My rottweiler NEVER barks unless someone is at front door or if hes outside and wants in, or if he just wants to talk to you 😂
Rottweilers are naturals at LOVE.
Always remember the breed standard says they are to be “aloof and standoffish with strangers”. But once they make a friend, it is a friend for life.
And they will bark when they feel they need to, but seldom are they known for constant barking.
I have a 5month old who is amazing, can be hard work but he is amazing
Best dog breed of all. I lost my best friend Bruno to bone cancer last year on October 5th at 17:08. I miss him so much and have cried a lot. I would love another Rottie but the prices here in England have gone crazy with people cashing in. My fella was nothing like how the media portrays them. All the kids on the local park would all run over to meet him and give him a cuddle. I was with him for every single day I had him from a 12 week old puppy. Never put in kennels. Miss you Bruno. X

My three only bark when needed.
All of my Rotties have been NON-Barkers.. They have only barked WITH reason.. If a rottie barks he saw or heard something or is talking to you because he/she needs something...
I do agree a Rottie wants to be at the side of the owner at ALL times.. All of my rotties follow me where ever I go and if outside they stay very close to me and protect at all cost.. YOU NEVER OWN A ROTTIE... A ROTTIE OWNS YOU...
