I've watched this video a few times but never check to see if my resistor was removed, but I finally decide to, and turns out the previous owner didn't remove it when they installed the id1050x. This video fixed my lean idle issues, thank you!
Awesome fix, love experiencing or seeing a small and cheap part can totally change how it runs. I recently changed my spark plugs and coil packs on my 911 and it idles super smooth now. It wasn't exactly cheap but I did it myself and super happy.
You absolutely need to remove that resistor for high Z injectors. high or low impedance from a tune won't matter as long as the cold start tables and scaling values are correct. It's still just a matter of scaling properly. I'm surprised you didn't have other issues.
Great fix. It seems those injectors weren't accounted for during the initial tune. Would there be any further test or tuning needed now that you have the correct part installed?
Have the same problem, have to give it a little gas whenever I start it and feather the gas for about 20 seconds for it to idle right. Once in a while it stumbles when coming to a stop, more so with my e85 map. Running rc 1,200 injectors, do you think that this would help. Getting a tune in about 3 weeks, so want to make sure everything is 100% Thanks
Sounds like it might be a biss screw, or idle step controller issue just from my experience. If you have to open the throttle body to start it via gas peddle, as far as the biss goes you would turn it counterclockwise to allow more airflow at base idle. Problem is if your fuel trims your car has learned since last time it was dc'd from the battery aren't good, just turning the biss isn't really what you should do. Personally I'd reset my fuel trims by disconnecting the battery and then see how it does when you start it up and then see if the biss helps. If you don't have any way to flash a tune you might endup idling high cause you can't compensate the additional idle your adding with the base idle set screw by lowering the idle target. The idle stepper lookup table or iscv setting are probably your main issue assuming all your sensors are good, but that Def requires someone that knows what they're doing and the ability to flash. The biss is kinda an easy bandaid ish fix.
Woaw my mustang runs the same way once i put aftermarket fuel injectors when i procharged it... literally bogs down and up every cold start and coming to stop signs and red lights it can sometimes die... would it even be the same reason as your issue?? 👀👀

So satisfying!

Yeah I'm surprised it even ran at all
Solid video , keep building and growing fam
Cheers man!
We will definitely keep watching check us out when you get sometime
Sounds like those injectors just needed a bit of that little blue pill. Fix that impotence lickety split!!
😂
usually those are for HI z injectors . if it wasnt running properly it was scaling/tune issue .

Nearest I can tell no. I've been keeping an eye on the afr gauge since deleting this thing and I haven't noticed any difference in behavior at WOT.
@@EatSleepDrive Seems it's delivering the goods!
Cool. I'm having the same issue right now. So...is this thing is not gonna make engine light turned on?
What is that thing you replaced called again?
Why is your AFR’s at low 10s running rich?
I have the same issue with my 2014 you think this is something that will fix it

Where can i find this plug 🔌? I'm having the same problem. Great videos..

You can save the $20 and cut the wires from the resistor box and just put them all together too
Where can i find this bypass for $20 dollars?
Hi I’m John I like your video I have that problem to so can you help me where can I get the injector resistor please thanks
What is the name of the part ? Mine does this
Hey mate please can you send me a link to buy it 🙏
Link to your oil catch can?

Not sure if that's built into your Mustang like it is mine, but I would do some research on that. Did you get a custom tune when you procharged it?
EatSleepDrive yes i did, over at brothers performance. Been the same issue even after new tunes
Where can I buy the by pass ?
whats that thing called I need to get one lol can you send me the link if you don't mind ?
Is there anyway to get in contact with you? I bought your car off someone from PA
Hit me up on IG. @EatSleepDriveTV
Where i get that bypass?
STM
Hello where can I get this bypass?
spoolin up www.spoolinup.com/Injector-Resistor-Bypass_p_73.html
There's something wrong with it?
...That's weird..
Yep, it's a Mitsubishi so.....
LOL
Idling at 10.0 not good!
Should probably do some research before mods.
I bought it this way mate.
Its kind of like im-pee-dense
I'm Pee & Dance
Root, to impede.
Bruh you got a lot of gas.thrash it🤔
