kam deti hai only 30 to 32 MID par dhikha rahi .new bick hai firest survice bhi nahi huvi kya meri hiness ka avrage bhadh sakta hai
Honda Highness CB 350 was on my top buying decision till Triumph Speed 400 & HD X440 launched recently. Now i am sitting on the edge waiting to test ride the other 2 bikes before i decide which bike to buy. If i am not happy with the other bikes, i will proceed to buy Honda for sure
Honda best hai

One of the best review video
Bro, it is a whole different ball game in Mumbai
I changed my brakepads at 5500kms
& my brakepads were cleaned off within 600kms
The dealership itself said that you should go for aftermarket ones as this is a known issue during Monsoons for Mumbai
I was like why didnt you inform me about this when you were changing the pads in the first place
Going forward, will only install aftermarket brakepads
These brakepads cost 1100 per set but quality is barely 400-500rs worth
The service centre guys got it from outside for me for 900 bucks & it has been 3k kms the pads are fine in monsoons.
sir change rear sprocket of honda 500x -41 teeth insted of stock 35 teeth best solution for cb 350
Thanks for honest and pertinent feedback
What do you think, which one is better Honda CB 350 (DLX Pro) - Royal Enfield Classic 350 (Halcyon Dual channel) - Royal Enfield Hunter 350 (Dapper) - Honda Hness CB 350 (DLX Pro). As a general rider, I am in search of a bike suitable for daily commuting as well as occasional tours.
The only problem which exists is 😮have gone through many owners is very high service cost equal to maruti alto 🚗 and I also want to go for this bike
Can you give review of RE SUPER MATEOR, BSA 650 and lastly RE new Classic 350 2024..
What should I buy
Little confused..
In that case, the OEM brake manufacturer Nissin needs to look into this.
In my bike also they have changed the break pad to 6000 km. Service cost in Bangalore in 5K in 3 free service.
Hey i got new cb350 RS 20 days ago and got 750 km done on 21st day but they said my break pads need to be changed on my first servicing how is this possible?
Use other brand breakpads installed from outside.
Can we change in showroom it self or outside of the showroom
Can u calrify were to replace it plz give reply
I did a test ride of cb350 yesterday and I did feel the wobbling on slightly bad roads.
All bikes of honda has same gearing issues, actually it's not an issue overall but very annoying for city traffic,, actually this long gearing is good for extra mileage....
But much better produce then REs ...
Bhai tum true video bnate ho, negative comments ke baare mein mt socho
Hi Sir,
I have recently bought the hness cb 350 after the first service bike to give 28.6 mileage .E20 model mileage is less
Yes hness service cost is very very high. Afrer 4th service it costs 4400rs. Yes gearing and service cost is only 2 main cons of this bike after 1.8 months of use. Main positive thing is mileage. I get 43 around in highway and 37,38 kmpl in city
what should be your weight to use cb highness?
Nice honest review bro.
U saved me 😮
Key for a good long life of the brake pads or non tearing of the engine parts !
Brakes should be used simultaneously ( front & rear )
CB H'ness is a cruiser - and it should be ridden as a cruiser ( hope u understand )
Like your thoughts... Honesty should always prevail...
Thank you sir means a lot 🙏
I hv a unicorn....same issue.....service cost is much higher
Break pad k bare mein Jo bole wo sahi hai . Main Kolkata se hoon yaha par v 6k 7k kilometres mein change kar deta hai. Or 1 issue apne bataye Nehi chain sprocket v iska jaldi jata hai
Kitne kms me Gaya sprocket aur kya cost hoti h
It is true that gear changing is big issu not gear shifting it about weak your bike in traffic or lower speed.
Now a day servicing only washing, changing engine oil, cleaning air filter (without removing it)..
Had two bad experience, noticed there are hardly one professional machnic & rest of people just roaming around...
1.2K labour cost which is not acceptable...
Service centers are just for making money
This is absolutely true. Honda is looting us literally and the bike engine is not that worth it, I can get my car serviced at 25% lesser cost
Isn't that what you need when braking ..more friction
Hi Prakyat, I have started watching your videos lately and I must admit you stand out from others as you are completely honest and transparent which is super useful for buyers. Your intent is to bring forth those key aspects which usually gets missed out and prevents buyers from taking informed decison. Please keep up this honesty and don't bother about anything else. Service charge if compared RE it’s reasonable..
Highness overall 🤩
Not really... RE survice more affordable than Highness
Got changed 1st brake pads after 17000 kms.
More then 17000 km run with initial brake parts. wonderful bike . No match with any bike in segment.
Accelerate gradually instead of immediate raise, ensure wheels are filled with right amount of air. I get around 37 in city and 42 in highways.
@@nicksonbob2795 any other issues?
Break pads worn out in rainy season most... Its bad but the fact
You are right, front disc pads are very much vulnerable, don't know exactly reason. I was also told same in my second service.
My second service costed 2996/-
However, as you said long gearing and frequent shifting is compensated by clutch.
Yes wobbling issue even, I didn't face till now.
My highs are in range of 70 to 95
My lows are 30 to 55 in city.
