Yeah after I've already seen B. I. S Still haven't seen pastoral, to see what type G Shep. was b. o. b. Here U. S. are in herding grp. & the shoreline breeders gone to extremes, with over angulation, over sloped, hunched backs
I adore Cavs, I’ve had 3, but this is wrong. This cavalier is only 18 months old and has sired SEVEN litters (that we know of) already when it is recommended that they are at least 2 and a half before breeding. This is because the health problems associated with the breed can be fully tested for at that age.
That's concerning. To be honest, that cavalier looks like he's pretty healthy in terms of nose and skull shape/size etc but there is still such a problem with bracycephalic dogs in the Toy category. I'm absolutely not against breeding dogs but at some point a healthy nose and skull shape should take precedence over show-ring aesthetics - the exaggerated 'peke' faces are also not attractive anyway.
@@newcamomile It's not the brachycephaly, Sophie is likely talking about the heart problems that are prevalent in Cavs. They're descended from quite a small stock of dogs and one of those dogs carried a genetic variant that causes severe heart issues which typically become apparent once they're fully mature. It's a breed that needs extremely aware breeding and diligent testing to be bred ethically, but they're also wildly popular show dogs in the UK and those interests are frequently at odds.
Actually are more critical of th breed. known for, & recognized a "good one" & are not that familiar with other breeds . But the Yorkie, the hair/ coat , wow!! & perfect top line, showed well, should've been first .
@@uskok4636 I'm not too familiar wit Ital. greyhounds, but what u see is what u get, with long hairs can cover up imperfections. All were judged be best of breed, & is up to judge opinion which best represents..
Especially on the Pekes, pugs, The standards for brachy faced, like pekes, pugs, bulldogs, Frenchies, even Boston's have gone to extremes, here in U. S , & don't even get me started on the GSD !!
i still find it hard to adjust with toy poodle reclassified under utility. im worried for the chihuahuas going in the way of german shepherds...i've been following dog shows in the us and the uk and i noticed the chihuahua's legs are preferred to be shorter these days than 10 years ago.
Met a lovely Lhasa Apso yesterday. Hej was cut short and looked so much better than this one, because you could actually see the dog and not only the hair!
You have to wonder if dog’s actually like doing these sort of thing lol 😂 beautiful dogs yet dogs should be running around outside or go on actual walks not prance around in a competition.
A good, stable dog loves the focused attention that it gets from its owner/handler during training, or putting that training to use in competition. Dogs love the interaction.
Wonderful group 💕 One just had to watch that one more time, and I suspect that it will be a third time too.
And our lovely female judge had more backcombing than an Old English Sheepdog!!..Good job!!
I wouldn't expect anything less!!
Back in 60s we called teasing,
Looks like the Jackie K. bouffant!
Yes. Lol.

Seven? Then she should have been 4 months the first time, i don't think so!

no surprise there since the judge specialises in cavaliers and king charles spaniels. No bias there then.

Havanese, always my favourite ❤
Havanese is a wonderful first dog. They are really lovely!

I usually don't liker Guinness but i love the Papillon Guinness ♥️🇮🇪
and what if you don't overfeed an alabai from the breeder and feed it raw
Hyvä sisko!
Bolognese 😍❤
Judge breeds and shows cavaliers herself, of course she picks that breed to go best in group without a spec of hesitation. Bit of a dupe really.
That cavaliers is now on 28 ccs he is one of the best we have ever had in the breed. Judges tend to be more critical of there own breed a.
Please stop saying ruskie...same last year...its russian.
Sorry but the breed name is Russkiy toy!

Well u can't show a bald Lhasa, or any long coated, if is in standard. Coat length & condition is part of judging , & that Yorkie was perfection!
@@Memow-pk1ng They look better without all that hair.
@@Memow-pk1ng No yorkie outside of show rings looks like it.
