- Today we are showcasing a BRAND NEW 2023 STRYKER PRO 500 (16' 4") Blacked Out EDITION with a MERCURY 30hp EFI ELHPT motor. We are at Stryker Boats warehouse in Aldergrove, British Columbia, CANADA.
With this package is the NEW Mercury 30HP with some cool new features. There is a Stryker Deluxe pedestal seat, installed into the aluminum floor. In the back of the boat there is a battery box, Xlarge fuel tank and a built in cool new bilge pump for your soft bottom boat. This is all wired to the console. Simply push a button on the dash and you are good to go on the water!
Here are some cool features of the STRYKER PRO 500 inflatable boat:
+ 6 separate air chambers for added safety
+ Full bottom protection with a thick corrugated rubber on the entire bottom of this inflatable boat (STRYKER SHIELD) (Industry First)
+ Transom spray skirt on the bottom of the outboard as well as up on the tubes
+ Fully welded 1 piece aluminum transom (Industry First)
+ All the seams are thermowelded, no chance of failure
+ D-rings throughout the boat
+ Scotty fishing bases preinstalled at factory. You can plug and play up to 30 different fishing accessories (ie rod holders, cupholders, crab pullers, bait board)
+Bimini mounts installed (all PRO models come with a Bimini)
+New A-style bow
+ NEW for 2023 all PROS have bow canopy mounts to install a canopy that protects you from the spray coming from the sides of the boat and also wind protection.

Wow... just wow! My educated guess is this is our build. Thank you to everyone at Stryker, an incredible company whose products we discovered by randomly searching UA-cam, and whose representatives embody great customer service. This boat means more to me than can be expressed in words or pictures (although I also intend to do that) and from the very moment we embark on our trip to B.C. to pick it up and then every time we make a life-affirming memory plying our home waters of CDA, Idaho.

It's a lovley boat in all fairness but I personally feel that any thing over the 3.8m mark with a sib has too much flex and a solid Hull makes more sense :)

I am waiting for my 320 lx from you. Very excited. But I have to ask....at 16'5" and trailer, it's not portable and heavy. Why not go fiberglass? I need mine to fit in my truck bed and close the target. That boat is not going anywhere unless it's on a trailer.
Do you have any more details on the inflatable floor model? Is this being introduced as an option for jet motors on rivers? I've been looking at solar boats but imported they are absurdly expensive.

Hey, I have a question. I am going to buy the HD 470 tomorrow from factory as there is a 15% discount. Paired with 30hp Tohatsu, do you think it would get up on plane well loaded with 1500-2000 lbs onboard?
Hi, that’s a tough question. I feel like it should, especially with 1500lbs and weighted properly throughout the boat. We’ve had 6 adults in a 500 with 30hp and was able to get on plane, roughly 1400 lbs.
That’s a lot weight, how did it work out?
@@Sea-Bass I did buy the boat but I have not bough the motor yet. Still using my old 20hp merc.
@@pepelapiu2004 how is it with that much weight? I have to use an inflatable for swift water rescue, otherwise it would not be my first choice.
@@Sea-Bass The trip we were planning got canceled so we never got to try it heavily loaded. With the old 20hp merc we can get 2-3 heavy men with fishing gear up on plane, no problems.
Definately, I love my Stryker. The only wish I have is for some sort of slip on RIB shell for my SIB. So I could go with the soft belly for portability or just snap on the hard shell when we want that for performance.

...I like all the d-rings. I use a scrap piece of green plastic garden fencing...similar to the orange construction site stuff, which I carabaneer to the d-rings on my Minnow III. All my gear goes under it, safely trapped if I roll over. If some fat drunken slob falls overboard that I decide to save, you can use it to get an incapacited person onboard...cheap solution for pro technique.
