Nice compact unit. A couple things I would want instead of that shown design. 1. Controls on the other side so the operator has same side access to load logs and also be away from the heat of the engine. 2. Double the splitter speed. 3. Hydraulic bar for cutting. 4. No winch. 5. Box wedge to produce 4" wide wood pieces.
I would like to see more about your firewood processors i am new at firewood splitting and i have access to wood that is coming from tree trimming companies mostly shorter lengths that logs
It looks like that operator was never trained for this machine, like he was trying it out for the first time. Cord King has said that with this machine the saw and a splitter can both operate at the same time. The operator did not take advantage of this feature very much. They have other machines for higher-capacity, but I am sure that this one can do a lot.
Very nice design. I like the option of winching or using a log deck. Also like how the splitting happens in front of the operator so you can easily reach pieces if you have to. Are you going to have one at Paul Bunyan?
Thanks for the complement. We are going to the Paul Bunyan show however unfortunately we will not be bringing a M1418 to the show. We will have a M1820 and CS2030-HO at the show though!! We look forward to meeting you in person.
Nice firewood processor. Is it possible to acquire this unit in Europe? on the CordKing Europe website it is not published. Nor can I know the price of the machine. How could I know? Thank you!
Just a thing or two I noticed. The splitter cycle time seems a bit slow. Pulling down on that saw to cut all day might be too fun. I would have thought you would have gone with twin leavers on the splitter for both auto deploy and retract. Not seeing the machine in person moving the log from cutting to splitting seems like too many processes. Maybe just letting the log fall into the splitting chamber like you other products seems a bit simpler and one less hydraulic circuit. I do like that it comes with the conveyor and the log lift. Just my two cents for what's it's worth.
Thanks for the feedback. The splitter cycle time is certainly slower but there' is only so much you can do with 13 hp. That being said the unique features on this machine are the fact you can cut and split at the same time so this more than makes up for the slower splitting cycle. As for the twin lever auto split, it would adds more cost and we can certainly supply it if someone is willing to pay more. we tried to keep the price point as low as practically possible to get a new firewood producer in the game. With our 12 month 100% trade-up guarantee you have the piece of mind knowing your machine can grow as your business dictates. Having a log fall directly into the splitter chamber is always first choice for sure but the beauty of this machine is to skid tree length logs into itself and thus the infeed needed to be kept as low as possible to the ground requiring the block transfer. Thanks again, Cord King
Cord King this is exactly why companies need to do UA-cam and interact with possible clients! Awesome awesome thank you for replying! Thank you for the reasoning on how the machine is built! Thank you so very much!

And still no hints on a ballpark price as shown?

I'd like to know how much this is to..thank you
How much is this machine?
How often does the chain need sharpning
A lot is my bet.
It really depends on what wood you are cutting
